9 Chapter 9: Send her away.

Daisy's family registered doesn't has her step mother's name anymore. She is included in the Knight family but no one knew except for them. It wasn't some confidential information but no one asked for it.

Today, Daisy's lectures were in the afternoon and ended by 3 PM so she was free. She decided to surprise Xavier by going to his office. It was her first time going there. She reached the building. It was tall and stood all high in front of her small self.

She definitely was small especially compared to Xavier who was all well built and had strong body while she was fragile. Anyone would feel like protecting her once they saw her. She was like a small kitten.

She entered the main building with a bright smile on her face. The receptionist stopped her. "May I know who do you want to meet?", the receptionist asked not so politely when she checked out Daisy from head to toe.

Daisy didn't had a poor background and her clothes and accessories were all expensive. She was carrying a causal look with black lacy shorts and white crop top that had lacy design at the end with black expensive boots. She was wearing diamond wristwatch that she got with Xavier.

"I'm here to meet the CEO", Daisy said politely in her sweet baby like tone. "Do you have an appointment?", the receptionist asked disgustingly. She was in her mid twenties and was interested in the CEO just like other women out there.

"I don't have an appointment", Daisy said in a low tone. "But I know him personally. Which floor do I have to go to meet him?", Daisy asked with a bright smile. "I can't tell you. The President is busy", the receptionist said arrogantly.

"He won't mind if I go", Daisy said like a small child. "President is currently busy. He will be angry if anyone disturbs him. Many women come and say the same to see our CEO. Let me tell you, our President is not interested in little girls. So you better try somewhere else", the receptionist sneered.

Daisy blinked a few times. "He really won't mind. Wait let me call him", Daisy said and took out her mobile. The receptionist was arrogant and stared at Daisy. "My mobile is dead. Can I use the phone?", Daisy asked politely.

"Sure", the receptionist smirked. She thought that Daisy was just acting to get into Xavier's bed. Daisy dialed the number of Xavier. It rang but no one picked up. She tried one more time but no one answered.

"He's not picking the call. Can you call his assistant? I don't remember his number", Daisy said to the receptionist. "Why are you wasting your time? President doesn't wants to see you. Why humiliate yourself? Leave or should I call the security?", the receptionist said arrogantly.

Daisy frowned. "Call his assistant now. I don't need your advice. Xavier will decide if he wants to see me or not. He doesn't needs you", Daisy mocked arrogantly. She had been controlling her anger a lot but this receptionist kept crossing her bottom line.

"You slut dared to talk to me like that?! Who do you think you are?", the receptionist lost her temper. "Just call his assistant and you'll know who I am", Daisy said arrogantly. The receptionist smirked and dialed the number.

"Yeah. Okay, I got it", the receptionist answered on the call then turned to Daisy. "What did he say?", Daisy asked with bright eyes. "He said sluts are like you shouldn't be in our company and asked you to get lost. Let me tell you President himself said it", the receptionist smirked.

Daisy frowned. She was more angry now. "How dare he say that to me?!", she clenched her fists. "Stop throwing tantrums and get lost if you don't want to be more humiliated", the receptionist sneered.

Suddenly, a lady came. She was elegant and looked more sensible than Daisy who was spoiled. The woman was probably in her mid twenties. She had great figure and was covered in all expensive articles. She looked at Daisy and gave a disgusted look.

"Ms. Ava Martin, how may I help you?", the receptionist asked more politely than she did to Daisy. "I'm here to meet Xavier. I'm going to his office. He personally called me", Ava said arrogantly.

"Sure. You may go", the receptionist said. Ava's father was one of the well known businessman and everyone knew her while Daisy wasn't known by much people.

"How can you allow her? I know him personally too", Daisy said to the receptionist. "Do you know who I am?! I'm Xavier's girlfriend. Who are you?", Ava mocked. "I'm his wife", Daisy said.

"If you're his wife then why did he said to throw you out?", the receptionist mocked. "He must not know that I was the one", Daisy said more like convincing herself. "Shut up. There are many sluts like you who want to climb onto his bed. Get lost or I'll call the security", Ava mocked.

Daisy glared at her and then walked out with an angry expression.

After an hour, the company was in uproar. A girl dared to touch the CEO'S car. Xavier's black Roll Royce was painted in all pink and the logo was changed into Hello Kitty's logo. The number plate was changed and the plate said I'm a Princess.

Soon four guards came towards the girl who was none other than Daisy. Two guards held her hands. "What are you doing?", she asked looking at the spray paints in their hands. "Its the CEO'S orders", one of the guard said.

Daisy felt her heart shatter. Did he knew that it was me? "He ordered us to spray you and break your hands", the other guard said. Daisy widened her eyes. She knew that he won't be so cruel to her.

"Does he know that it was me?", she asked in a low tone. There were many other employees of the company who watched the show. "Of course. Since he ordered us that means he knows who you are", the guard said.

Daisy lowered her head. No one loves. Even he hates me. Was my mistake so big? But wasn't it his fault to not pick my call?! He doesn't loves me anymore but I don't want my hands to hurt. She thought.

A guard came towards her but she bite on the guard's hand who was holding her right hand catching all of them off guard. She jerked her hand and ran away. The guards were following her but she was a good runner.

She hide near an old building. Soon, the guards stopped following her. She squatted down and sat wrapping her arms around her knees as she sobbed silently. She drew random patterns on the ground.

"I will never go back to you. You too abandoned me. I hate you. Only my mommy loved me. I miss you, mom. No one wants me", she sniffed loudly. Suddenly, she heard a sound. She looked up and saw a small kitten.

The kitten came to towards her and rubbed it's head on her ankle. It licked her feet's top. Suddenly, she remembered how Xavier teased her by licking her foot and toes and she would giggle because of the ticklish feeling. There was a bitter feeling thinking of all the things.

"Are you alone like me? We both are same. No one wants us", she rubbed the kitten's head. She sniffed and pulled the kitten into her embrace. The kitten was snow white and was from a good breed. It looked like it was only few months old.

"You're so cute. How can someone abandon you? Where's your mommy?", she asked looking at cat in her arms that curled up into a fluffy ball. She rubbed it's head lovingly.

It was dark now. Daisy sat on staircase of the old building while the kitten was beside her living it's feet. "What are you doing here?", a deep voice asked. Daisy started trembling as she slowly looked up to see Xavier and behind him were twelve bodyguards.

"Where have you been? Why is your phone not reachable?", Xavier asked with a frown. "Why are you here?", she asked without looking at him. "I have been searching for you everywhere and finally found you here. What were doing the whole day?", he asked.

"I don't want to see you. Go away", she said and looked down. He held her arm and make her stand up. Daisy struggled but that just had to tighten his grip. "Let go of me", she struggled. "Why are you behaving like this?", he asked in a bit frustrated tone.

"I don't want to be with you. I... I want a divorce", she said gathering all her courage. "What did you say?", he asked to confirm. "I want a divorce", she said looking into his eyes. "I dare you to say that again. You married me and now you're stuck with me for the rest of your life, did you get that?", he asked harshly.

"Did you get it?", he raised his voice. He had a terrifying look and his voice was cold that made Daisy to shiver as tears welled in her beautiful eyes. He held her hand and tried to pull her but she stood at the spot.

He turned to her and raised his brow. She was looking down and all of a sudden she bite his hand until he let go of her hand which was when he started bleeding. She turned around and started running away.
