47 Chapter 47: The Unfilial parents.
Alaia and Aden finally graduated with flying colors. Today was their graduation ceremony.
Alaia was wearing a simple butterfly sleeve navy blue knee length dress and matching high heels. Her hairs were let down and her face void of any makeup. The black gown was hanging on her arm.
She walked towards where Aden was. He was wearing black suit and a white shirt inside looking handsome. His hairs were tasseled behind giving him the mature look of a businessman.
She tapped his shoulder to which he turned to her and wrapping his arm around her waist he pulled her close to himself. Alaia took off her mask and smiled at him. All of Aden's friends had their eyes wide open upon seeing Alaia.
"Meet her. My girlfriend, Alaia", Aden introduced and jaws of all the guys dropped to the ground. Alaia pushed him away and said, "You never proposed to me. How can you say I'm your girlfriend?"
Aden thought for a while before he spoke, "I love you, Lai Lai. You have always been mine so why would I even need to ask you to be my girlfriend? You have always been my girl."
Alaia rolled her eyes but in the end kissed his cheek. "I love you too", she said and wrapped her arms around his neck. Aden smirked and pulled her close to himself.
"Alaia, did you see today's headlines? You are on the top search today", one of Aden's friend said. Alaia's brows tugged together as she glanced at Aden in confusion. Aden took his friend's mobile and checked the news.
All of a sudden Alaia's mobile rang showing the number of her manager. "Alaia, your mother is creating a mess for you. Come to the company right now or you might lose everything you built in all these years", her manager said.
"Okay", Alaia answered and hung up then turned to Aden.
"Don't worry everything will be fine. I'll do to PR right now", Aden said to which Alaia nodded. They got into his car and he drove to StarArt immediately. Alaia was deep into her own thoughts the whole time.
Alaia did not have a wealthy background to start with. Her mother was drug addict and her father was a gambler. Her elder sister saw that Alaia was interested in acting so her sister helped her get into the industry and because of her talent, Alaia was able to get on top now.
Her parents were always against her choice of career. Her parents thought bad about the industry. Until the age of 10, Alaia used to shoot secretly but as her fame rised, her pictures were shown everywhere and almost every person in the country knew her.
When her parents came to know about it, her father who was an alcoholic, beat her until she was sent to the hospital. Later, her parents would always pester her for money and if she did not give them money then they threatened her to ruin her career.
Recently, Alaia was busy with Crystal's wedding and stuffs so she forgot to send money and one day her mother called her. That day, Alaia was too angry so she denied to give any money. She always thanked her sister for the exposure but now she was really frustrated with everything.
She wished her sister never brought her to the audition and she never was selected. She knew how this industry was. It would praise her until her background was clean but now that everything was out, people were sure to criticize her.
She wished she had her sister with her right now but that could be just a wish for her sister died when Alaia was only 14. Her sister was diagnosed with blood cancer and lived only until the age of 18. She also had an elder brother who is three years older than her but she couldn't wish anything from him.
Her brother was a part of some small Mafia gang and he hated her. He would do anything to kill her for he says that she brings shame to him. She could not turn up to anyone during her bad times. She was all alone.
As they reached the company, Aden was busy doing everything he could to suppress the news that was spreading like wild fire. The public has already started judging Alaia because of her background given she was a daughter of drug addicts.
Although every news was suppressed but almost more than half the country knew the news. Aden was worried about Alaia who was sitting in his office quietly which worried him more and more.
He called Xavier who was already aware of the news and before Aden did anything, he had already started giving orders to the PR department. After all, it was about one of the artists of his company and he could not let some random person tarnish his reputation.
"You don't have to call me personally. She is our artist. Tell her to go and do a drug test", Xavier said coldly and hung up. Aden told to Alaia to go to the hospital with her manager and do all the tests properly.

Xavier was taking more measures not because he wanted or it was his responsibility but because there was a little woman ordering him in his office. She did not want her best friend to go through any difficulties.
Xavier looked at Daisy who was going through the news in her mobile completely ignoring his presence which he did not like. "Bad wolf, what else can we do? Can we bring Lai Lai's mom and make her confess that Lai Lai is innocent?", she asked looking up at him.
"Do you want me to do it?", he asked raising a brow. "What will you do? Can we kidnap her?", she asked to which he chuckled. "We can kidnap her, make her confess then we can toss her into the ocean. What do you say?", he asked.
"Good idea."
Xavier chuckled at her innocent reply. Daisy stood up and walked towards Xavier then wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed on his cheek. She leaned her head against his from the side and hugged him tighter.
Xavier chuckled.

A few hours later, reports of Alaia were released by StarArt's PR and the rumours were cleared but Aden was still not satisfied. He logged into his social media account and wrote a post which was more a like a warning.
The social media was again having lots of discussions. Some people wondered if both the brothers have already decided to release their relationship status on internet like this.
Aden had officially announced that Alaia was his fiancee and whoever would dare to disrespect her will be going against the Knights. So one has to think before they spread rumours about Alaia.
Being the third in command of Death by the Drogons, he had control over the gang. Aden ordered his men to get two people to their base within half an hour. If not, then he will personally make everyone pay.
Within less than half an hour, those two people were right in front of his eyes. Aden stood in front of Alaia's parents with an evil smile on his face. "Who are you? And why did you kidnap us?", the man shouted.
"I'm Alaia's fiance, Aden Knight", Aden said in a cold tone. Her parents had their eyes wide open. "Knight? As in the heir of Knight Groups?", they asked to which he gave a nod.
"But you won't get any benefits from me because you hurt Alaia. She might forgive you but not me. Shall we begin?", Aden smirked as he grabbed a small dagger. Their eyes widened when he approached them with the dagger in his hand.

After more than two hours of torture, Aden stop. He had almost disfigured the two. He did not kill them but the torture was enough for them to know that it was a bad idea to go against Alaia now.
Satisfied with the results, Aden walked out of the room and cleaned himself then went to meet Alaia.
