Chapter 42: Interested.

The things went on for like two weeks between Aden and the mysterious girl.

One day, the girl came to university earlier than usual and stopped Aden on his way. "What?", he asked arrogantly. "Why do you keep sharing at me?", she asked keep her cap low so he won't see her face.

"What's your name?", he asked ignoring her question. "I asked you something", she said a bit pissed off. "Even I asked you something", he said simply with a shrug.

"Are you dumb? Why do you keep staring at me?", she asked again in a bit annoyed tone. "Do you have any proof that I was staring at you?", he asked raising a brow at her. She clenched her fists angrily and stormed inside the class.

Aden chuckled upon seeing her little angry behavior. "What's wrong?", asked one of Aden's friend who was coming towards him. Aden shook his head and walked inside the classroom and sat at the back like usual.

He looked at the girl who was sitting in the opposite corner. She sighed in frustration and raised the book covering her face from his gaze. Aden found her too amusing and cute.

'Not bad. She has gotten a good temper. Are all of us brothers fated to get girls who throw tantrums?' He thought not realizing that he just addressed the stranger girl as 'his' girl.

When he realized what he just thought, he smirked to himself.

Aden stood up after the second class and walked to the seat of the girl. She was sitting quietly and waiting until everyone left so she would also leave for the third lecture. She packed her things and stood up.

She saw Aden approaching her but decided to ignore him and walk forward. Aden frowned when she tried to walk away from him. He held her wrist and pulled her back not wanting to let her go.

"Leave", she voiced out without turning back. Aden did not say a word and kept holding her hand for a while until she turned to jerk her hand away. Aden at that moment took off her cap revealing her face.

His eyes widened when he saw the girl's face. Now he understood why he always thought of her as someone familiar. She is his ex girlfriend from five years back and also one of the top actress from StarArt, Alaia Wells.

Alaia is 21 year old. She has hazel eyes, small nose, thin rosy lips and brownish blonde hairs. Her height is around 5'6". She comes from a good background. Crystal and Alaia have been with each other since their childhood. Even with their age difference, they were close to each other and became friends.

Alaia had been in the industry for long but she didn't wanted to keep her studies at halt so she comes to the university whenever she gets time. And now that their exams are near, she attends almost everyday.

When Aden and Alaia were in middle school, they used to like each other and had been in a relationship for two or so years but because Alaia was more busy with her career, they had to break up. None of them were much affected thinking it was just mere attraction.

"Laia", he called her with the name he used to address her with. "What? Leave. Now you saw who I am", she said arrogantly and tried to pull her hand back but he wasn't ready to let go of her. Alaia sighed in frustration.

"Let go, Aden", she widened her eyes and gave a pointed look. He kept staring at her face without saying anything. Alaia gritted her teeth in frustration. "Ugh. Can you just let go?", she asked trying to pull her hand.

Aden left her hand all of a sudden due to which she lost her balance and was about to fall but he held her by her waist. She opened her eyes slowly and looked at Aden who was staring at her.

She pushed him away, thanked him and walked out quickly without turning back. Aden kept staring at her back without moving an inch then he too walked out for his next class.

Daisy was getting ready for her interview with one of the movie promotion. Since the movie was halfway through the Post Production, they were getting many interview offers for the movie which will also help Daisy to get more exposure.

Daisy put on a sleeveless round neck white bodycon dress with a red belt around her waist. The dress had a wrapped up design and it ended on her knees. She paired red ankle strap heels.

Her hairs were curled loosely and tied in a ponytail leaving a few strands. Her makeup was simple and elegant. Her lips were painted with red lipstick giving her a beautiful elegant look. She put on simple white pearl and diamond earrings and a simple chain bracelet.

Daisy sprayed her favorite perfume and gave one last glance at herself in front of the mirror before she walked out of her vanity van along with her Blake and Rosy. She met with the other cast and greeted them.

Only the main cast of five actors were called for the interview. They walked inside the room where the interviewer was waiting for all of them. There were two actresses and three actors in the main cast.

The woman who was the interviewer greeted them with a smile while they sat on the couch in front of her. The interview is going to be telecasted on one of the talk show on weekends as per their regular schedule.

The lady whose name was Veronica did the greeting part looking at the camera and then introduced the cast very cheerfully. "So let's begin our interview. First question for Daisy. How was your experience on working with one of the top actor, Chris?"

"It was a very nice experience. I really got to learn a lot of things working opposite to him. He always treats me like his own younger sister", Daisy answered looking at the camera with a smile on her face.

"Was it hard to match up to his requirements? Because we all know how good he is", Veronica said with a smile. "It was hard but his guidance made it easier", Daisy said in a gentle and calm tone.

Veronica then asked other questions to the rest of the cast. "Daisy, this one is for you. You come from a family of business tycoons, can we expect you to become a CEO in the future and work in your company?"

"I will work as a CEO if its necessary. I've studied management for so long. So I should put it to work one day", Daisy said sarcastically earning a round of chuckle from everyone.

"Indeed. Okay, so these are some questions for the public that they posted on our social media for you", Veronica said taking out an envelope from the side. Daisy nodded as she knew that people really ask questions on their social media handles for the actors.

"So someone wants to know how Mr. Knight reacted during your intimate scene with Chris", Veronica asked anticipating a bite from Daisy. "Well, he was okay with it since he was there to supervise it personally being my manager", Daisy said with a light chuckle.

"Also, what can you actually do in front of so many people and when her husband is standing with a threatening look", said Kyler, one of actor of the movie. Everyone started laughing at his comment.

"Daisy, your sister is also in the industry. Would you two work together in one project some day?", Veronica asked. "Maybe", Daisy gave a short answer.

After some more questions, Veronica asked Daisy about her upcoming projects. "I'll start shooting of my upcoming film of Director Oliver, 'Demon in the mirror' in the coming summer", Daisy answered.

"Can you tell us about the upcoming film?", Veronica asked politely.

"Its a thriller and fantasy movie. Liza, the Female lead gets stuck in the mirror world one day and meets a man who rules that world but is a Demon. Liza who is a human will teach him what real love is. I can't tell much otherwise it will be a big spoiler", Daisy said with a smile.

"Thank you to everyone for giving us the time to interview you all. It was a pleasure having you all on our show", Veronica said politely and smiled at them.

The host was supposed to ask Daisy a few questions about the controversies but since a man standing in the studio was supervising everything, they couldn't risk it or they might lose their jobs and show once and for all.

Daisy went to the vanity van and found Xavier sitting on the couch. She gave him a smile and sat on his laps wrapping her arms around his neck. "I knew you were here otherwise it was impossible that they let me go so easily", she giggled and kissed on his cheek leaving her lipstick mark.

"Oops. Let me get some tissues to wipe the lipstick off your face", she said and tried to stand but he held her back hugging her tightly. "Let it stay like that. Let people know I belong to my babygirl", he said resting his face on her shoulder.

"Bad wolf, I'm hungry. I didn't eat anything for the whole three hours", Daisy pouted. "I'll take you for lunch. Get changed", he said loosening his grip around her. She immediately started missing his warmth.

"Wear something more warm", he said when she started walking away. Daisy gave a nod.
