40 Chapter 40: The assistant director is unhappy...

The next morning, Daisy returned to the set of the movie. She was accompanied by her four bodyguards, Blake and Rosy. Since the shoot had to be stopped for awhile due to her injuries some people were upset about it.

Although some people were upset, they didn't dare say it on her face knowing the man who backed her up. Daisy went to her dressing room to get ready for the shoot.

She came out after getting changed and her makeup done. She was supposed to shoot the part first but the assistant director said that she would have to wait because they were shooting the Male lead.

Daisy was sitting in her room for like three hours but still no one called her. Finally after waiting so much, Blake gets annoyed and goes out to talk it out while Daisy too comes out to see what exactly was going on.

"Just because Daisy is married to the President doesn't mean that everything must go her way", Daisy heard a girl say. She walked to the direction of the voice and noticed two staffs talking about her.

Daisy's brows tugged together. She really wanted to laugh hearing them talk. Jealousy speaks a lot for sure. She was aware that this glamorous industry was shabby and filled with jealous people but like to this point?

Was it her fault that she got hurt in the first place?

The two women noticed Daisy and were startled knowing the man backing her up would destroy them if she complained about them to him. They immediately shut their mouths and apologized to her.

"Ma'am, please don't complain about us. We were just saying random stuffs", first girl said almost begging. Daisy's brows tugged together. "So what if she is to complain? Not everything goes her way. Even the assistant director is unhappy", the other girl said arrogantly.

Daisy was all quiet the whole time. The first girl nudged her friend gesturing to keep her mouth shut. "What can she do? Throw tantrums? That's what all the actresses do. She is no different", the second said.

"You are right. I'm no different but not everyone wants to create hype by causing trouble. It wasn't my fault that I was hurt, was it?", Daisy spoke in a serious tone. She didn't wait for them to answer and walked away.

She sat on the couch in her room waiting for Blake to come back. After ten minutes he came back. "What did they say?", Daisy asked standing up in front of Blake who looked very annoyed by whatever discussion he had.

"The assistant director is unhappy about the break you took. He is accusing President Xavier for being biased towards you", Blake explained everything to Daisy which she listened carefully.

Daisy didn't say anything for a while before she started walking out of her room. She went towards the assistant director. "Mr. Hutchins, can I have a mintue of discussion with you?", she asked politely looking at the man who was directing the other actor.

"Mrs. Knight, if you think I'll be scared of your threats then you are mistaken...", Daisy simply cut him off. "For your kind information, I'm not here to threaten you of your position. Second, being a director, it's your duty to not keep any bias against any actors given their background just because you come from a poor background."

The director glared at her because he hated when someone brought up his past. The man was once someone who used to work hard to get everyday food. He hated being poor and now when someone reminds him of his old days, he gets angry.

"Truth hurts? Well, if you say that recovery period is called getting biased towards someone then I'm sorry to say, you have some problems with your brain. Given that I came much before my actual leave period. I can sue you for treating a new actress badly just because she took leave for her recovery. And I'm sure, no one would be against it."

This was the first time Daisy ever talked out so much instead of keeping quiet and crying aside. She was slowly growing up as the days were passing by.

The director was stunned for a while. He didn't think that she would raise her voice given her past experiences. He felt like he had really overreacted this time and everything she stated were really true.

"You can start shooting", the assistant director said looking away from her. Daisy didn't say much and walked away to her room to get the final touch up of her makeup and then she went to the set for shoot.

Daisy had a scene with Chris the next day which was a intimate scene. "Daisy, you don't need to worry about the scenes tomorrow. We will do it properly", said Chris, the male lead of the cast of movie.

Daisy gave a simple nod.

They did shooting till late at night and by 11 at night, they finally packed up. Daisy was tired from working. They had early morning shoot the next day by 6. As soon as her back hit the soft mattress of her bed, she fell asleep.

The next morning, Daisy woke up as her stomach kept grumbling loudly for food. She did not have anything since last afternoon. She sat up and rubbed her flat stomach. She missed Xavier already.

As if on the cue, she turned to her right hearing some shuffling and her eyes widened looking at the person she so desperately wanted to see. She stood on the bed and jumped on him hugging him like a teddy bear.

Xavier called Blake yesterday and came to know that Daisy did not have anything and had been continuously shooting. He was so worried about her that he called her but when she didn't pick up, he personally came here and got breakfast with him.

"Babygirl, why did you miss your meals?", he scolded stroking her hairs while she clung to him like a baby monkey. "I was excited to work and then got tired", she pouted facing him. He patted her cheeks softly.

"Do you need me to always come to feed you here the rest of the time you shoot?", he asked in a concerned tone. She nodded childishly. He sighed and thought he really would have to get his helicopter every evening and come to see if she had her meals properly.

"Brush you teeth and come to have your breakfast", he said putting her down on the floor. Daisy nodded and rushed to the bathroom to brush her teeth then came out and sat on the chair of the two seater dining in her room.

Xavier sat next to her and fed her everything he brought for her. Daisy happily ate everything. "How was the first day?", Xavier asked even though he got the reports of everything that happened yesterday.

"It was good. I completed my part quickly. It was awesome. Everyone is so good to me. I love the cast. They helped me so much...", she talked all the good things about everyone but didn't tell him anything about the badmouthing she got from some people.

"Are you hiding something from me, babygirl?", he asked raising a brow at her. "You already know what happened so what's there to tell you? It would be waste of time so I told you the things you might not know", she shrugged to which he laughed a little.

"You are getting smarter day by day, my Babygirl", he said while caressing her hairs. She nodded and drank the juice.

After she was done with the breakfast, Daisy took shower and headed on set. Xavier accompanied her to the set for sometimes before he left for his work.

By the evening around 6, Xavier again came on the set. Everyone started working more sincerely under his supervision. Xavier kept his eyes on Daisy and the people around her. He looked ready to pounce on anyone who would try to hurt her.

Daisy came to her room to change for her upcoming shot which was a intimate scene. She wasn't sure how Xavier would react given how he acted the first time when she tried to go to other man.

Since everyone was working continuously since morning, they got an hour break before they resume the shoot. Daisy changed her clothes and put on the sole shirt she was supposed to wear for the scene.

"Is it the intimate scene?", Xavier asked sitting on the couch next to Daisy who was leaning against his shoulder. She nervously nodded. The movie was an action movie so there were not much romantic scenes.

This scene was the only one where the Male lead and Female lead spend night together after returning back to their house. It's after one of the thrilling scene where the male lead gets injured while fighting.

Xavier pulled her on top of him and she was now straddling him on top of him facing him. There was no one in the room as it was a break. Xavier suddenly captured her lips into a possessive kiss.

Daisy tried to catch the intensity of his kiss but he was too hard to catch on. He laid her on the couch and hovered over her then unbuttoned her shirt exposing her lacy white bra to him. Daisy moaned when he sucked the sensitive spot on her neck.

Xavier pulled her bra down revealing her breasts to him. He took one of her nipple into his mouth and sucked on it while playing with the other one. Daisy's toes curled due to intense pleasure she was getting.
