Tong Yi frowned and took another two steps to the side. Who was running away? She just didn't want to be so close to him.

Lu Zhanbei's lips curved into a playful smile. He took another two steps closer to her.

Tong Yi walked away again and turned to face Lu Zhanbei. "The police asked you to apologize to the person you injured and plead for reconciliation."

The smile at the corner of Lu Zhanbei's lips faded. His gaze turned to ice and there was a threatening look in his eyes. He said in a low voice, "I won't apologize."

Tong Yi felt that this Lu Zhanbei was a little difficult to deal with. He was calm just a minute ago but in the blink of an eye, he was filled with gloom and rage. His expression changed too quickly.

Lee Yuan said that the Lu Zhanbei in the game would be an accurate portrayal of Lu Zhanbei in real life. Their personalities were supposed to be the same.

However, from the looks of it, their personalities were completely different. What went wrong?

Suddenly, the space in front of him was empty. Lu Zhanbei frowned and retracted his hands that had been against the wall. He stuffed them into his pocket and walked towards the sofa. "I appreciate your kind intentions but I will not apologize."

Tong Yi pursed her lips and did not say anything. Her breathing was unstable and she was afraid that she would reveal her true feelings.

From the corner of her eye, she saw Lu Zhanbei return to his spot on the sofa. He casually crossed his overly long legs on the coffee table once again. His hands were back behind his head and he looked at her with an indifferent and idle look. It was as if he wasn't the one that had been in close contact with her just now.

This man was too carefree.

In comparison, Tong Yi felt that her willpower was too weak and got a bit upset.

She had wanted to save him but he did not seem to care at all and was proving uncooperative.

No matter how good her temperament was, she could not suppress the anger in her heart. "If you're not going to apologize, then just rot here!"

Lu Zhanbei glanced at Tong Yi lazily before closing his eyes. "Take care, I won't see you out."
