1 Prolong
A long time ago, in a faraway land there was a Kingdom that it was rule by a great King, a King that it was known as a dragon slayer, he kill more dragons that no one could, the Kingdom is safe from all dragons, until one day where four dragons, stronger than the rest of the other ones race to the Kingdom. They stood by the entrance, as the Kingdoms King stood in front of them, the gold scale beast got closer to the King and through mind link they bonded.
"I know what you have done to my kind. Listen to my warning, four humans will born to become ours to rule over your kind, be prepare because this will be the last of your ruling years" said the Gold scale dragon
With his warning, the four dragons left the Kingdom alone.
Years go by and the village near the Kingdom were attack by dragons, the King set to kill the beats, but he held on the ground by such a site, a woman in front of the beast, reaching out her hand to calm the creature, she look at him with fear of the Village and the people, she lightly push the dragons head away, telling the creature to leave, the dragon left the village alone and the King watch as the woman walk toward him. She kneels down, and then raises her head up, the King struck by her beauty reach out to cares her cheek.
"What is your name my Lady?" said the King gazing her blue eyes
"Diana Scarlet, your grace" answer Diana
The King and Diana fell in love at first sight and the King couldn't be happier than been with such a woman as her. Diana is a caring woman and very loved by the villagers, she has a kind heart and a gold soul.
Five years later, the King married Diana and they both rule over the Kingdom together, the dragons never bother to come back. The Queen gave birth to a baby boy, but in the process she dies, leaving the King and Prince alone in the world. The Prince grew up to be a great man; he hasn't the strength like his father, but a gold heart like his mother.
One day the prince went hunting with his friend and personal guard, when they stumble in front of two dragons, his friend was going to slice the beast, when the Prince stops him.
"What are you doing your highness?!" shouted the Prince friend
"Don't shoot it" said the Prince looking at the gold scale dragon, he got closer to the Dragon "Your magnificent"
The dragon eye the Prince as he answer him "You are the one, I've been waiting for"
The Prince jumps backwards, pointing at the dragon and looking at his friend "Did you hear that?!"
His friend look at him weird "Hear what?"
The dragon spoke again to the Prince "Don't bother asking him, you are the only one that can understand me and my kind. Listen well young one, your father had slaughter my kind far too long, and we must put a stop to him"
The prince lower his head in shame of the thought of his father slaughtering this dragons, he raise his head and beg to spare his family's life in exchange of his own, but the Dragon had something plan on him, he order the Prince to hold still and let him do the entire work, the Prince did as what the dragon said. The prince's friend left in a hurry afraid to see his best friend get eaten alive by such monster, the Dragon manage to bond with the Prince, now he will be able to make the King surrender otherwise, his son would die by the King's own hands.
Back in the Kingdom, the King sees the bunch of dragons, well the last four alive, he was about to attack then when they landed in front of the castle, the Bronze Dragon is known as Turk, his tamer's name is Giovanni, the King turn his head toward the Silver Dragon known as Silvia, and her tamer is a woman name Milagros, he sees the Black Dragon, which no one name him and he doesn't have a tamer, finally he sees the Golden Dragon that has a familiar young adult on his back, the Dragon is known as Oro, and his tamer is none other than his son the Prince Divan. Due to remember Oro's warning he realize that these creatures would rule over the world as long as the bond between them and the tamers are in deep connection, witch none of them are, the King fought bravely, to free his son from the clutches of the beast, but his father manage to kill the only thing that matters to him most, his own son got in his way, with his dying breath he spoke to his father.
"No...more...Dragon....slaying..." the prince said as he draws his last breath
Dead in the hands of his father, Oro approach him "I did warn you, now you have lost what is left in your legacy, now is the time for you to live with the thought that you kill your own son, that try to protect us from the very man that end most of our kind, live with the guilt and own it"
The King stood up and glare at the beast "I will leave a legacy and that I promise that they will hunt you and your last kind for all eternity and head my word Dragon, I will make sure that your kind never would see the light of the day! One day, that is a promise!"
That is how an ice Cold War between the humans and Dragons came to be, but now year after years of trying and fighting the Dragons hid themselves, in places where no one could ever find them. Centuries past and the war continue on, but now is a dead end to most Dragon hunters.
In the beginning of the 21st century, a five year old girl is walking to the forest behind her house, she has a special spot near a cherry blossom tree, once she got there, she sees a giant Black lizard near it, she sees the creature carefully and notice that he is hurt, the Black lizard sees her and growls at her, she raise her hands making the book fall in the ground.
"Who are you and what do you want?!" growls the lizard
The girl pick up her book never releasing her stare at the creature "I'm sorry, I just want to be on my reading spot and read my book" she pointed at the tree
The creature follows her finger, then glance back at her "Do you understand me?" ask the creature
The little girl nods her head, the creature let her pass, with a big smile on her face, she ran toward her spot and got cozy on the roots of the tree, and she opens the book and started to read. The creature notice that she is trying hard to understand some words, he got closer and provides her some assistance. The girl stated to come around the same spot and the creature would always be there waiting for her. Five more years pass and the girl is reading in a new sport, on top of the creature as he sleeps, the girl lower her book and spoke to the creature.
"Hey! I never caught your name?" ask the girl
"I have no name" answer the creature
The girl jumps and walks in front of him "That is not right, everyone has a name"
"Alright, then tell me, what is your name?" Ask the creature
"My name is Scarlet Hope Walker. So what do they call you?" answer and ask Scarlet
The creature sighs "I am call by many names, but the most common one is Black Dragon"
"Well you are an amazing Dragon and a very good friend, beside the fact that you like dark places" then it hit her like a brick "That's it!"
The Black Dragon shows confusion and curious on the child, she points her finger at him and calls out at him.
"Dark, that could be your name, Dark Black" she said with a smile on her face
The Black Dragon never felt this way before, he nave had a tamer, and now he realize that this innocent child it's his tamer, he was about to speak when he heard a woman calling out for Scarlet, she bid her good byes to Dark and left to her mother.
Five more years pass, and Scarlet is now a 15 year old teenager, that goes to college and study hard to become a Forensic Scientist, she was walking toward Dark's spot when she sees some men in her property, she call out to them and she notice that they have big tooth on their necks, she realize that those look like Dark's teeth's, she figure out that they are hunters and their hunting her friend. She throw her book that hit one of the hunter's head knocking him down, leaving one going after her. Dark hears her cries when a metallic smell hit his nostrils, he took a peak where he was hiding and sees that one of the hunters, made a gruesome long slash on Scarlet's back, making her bleed to her death, he finds his tamer and he is not going to let some hunters kill her, he came out of his hiding place and shock the hunters, burning them with his lightning breathing bolt, he gets closer to Scarlet's body that is getting cold, he knows that she is alive, but getting closer to deaths door steps.
"You are not going to make it Scarlet" said Dark with concern in his Purple catlike eyes
"At least I try to get them away from you" she said more like a whisper
"There is a way for you to live, but it comes with a price, are you willing accept this Scarlet. I am saying that I'm going to bound you with me for all eternity and you will become unstoppable" explain Dark to Scarlet
Scarlet nods her head, the Black Dragon, made a the trade and let his power save her, then the mark of the Black Dragon appears on her right rib cage, making her as the new generation of the Dragons, Scarlet Hope Walker had just became the New Black Dragon.
