40 The Beat up of an Unruly Maid

Crushing pressure descended on the black-haired girl's shoulders making her eyes widen to a huge degree before she was forced to drop to her knees.

"When you are in front of royalty you bow. Or your parents didn't teach you the basics of etiquette?" Xue Long asked her as he walked over to the kneeling girl.

Sweat was pouring down her forehead as she could not fight back this guy!

'J-Just how strong is he!? He is younger than me!!!' She tried hard to resist but eventually, she could not muster any more strength!

"My Prince! Please! Xiao Wu only wished to face the maid who beat her in the spirit arena!" The guy said from the side as he saw how his sister can't fight back against this force and most likely will pass out in just a few moments!

"Hoh? That's it? There are official channels where one can challenge one. There is no need to make a scene and embarrass yourself like this." Xue Long said that as he slowly lowered his pressure on her.

"Yes…but… she is not that patient…"

"Her personality issues are not my problem." As he said that he recalled his pressure and looked down at the girl who gnashed her teeth seeing how the prince was looking down on her.

"Give me another chance against that maid! I will beat her this time!"

The first thing she said was that which made Xue Long interested… how arrogant is she!? This is no longer just pure arrogance but stupidity!

"And what do I get for allowing such a thing?" The Crown Prince said with raised eyebrow.

So this random intrusion is quite annoying for him. 

However, he wants to teach this girl a lesson. To crush this over-the-top baseless arrogance.

"Shut up! Wushuang! I will get my dues! I can't simply accept being beaten by some girl with a broom!" The girl with an extremely angry tone said to her brother.

"Fine. Here is the deal. You get your fight. But this is not a normal fight. If you win I will go to your Blazing Academy and create a martial field just like the one I have here." 

This made the girl forget about the fight and look at him with wide eyes. That's a huge thing he is offering!

While her brother gulped down nervously because he knew there is another side of this coin!

"I won't going to lose!" She said with blind confidence which made her brother even more afraid of what is going to happen.

She agreed without even hearing what he said. And he can say anything he wants.

"Indeed. You going to win. However, for the legitimacy of this fight. If you somehow going to lose. You are going to join my maid initiative. I am going to train you really, really hard." Xue Long 'agreed' that she is going to win. There was that slight mocking smile on his lips. 

"...Sure. This doesn't sound so bad." She easily agreed, again. After hearing the offer. Being Prince maid? Allowing him to train her? This sounds quite good. As someone who heard about maids and how good the peak ones are. There is no way she wouldn't want to be one of his maids. Though her vision is quite glossed over because she has no idea how hard the training schedule and work regime is of these maids…

Prince walked into the martial field he found his maids practising he called out the one who was practising with the broom.

"Ming'er I need you to fight one battle for me." As he said that the maid instantly stopped what she was doing and did a respectful bow towards him before talking.

"As you wish. Who is my opponent?" She asked curiously, the prince pointed at the two people behind him.

The two were looking at everything with wide eyes. They can sense how thick the air is with Spirit Energy! The leaves of the trees are extremely vivid so is the grass. One could see that there are a multitude of Spirit Beasts in the vicinity as well. These are beasts which are owned by noble children who are attending the academy.

"Huo Wu from Blazing Academy. You fought her before."

"Oh, the fire girl." The maid said that with realising nod. She wasn't shocked, impressed or even bothered by it. To her, it was another day to serve her Prince.

"Yes. Now follow me we are going to the arena." He motioned to follow him. 

And then they did… majority of Martial Field did, everyone wanted to see this. 

This is the first time someone from a different academy so boldly demanded a match. Especially that the prince himself is going to see to it.

This could mean quite a few things. The nobles with their scheming mindsets are seeing this as the Prince making a move on other academies since they can't imagine him allowing this to pass without any sort of consequences.

Even more so when his maids are involved. He is extremely protective of them. Though he is ruthless with them and their training as well. Like a hard-handing trainer who is proud of what they achieved.

A few minutes later the pair were on the arena grounds and facing each other.

"This time I am ready for your tricks!" The fiery girl said as she put her gloves on.

"Tricks? What tricks?" The maid said with a confused tone before taking her stance… with a broom.

However, the way she was holding the broom is closely reminiscing how a warrior holds a polearm. 

The confusion only made Huo Wu more annoyed. Instead of talking banter, she is going to destroy this girl!

"Spirit Masters you have a minute to summon your spirits." The referee which came out from somewhere told the pair who slowly nodded at watched each other. 

"Begin"

Huo Wu's three rings manifested behind her, they were a classic configuration of two yellow and one purple. 

Her first one glowed and fireballs appeared behind her and she started raining them down.

'This girl… she is using the very same way to attack as before…'. The maid thought with a frown before starting to run forward towards the fire-throwing girl.

The older girl smirked and made her third ring glow which caused rings of flames with her as centre to manifest around her. Sending waves of flames in all directions.

'So you did change the sequences of how you use these abilities. However, you are limited to three fire powers. Which I know all of them.' 

With a spin, the maid who knew that this ability has no actual burning damage but pushing one, Ming'er used her broom to launch herself over the rings and into the fire girl.

"W-Wha—" 

"Your weakness is your close range and that is my strength." As the maid said she swung the broomstick into Huo Wu's stomach like a spear.

This made the girl cough hard as she felt like air was pulled out from her lungs. Following after were several smacking attacks which made the fire girl experience the broom brush smashing into her face…several times.

Before long she was made to trip over, ending up dropping on her ass with a broom pointing at the fire girl.

"Surrender?"

"N-No…impossible!" Huo Wu exploded with a fire aura which caused Ming'er to jump back with a flip, to take some distance.

"My Prince?" The maid was slightly confused about what to do. This girl is unreasonable and has no sportsmanship, a sore loser.

"Beat her up to the point that she sees that she can't win." He said that with a dull look. It's time for his maid to show this girl her place.

"Understood."

Sure enough. The maid started systematically destroying Huo Wu who got smacked around several times from different angles before a powerful smack send her flying to the side of the arena.

With a hard flip, the fire girl landed on the ground with one foot kneeling. She was breathing deeply as the amount of Spirit energy she had was extremely low amount.

"You… and your tricks! You can take a direct attack from me!?"

"Base principle of fighting is to dodge attack and then counter-attack with your own. What they are teaching you in your academy?" The maid asked with another confused look.

"...You… I dare you to take one of my attacks!!!"

"Why?"

"Ming'er just entertain her. Show the difference." Xue Long said that with a sigh.

"Understood." The maid dropped her 'weapon'. And motioned for the fire girl to attack her.

Sure enough, pissed off Huo Wu's fire shadow launched multiple fireballs which were taken directly by the maid.

As smoke settled down the older girl took several steps back as she saw the maid was completely unharmed as a golden diamond aura surrounded her.

There was a monk with Diamond-like skin surrounding Ming'er.

"Deva Monk, Diamond Defense. Is one of several Martial Avatar abilities I have developed and taught my maids." Xue Long said with crossed arms as he was pretty sure he finally got the message over.

"T-This… is…Impossible! I wouldn't have lost if your maid wasn't trained by you!"

*Snort*

"Now you're just being petty and pathetic. Ming'er wouldn't be here if not for me train her. You wouldn't have even fought her if I didn't train her." The Crown Prince said that with an eye roll.

He is pretty sure some of the people have noticed that when he started less than half maids of his had Spirit Energy now more than 70% have spirit energy. 

Not long until they going to realise that he can turn them into spirit masters like his Ming'er.

*Tsk*

"I want another rematch!" 

"You will get one when you start my training. You will experience tons of defeats before you break down. And then I will rebuild you in my image." As Xue Long said that he appeared in the arena and was standing in front of Huo Wu who had wide eyes as she could not even follow his move!

"Do you agree that you lost?" 

"...I…" She wanted to say no… but the prince's gaze made her squirm under it!

"...Fine! I lost! I accept the defeat! Happy now!?" 

Sure enough, Huo Wu ended up under crushing pressure once again as more maids arrived in the arena.

"Is this the way to talk to your prince?" A pair of maids appeared on both sides of the prince. The gold and silver duo has arrived as they were emitting crushing pressure with their cultivation bases.

"You two take her and begin the rebuilding process. I need to speak with her brother."

"Understood. Leave her to us, my prince." Hu Liena said that with a small smirk on her lips. There is a certain sadistic glint in her eyes.

Huo Wu didn't understand what just happened as she was taken away by several rows of maids who appeared from somewhere. Before long she was taken away, leaving behind an extremely nervous-looking Huo Wushuang.

"...My prince… W-What will happen to—"

"She will be retrained to be one of my maids. You should not worry. There is no permanent harm to her if this is what you worry."

"I-I-I see… she is—"

"She is now part of my academy and my faction. You should tell your dean and principal that they should watch over his students more closely." 

*Sigh*

"I will tell him that. I am sure… he will come to visit you."

"I will wait for his visit. Now if you excuse me. I need an unruly maid to train."
