Class/Rank/Grade Guide

Note: All contemporary classes are referred to by their level, such as a Level 1 Warrior, Level 5 Rogue, and so on.

Note: Personal titles, such as nicknames from heroic acts, are exempt and not considered as ranks.

Note: Professions are not considered classes for those who have already received a contemporary class, as they are considered sub-classes for such people. A Blacksmith who has never accepted a contemporary class has the class of Blacksmith, but a Warrior who also does blacksmithing would not have said class.

Contemporary Classes:

___

<Known Subclasses>

-Assassin

-Ranger (stealth, ambush, guerilla, greater prowess with obstacles and cover)

-Assassin King (pinnacle of the Assassin subclass)

___

[Priest]

The highest-ranking Priest of each church is considered the Pope, while the 12 beneath the Pope are the Cardinals. Beneath the Cardinals are 24 Archbishops, followed by 100 Bishops. Deacons follow beneath the Bishops, but there is no known limit for holders of that title. All Priests are generally referred to as 'brother/sister' by their fellows, and only those of higher ranking have their title preceding their name. The reverse is true for those of higher standing: the Pope may refer to all others as 'brother/sister', but no one can refer to the Pope as the same.

(Rank/Level: Rank is subject to change based on individual specialization and status among respective churches.)

___

[Mage]

Mages that are considered to be the best of their respective elemental specialization, as determined by the Mage Guild, Adventurers Guild and influential organizations, are referred to as Archmage, of which there are only 16 in total. Those capable of using all elements, infinitely rare as they are, are referred to as Universal Mages, and a mage capable of being considered an Archmage while also being a Universal Mage is granted the unique and unparalleled title of Mage King, a title comparable to that of the Pope.

(Rank/Level: Rank is subject to change based on individual specialization, i.e. Level 1 Fire Mage, level 10 Water Mage. Mages specializing in multiple elements are referred to based on their number of elements, i.e. Dual-Elemental Mage, Quad-Elemental Mage.)

Restricted Classes:

___

[Druid]

A very rare kind of magic user that specializes in various nature-related abilities at the cost of being unable to use the abilities and spells of the mage class. Using their abilities to interact with nature, Druids learn to follow a particular school of thought, usually one of three. Beastmaster Druids form bonds with various magical creatures limited only by their own abilities to assist them, much like the familiar of a mage, but with more than one. Spiritual Druids communicate with the spirits of the natural elements and ask them for aid in whatever situation they find themselves in, from healing to weather phenomenons. Weredruids also form bonds with various magical creatures, learning to take on their shape and abilities at will, though learning a new shape can come at the cost of the magical creature's life. (Note: The only Andorian race that can become a druid is a High Elf, due to their exceptionally high magical synergy. Druids are thought to be one of the few creations of the Ancient Elves that continues to live on. A single exception appears due to the intervention of Yggdrasil in the later story.)

Class Grades from highest-to-lowest:

[Druid Saint] (Note: has only ever appeared once)

[Elder Druid]

[High Druid]

[Druid Adept]

[Druid]

[Druid Apprentice]

___

[Paladin]

One of the first known dual classes to be discovered, the Paladin is envisioned as a holy or divine warrior. To become one, one must be among the 2% of living beings capable of having two classes simultaneously. An extremely difficult path to master, a Paladin brings the healing and anti-undead/anti-demon capabilities of a Priest together with the combat prowess of a Warrior, making them one of the most feared and revered classes in existence.

___

[Blood Mage]

As a result of their evolution, the Blood Elves have their own unique, innate form of magic known as Blood Magic. A Blood Elf mage who uses this magic as their primary ability is called a Blood Mage, though some exceptions, such as dual-mastery classes, do exist. Due to the horrifying capabilities of Blood Magic depending on its usages, it is often considered to be the most terrifying unique magic type known.

___

[Martial God]

A unique class that appears only when one has completely mastered all styles of physical combat to their extremes. As such, this class has only appeared one time after its original bearer, the Warrior Sage Alexander, first spread his contemporary class and following his death in the Heroic Era war. Its only heir, Atlaros Uvelthyn, rose to the title shortly before his teacher's demise, ascending to Pseudo-Sage status and carving his name into the annals of history with his vicious, suicidal combat style.

____

[Dreamwalker]

A one-of-a-kind class belonging entirely to the High Elf Pseudo-Sage Norani Llahalor bearing its title, it is considered a hybrid of the contemporary Mage class and the divine magic of Mnemosyne, the Goddess of Memory. As dreams can only show what has been stored in one's memory, Mnemosyne also controls dreams. Through Mnemosyne's blessing and her overwhelming magical talent, Norani can not only read minds but can read an entire person's history by synchronizing with the world and backtracking them through the world's memory. Her spells can perform all manner of memory-based abilities, but its most fearsome ability is how it can blur the line between reality and dream, manifesting fantastic or nightmarish creations to wreak havoc on her foes.

Demonic Ranks (Limit, Level Requirement)

___

Demonic ranks are similar to those of the church rankings, having limits to certain ranks and none to others. The greatest difference, however, is that demonic ranks are based entirely on level and power rather than their capabilities with their respective divinities' powers. A Pope does not need to be the one with the highest level, only the one with the best abilities, while the highest-ranking demon must have both.

[Demon Emperor] (1x, Level 25+)

[Demon King] (4x, Level 21-24)

[Demon Lord] (48x, Level 15-20)

[Demon Knight] (2400x, Level 11-14)

[Greater Demon] (No limit, Level 8-10)

[Demon] (No limit, Level 4-7)

[Lesser Demon] (No limit, Level 0-3)
