SpideyNova What if: The Prank

Disclaimer: I don't own the ultimate spider-man or these characters.

Summary: What if Whitetiger also known as Ava Ayala saw that they needed spider-man, but did not like the fact that she lost the bet and had to do all that cleaning. What if she was getting really annoyed with Nova aka Sam Alexander's complaining and constant arguing with Spider-man aka Peter Parker. What if she decides to pull a prank and gets a chance when she overhears Peter freaking out that Sam is at his table talking to MJ. Craziness and Spideynova ensues. I am not going to write every episode, in fact, this will mostly take place in school, home, and the helicarrier and only a little fighting. I did change and add some facts, but that's the fun of a fanfic.

Chapter 1

Ava P.O.V:

I can't believe that I lost that bet, I mean I know that we need him on our team but seriously I have to clean toilets because of him. We also have to go to his school that is kind of a plus though it is better than S.H.E.I.L.D "homeschooling". What does not help is that Nova and him refuse to get along. Nova's whining is already getting on my nerves this is just putting me over the top. I need a way to get back at them without getting myself in trouble. I know I will prank them and say it is my way of inviting him into the team and by pranking Sam it shows that it is true. Now all I need to figure out is what prank should I should do, I know I could post embarrassing photos of them, but they'd most likely be in costume and the whole secret identity thing. Hmm, this is going to take some thought and our third day of school is tomorrow I should get ready for bed.

THE NEXT DAY-

I woke up got all my stuff together and ate something I was going over my homework when the rest of the team, Sam, Daniel, and Luke, came in. Sam was the only one who was not in school attire and still in his pajamas. "Come on bucket head you will be late for school if you don't get dressed now and don't you think for even a second I am going to wait for you," I said barely looking up from my homework. He sputters,"Ohh come on stupid Peter Parker giving me that stupid nickname. Show some respect for your fearless leader." Luke broke in,"First of all you are not our leader Spidey is and second Ava is right you have to get dress." He grumbles fine and then leaves us alone. The rest of the day went like my first two days. We all had homeroom together and Peter and I were in almost all the same classes. We had homeroom, AP English, AP Algebra, and AP Chemistry together. We also had Spanish and P.E. together with everyone else. The weird thing was we didn't have Ap history together I guess that is just another thing I am better than Parker at. Only a 90 percent average how embracing. Soon it was lunch and Luke, Daniel, and I were all respecting Parkers "me" time and were eating a separate table while Sam, of course, ignored that and sat at his table with his friends. Parker came over and started to freak out that Sam was at his table. The redhead girl spoke up I think her name was Mary Jane or MJ for short, "What's your problem, Peter? Sam was not bothering us so why don't you want him to sit with us." I smiled a light bulb going on above my head. Before Peter or Sam could say anything I stepped in,"Are you serious you don't know? I guess Peter never told you." Peter's other friend Henry I think, no ,his name is Harry definitely Harry. Harry spoke up," What is she talking about Pete who is she?" Peter gulped and looked around wildly like he hoped a super villain would break through a wall and attack him. I looked over at Henry,"Hi I am Ava Ayala I am new here. I am..... Sam's.....Step-sister." Seriously Step-sister that was the best I could come up with. "Okay and how does have anything to do with you, Peter?" He was looking at Peter who spoke up, "Well umm.... I think it is best if you tell them, Ava." I smiled knowing I got what I wanted. Sam instantly recognized this smile and before he could protest I spoke up, "Sam is Peter's ex-boyfriend." "WHAT!" Harry and MJ screamed at the same time. "Sam is Peter's ex-boyfriend." This time I said it louder. What I did not realize was that everyone in the cafeteria was listening to us and as soon as I was done speaking members began to break out through the cafeteria. Flash Thomson jumped up on the table, "I always knew you were a fairy Parker!" Oops did not mean for the whole school to hear it. Peter and Sam were giving me shocked looks, Henry and MJ were looking at Peter, and Luke and Danny were cracking up laughing.

Peter P.O.V:

I woke up still in my spidey suit. A long night of saving the people of New York city I better get changed before Aunt May comes in to try and wake me up.I got dressed, ate a little something, and ran to catch the bus. I almost made it this time, but Flash Thomson shoved me into an alley and I missed the bus. Luckily my best friend Harry Osborn came in his private limo and picked me up. Isn't this guy the greatest. I mean it is nice to know with everything changing: the whole me working for S.H.I.E.L.D, becoming the leader of a team who also goes to my school, and Agent Coulson becoming my principle some things never change. "It is like you have something about being on time," Harry said as he opened the door. "It's not me it is Flash Thomson." Harry looked up at me, "You really shouldn't let that guy push you around" "I don't mind Harry. He has done it his whole life he isn't going to stop now." Harry dropped it, but I could see he wanted to continue. I hated to do this to Harry it felt like I was lying to him. If I really wanted to I could beat up Flash without breaking a sweat after all I am the super amazing soon to be ultimate superhero known as Spider-man. It is not like I can tell Harry that and if I beat up Flash I would be no better than him. With great power comes great responsibility. We start talking about different things on our ride to school. When we got to school we went to class. I had homeroom with my two best friends MJ and Harry, but I also had it with all of my new teammates. I mean from what I could tell they weren't bad well except Captin Bucket-head I just want to wipe off that grin off his face. I mean it was just so aggravating, irritating, stupid, and cute. Wait cute. I did not describe Sam Alexander as cute...did I? Anyways most of my classes were fine besides homeroom, Spanish, and P.E. we did not all share the same classes. I did have Ava, MJ, and Danny in AP English and just Ava in AP Algebra, and AP Chemistry together. That was all fine until history.

History is my only class that Harry. Not any of my teammates were there maybe I got a class to myself. I sat next to Harry and we talked to each other until the bell rang. The teacher called our attention,"I would like to introduce a new student. Some of you may have seen him in and out of class he has been here for three days and yet even though his first day landed on the same day we have this class he along with another student were not here." The teacher was looking straight at me and I sunk into my seat. Flash and his friends started to laugh and Harry gave me a weird look. "Well that was the past this is the present so class try and give a warm welcome to Sam Alexander" He went over to the door and opened it. Sam walked in and I jumped up so fast that I almost fell out of my seat. I got some weird looks, but all I could pay attention to was Sam standing in the front of the room. He seemed confused to see me here too. Sam seemed to forget where he was,"What are you doing here we- Peter aren't you supposed to be smart?" I sighed now I had to act like I knew him fine, but if anyone asks I will redirect their questions, "You know Sam, History is not my strong suit." My teeth hurt from clenching them so hard. All eyes seemed to be on us. "Ok boys as entertaining the class must think this is I think it is time to start class" Sam went to sit in the only open seat behind Harry."Hold on Mr.Alexander. I am under direct orders from Principle Coulson that you and Mr. Parker be partners something about you two needing to work together." Flash called out"Oooh Parker got the principle to let him work with his booyfriend" Blush crept our faces and we screamed,"WE ARE NOT DATING!" Flash gave us a look,"I don't know? I was just joking at first, but you guys got really defensive. Maybe you are a fairy Parker." "Ok everyone quiet down, and Mr. Thomson that is a very offensive term and if I hear you use it again you will get a detention. Now Mr.Osborne you take the open seat and Mr.Alexander you take his old seat." Harry gave me a weird look as he moved, but I wouldn't make eye contact. Class went on as normal and luckily we did not have to work with partners. I did not talk to bucket-head the rest of the class. When class ended I grabbed my stuff and rushed out of the classroom. Harry caught up with me, "Hey Pete what was that in there? How do you know that kid? Pete where are you going?" I stopped speed walking and turned,"That was Sam Alexander. It is a long story, pay no attention to him. Right now I have to go see a teacher just go wait for me at our table." Harry was reluctant, but he left. I went straight to Principle Coulson's office or should I say, secret S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Coulson."What were you thinking having the teacher pair us up? I have my friend asking questions I do not have the answer to and now I have the most annoying partner in the world." Agent Coulson did not even look up from his paperwork, "Calm down Paker I am sure you guys can come up with something to use as a cover. And for the second thing, you just proved why I had to do this. You and Sam do not get along and we can not have that because if Sam and Peter don't get along then Nova and Spider-man won't get along. How are you supposed to be teammates if you guys are constantly bickering?" "I guess I understand, but I do not like it."

I left his office to him muttering something about toilet paper prices. I should just calm down it is just one class I at least have lunch at my table with my friends to myself. Oh no. I can not believe it. Sam is sitting at my table taking to M.J. my best friend. "What are you doing sitting at my table talking to my friends?!" Sam looked up, "It is a free country Parker I can sit where I want and talk to who I want to." M.J. and Harry were giving me weird looks, but all I could focus on was Sam. "Nope, not happening you need to leave like right now." The cafeteria had become silent and now everyone was listening in on us.M.J stood up,"What's your problem, Peter? Sam was not bothering us so why don't you want him to sit with us." Before I could answer Ava stepped in,"Are you serious you don't know? I guess Peter never told you." Harry spoke up," What is she talking about Pete who is she?" I gulped and looked around wildly. I wish a super villain would break through a wall and attack me. I have no idea what to say I need a good lie.

It is time for the wheel of excuses: He killed my parent(no that won't work) He is best friends with Dr.Doom(Nope not that either) He ate my last pudding cup when we were saving the world (When has this been any help)

Luckily Ava stepped, "Hi I am Ava Ayala I am new here. I am..... Sam's.....Step-sister." Step-sister that was a good lie especially for being on the spot I can tell why she is the smart one. Harry still looked puzzled, "Okay and how does have anything to do with you, Peter?" He was looking at me what do I do, "Well umm.... " Ava is smart she got us this far she can take us home, "I think it is best if you tell them, Ava." She smiled and my spidey senses went off. Sam instantly flinched and I got a bad feeling. Before he could protest she spoke up, "Sam is Peter's ex-boyfriend." Sam and my jaws dropped. "WHAT!" Harry and MJ screamed at the same time. "Sam is Peter's ex-boyfriend." This time she said it louder. Everyone was already listening to us before and whoever did not hear it the first time definitely heard it the second time. As soon as she was done speaking members began to break out through the cafeteria. Flash Thomson jumped up on the table, "I always knew you were a fairy Parker!" I looked around the cafeteria Sam was giving the same shocked look as I was, Henry and MJ were looking at me with disbelief, and Luke and Danny were cracking up laughing. What was I going to do now? The whole school including my two best friends thought I went out with Captin Bucket-head himself. Like I would ever go out with Nova no matter how cute he is. Oooh, and I am not gay.

Sam P.O.V:

Things were not going my way. First, we got a new teammate that is now our team leader. We don't even know him. The team leader should be someone we know someone like me. Sure we need some life experience, but at least we work well together. Spider-man or Peter Parker as I should get used to calling him since we have to go to his school now. There goes sleeping in thanks a lot, web-head. I don't care how cute he is under that mask no one messes with my sleep time. Wait he is not cute. He is so far from cute. He is a guy and I do not like guys sure I have liked a girl, but I a superhero it is to complicated. Yah that's why I have never had a girlfriend. Definitely the reason. I should get to bed I have to wake up early tomorrow.

THE NEXT DAY-

I woke up got all my stuff together for school. I tried to put my helmet in my backpack, but it would not fit. I spent a while trying to find where to put my helmet. I flipped it to see if there was any way to fix it. On the inside a saw something that made me feel so stupid. There was a red button with the words minimize next to it. I pushed it and it shrank. After that, I slipped it into my pocket and went downstairs."Come on bucket head you will be late for school if you don't get dressed now and don't you think for even a second I am going to wait for you," Ava said barely looking up from her homework. Shoot I forgot to get dressed I sputtered, "Ohh come on stupid Peter Parker giving me that stupid nickname. Show some respect for your fearless leader." We all had homeroom together and Peter and I were in almost none of the same classes. We didn't have English, Algebra, and Chemistry together. He must have been in the super smart classes. We had Spanish and P.E. together with everyone else though. I was feeling great about this until history class.

I had missed history on my first day of school and I had come to the class early so he wouldn't have a bad impression of me. Little did that do we still ended up on a walk to Coulson's office go. They talked for a while not sure what, but when we got back to his class he told me to wait outside until he called me in. He did some talking I couldn't hear what he was saying but he probably the only teaches who still does this type of punishment. Death by embarrassment, I mean who still introduces the new student. It is not like I need to or have anyone to talk to Ava is in AP History plus Danny and Luke aren't taking History this year. I am fine sitting in the back of the class not talking to anyone. All of a sudden the door opened and I stepped in. I was greeted with a sight that confused me. Peter Parker was sitting on the front left side corner of the class with his BFF Harry. He seems confused to see me here too. I forgot where I was momentary,"What are you doing here we- Peter aren't you supposed to be smart?" Ooh my goodness, I almost called him web-head in front of everyone. I sighed now I had to act like I knew him fine, but if anyone asks I will redirect their questions. The lunch bell rang and Peter rushed out of the class Harry soon followed. I got my stuff and left before anyone could talk to me. I got to the cafeteria and saw the red bead girl from math class. "Hey Marry can I sit here" she looked up, "Of course Sam. So how are you liking school so far" I smiles and sat down, " it is definitely weird? I have been homeschooled my whole life so this is a new experience for me Marry." "Please Sam, no one calls me Marry. Call me M...." Just than Harry sat down and the dots started to connect. "Your M.J also known as Marry Jane Wattson. Your Peter's friend. I should leave. Goodbye it was nice to meet you two." M.J grabbed my hand and stopped me, "What going on Sam why do you have to leave? How do you know Pete?" Harry was looking at me weird, "How do you know Pete? First history and now this what's going on?" I do respect Parker's need for me time, but I can not just leave without an explanation. "Uhh that is a complicated and I think it is best if you get the story from Peter." I will have him deal with it. "What happened in history? And don't worry Sam I will ask him and get the truth. I am going to be a reporter for The Daily Bugle one day" Harry explained the awkward History class and I could see that M.J wanted ask some questions. Before she could ask Peter came over to the table, "What are you doing sitting at my table talking to my friends?!" I got really defensive. Who was he to tell where I could or couldn't sit at, "It is a free country Parker I can sit where I want and talk to who I want to." M.J. and Harry were giving us weird looks, but all I could focus on was Peter. Peter ignored them to,"Nope, not happening you need to leave like right now." She smiled I flinched and I knew that smile she was planning something evil. Before I could protest she spoke up, "Sam is Peter's ex-boyfriend." Peter and my jaws dropped. "WHAT!" Harry and MJ screamed at the same time. "Sam is Peter's ex-boyfriend." This time she said it louder. Everyone was already listening to us before and whoever did not hear it the first time definitely heard it the second time. A.N. First chapter done. Not all of my chapters will have the P.O.V of all the main characters just this one because it was an important chapter.
