Arrival

Johnny opens Val's tank as she wakes up and stands.

"Oh my, what happened?" she asked.

"It's genesis," he answered.

"What? How?" she asked.

"I don't know but get ready," he said.

Johnny goes to his wheel and suddenly the door opens. Five armed red armored astronauts appear.

"Freeze!" they said.

Johnny and Val put up their hands as an enemy named Yuri reveals herself with brunette hair.

"Don't move," - she points her gun at Johnny.

"Come with us," she said.

Johnny and Val look at each other and Johnny nods. He walks out with Val following him and the enemy walks out with them, closing the door.

In Genesis' ship, Johnny's face gets punched while he's hand-cuffed to a metal pole.

"This would stop if you just tell us what the code is to the hatch," Yuri said.

He sees Yuri wearing a short dress, sitting on her chair with her soldiers at her side. His crew is on the side, hand-cuffed and gagged.

"Fine," Yuri said.

A buffed Soldier continues to beat up Johnny.

"This is getting boring," Yuri said. "Bring the girl here."

Johnny looks away helplessly as Val cries. Yuri looks at Johnny and smirks.

"How about if I kill her right now, huh?" Yuri asked.

"No!" Johnny shouted.

Yuri stomps on Val's fingers and Val shouts. Yuri pulls on her hair hard as Val screams in agony. She sees Val's nails looking pretty.

"Oh how pretty," Yuri said. "Let's cut those off, shall we?"

"No, please!" Johnny shouted.

"What's that? You suddenly remembered the code?" She asked.

Yuri signals one of her soldiers as he uncuffs her and the others holding her down. He puts on the thumbscrew on her fingers. Gently screwing it in as Val screams in agony as she's still gagged. Val closed her eyes, Yuri looks at Johnny as he looks away. Val is seeing flashbacks of her memory as a child playing the piano.

"You are an excellent pianist Val, I wish you could join me on Mars soon," Val's father said in her flashback.

Yuri smirks.

"No?" Yuri asked. "Fine, cut it."

The soldier twists it harshly as they cut her fingers off. Val screams more and cries intensely.

"Go to the other hand," Yuri commanded.

"No! Please take mine! Spare them please!" Johnny pleaded.

Val is cold on the floor, feeling dead inside. Yuri talks down on Johnny.

"Only if you give us the code," she said.

Johnny shakes his head in discomfort as his face turns sad. Yuri pulls up Val's head by her hair again, but this time she looks dead but still alive.

"It seems she's given up," Yuri said.

Yuri signals her soldier as he pushed out Val's fingers on her other hand. Val flinches and flips out like a fish on land on the metal floors of the ship.

"You really won't tell?" Yuri asks Johnny.

Yuri takes a seat in her chair again.

"Send them out in space, we can't use them," she ordered.

The soldiers drag them out as they leave George alone and when the hatch almost closes Yuri approaches George.

"You..." she said as the hatch closes.

Val and Johnny get tossed out into space.

"So this is the end..." his thoughts.

The endless vacuum takes their life while their skin turns pale and blue from the cold. Various flashbacks of their entire lives feed into his mind fast as a blink of light shines into it all.

In the carrier ship tank, Johnny wakes up again.
