4 Chapter 4
After a brief catch up, Mark and Shadow Spider-Man were invited into the house together by Aunt May.
As soon as they entered the house, a sense was immediately touched in both of their heads.
"This feeling..." Mark's eyes wandered around the room for a moment before quickly settling on the three "people" in the room.
A little girl in a plaid dress, a red robot with four legs, and a pig, to be exact?
"Hi, my name is Peni Parker," the little girl greeted with a wave, followed by the red robot sitting on the floor behind her.
The pig stood up with a start and trotted over to the two of them, tilting a pig snout while holding out his hand, "Hello, I'm Peter Porker."
Mark stared at the three of them, "Wait! You guys aren't also"
Buzz~
"Well needless to say," Mark waved his hand.
The spider senses all moved, so apparently the beings in front of them, all with names similar to Peter Parker, were all Spider-Men.
And, definitely Spider-Man from a different universe.
"Ah shit. What the hell is going on in this universe, how did so many Spider-Men appear?" Mark sat slumped on the couch with a lifeless look on his face.
According to his logical analysis from watching multiple Spider-Man and other superhero productions, if one Spider-Man corresponds to one point of danger, then two would be three, three would be nine, and four would be . It goes up exponentially.
And by extension, when a nest of Spider-Men get together, that should trigger a major disaster that would sweep the multiverse!
Shadow Spider-Man and Mark had come all this way and the two had become quite familiar with each other.
So seeing this he went to sit down next to Mark and patted him on the shoulder, "Hey, relax mate, we're Spider-Man."
"You guys are Spider-Man, I'm just a regular guy who just got bitten by a spider," Mark retorted with a tired look.
"Huh? Did you just get bit by a spider?" The little girl, Peni, bounced over to Mark and looked at him curiously.
"Uh, yeah~" Mark nodded.
"What would you like to drink, children?" Aunt May looked at the room of small spider-men and a gentle smile appeared on her face.
Although none of these little spiders were her Peter, they all shared Peter's feelings and that somehow soothed aching mind and heart.
"Egg cream, please." Shadow Spider-Man held up his hand.
"I don't want a drink, can I have a hot dog?" Peter Porker, the Spider-Ham, raised his hand.
"I want a glass of milk, I'll drink it and grow taller!" Peni, the little girl, said with a smile.
Mark looked at how nonchalant everyone was, so he too said, "Then I'll have a glass of milk, too."
"Hmm?"
"You want to grow taller too?" Peni looked at Mark suspiciously.
Mark took a deep breath since he's already annoyed enough "I just want milk!"
""Hahahaha~"" The room was filled with laughter all of a sudden.
Aunt May didn't feel bothered, but looked at the laughing spider-men with a smile on her face, turned and walked into the kitchen to start preparing.
And in the living room, Mark chatted with a few people.
Peni Parker was a 14 year old girl whose companion "sp//dr", the red spider robot on the side, was her spider mech.
She became spider-man because of her genetic compatibility with the spider which in turn made her control the mech.
As for Spider-Ham, who is a humanoid spider in his own right, and in his world Aunt May - May Porker is an anthropomorphic pig who is also a scientist.
While testing an atomic-powered hairdryer, May Porker was affected by the side effects and became cranky, then bit Peter.
As a result of the radiation, Peter is transformed from a "humanoid spider" to a pig spider, and he still has his spider powers.
Shadow Spider-Man(Spider-Man Noir) comes from the Great Depression era and is a young man who is idealistic but inexperienced and powerless. His Uncle Ben and Aunt May were often on the streets spreading left-wing ideas in street speeches, but one day Uncle Ben was brutally murdered.
Peter takes over from Uncle Ben and continues to speak on the streets.
Later, during an investigation into a smuggling case, Peter is accidentally bitten by a spider that runs out of the cargo and gains superpowers.
He converted Uncle Ben's World War I-era pilot's uniform into his own Spider-Man costume and began fighting the illegal and criminal activities of monopoly capitalists.
As for Mark's experience, it's even simpler.
For the past twenty years or so, he was just an ordinary third-rate student who got into a major university and then chose the major of astronomy, opted for graduate school after college, and then was taken by his mentor to become a trainee researcher at that Martian research base.
Then he was bitten by a spider that appeared out of nowhere, and somehow crossed over to this world.
There are no Spider-Man powers, nor any of the legendary Spider-Man experiences.
Even Peni, a 14 year old girl, had a lot more experience than he did.
Spider-Ham arched his pig snout and patted Mark's thigh with his short little hand, "Don't worry, that's how everyone comes across."
Peni got the candy from somewhere, she peeled off the outside candy paper and handed it to Mark's mouth, "Here, it's delicious."
"Thanks." Mark said with a smile as he opened his mouth and ate the candy.
What a united and friendly family of spiders.
Shadow Spider-Man said, "If you want, maybe we can train you."
"Train me?" Mark said in surprise.
"Yes, your present is our past. Each of us has been through your stage, so we also know what you need. Let's get you on a training plan, it might work." Shadow Spider-Man was indeed very steady and spoke in a logical and structured manner.
"Well, let's have something to eat first." Aunt May came out of the kitchen with a tray of not only food but also drink.
Peni thanked her sweetly, but her hand fished the candy out of her pocket again.
Shadow Spider-Man stood up and flicked her forehead lightly, "Less sugar, watch out for cavities."
"Owie..." Penny held her little head and obediently put the candy away.
Mark got up too and helped clear the table.
And Spider-Ham popped into the kitchen at once.
Soon, with everyone working together, a simple but warm dinner was laid out.
