58 Chapter 58

[Third Person's PoV]

Peter and Gwen looked at the screen in front of them, Peter already knows what's going on but it still doesn't take away the shock that he was experiencing.

Gwen is in a whole other state of shock at what she was seeing, it almost made Gwen believe she was dreaming if she didn't fall face first onto the snowy ground.

"Hey Gwen" Peter said while still looking at the news.

"Yes Peter?" Gwen asked with shock still evident in her voice.

"I think I'm dead"

"I-I can see that"

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!" Gwen couldn't help but scream out once again. She pointed on the screen as she continued screaming

"WHY IS THERE A FREAKING BLONDE VERSION OF YOU SAYING YOUR DEAD"

Peter who continued looking at the screen just said "Okay call me crazy but I believe we were just sucked through a portal to another reality"

Peter then quickly tapped at the side of his head as he asked "Wait Arnny are you still there?!" Peter called out.

"Yes, I am here, father. But my abilities have been cut to an all time low. I don't have access to my servers" Arnny appeared out of the corner of his eyes lagging and glitching like she would disconnect at any minute.

"Just lay low for a bit. I'll try to see if I can fix you when I have a chance."

Arnny didn't say anything and just shut down to conserve her energy.

"Husband of Mary Jane Watson" Gwen whispered.

Peter turned his head and looked at Gwen in confusion "What?"

"In this reality or whatever you marry MJ. REALLY?!?!?!?!"

Peter just looked at Gwen in surprise "THAT'S WHAT GOT YOUR ATTENTION WOMAN. NOT THAT WE'RE CURRENTLY STRANDED IN A UNKNOWN UNIVERSE OR THAT THE OTHER ME IS DEAD BUT MY OTHER-ME'S MARITAL STATUS"

"I CAN'T HELP IT! ALRIGHT! I'M FREAKING OUT AND I THOUGHT THAT WE WERE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER IN EVERY SINGLE UNIVERSE OUT THERE AND I JUST DISCOVERED THAT WE'RE NOT. THAT WAS ONE OF THE REASONS I ALLOW MJ TO PURSUE YOU AND YOU BE ALLOWED TO DATE THE TWO OF US."

There was a long pause between the two of them…

"WHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTT"

Peter shouted at the top of his lungs. He took off his mask as there really wasn't any need to have them on at the moment and Gwen followed his example.

Peter took a deep breath and released it and repeated the action with his hands as he said "Let's take a deep breath first and calm down shouting isn't going to get us anywhere"

Gwen nodded her head and took a deep breath trying to calm herself down.

Peter pinched the bridge of his nose as he said "Now would you mind explaining what you meant you when you said you allowed MJ to pursue me and when we agreed to this decision of me having a harem"

"It's not a harem!" Gwen snapped back with gritted teeth.

Gwen then sighed and explained what she said and did back before they were pulled into another reality.

Peter sat at the edge of the snowy ledge and let out a tired sigh "Has it ever occurred to you that maybe perchance I won't like the idea of having a harem…I didn't even freaking know MJ liked me"

Gwen snapped her head to his direction, she couldn't help but curse as she asked "Are you fucking serious? Please tell me you're joking"

Peter awkwardly scratched his cheek and blushed which made him turn his head slightly to avoid being seen by Gwen but due to her enhanced senses they were hard to miss.

"Uh well you see, I don't really pay attention to any other girl that isn't you. I stopped paying attention to the signs of girls liking me since none of that mattered to me when we started going out. You were the one that was mostly on my mind all the time, so I didn't really pay any attention to the clues MJ left behind if what you said is true"

Peter said with his face turning a light shade of red, 'Which is true, the thing with black cat was just my past excitement from my previous life. I didn't actually think of her as attractive now that I think about it. I liked the thought of black cat, not black cat herself.' Peter thought to himself.

"Oh" Gwen mutters blushing as well, they slowly brought their hands together and intertwined their fingers together enjoying their moment alone together.

Gwen squeezed Peter's hand as she sighed, "Look, i'm not trying to say or force you to date MJ all I'm saying is to give her a chance"

"You're still on that?" Peter asked, turning to Gwen and looking at her with a raised brow.

Gwen nodded her head "I already gave her permission, it would be wrong and cruel of me to suddenly say 'You know what I change my mind, give up on your feelings' plus MJ is literally the only girl I can see you with where the feeling of betrayal and disgust consumes me.

She was even willing to throw away her life to save both of our lives if it meant you could be happy, she valued your happiness over her own life… I just can't say no or dislike her for that"

"You're really selling this aren't you. Peter Benjamin Parker the Spider Harem King, conqueror of worlds and women alike."

Gwen went and sat on Peter's lap and went face to face with him. She held his face, looked at him in his eyes, and smiled so sweetly that it captivated Peter for a bit

"Call it a harem one more time and I swear I'll castrate you, do I make myself clear?"

"Yes dear" Peter meekly responded

Gwen brought Peter's face close to hers and kissed him on the lips. She bit his lip and pulled on it slightly, "Good"

"Since when did you become such a seductress?" Peter asked with a smile, taking a hold of Gwen's lower cheeks and pulling her closer.

"Since I found out we are not always together in every universe. I have to keep you on a tight leash somehow."

Peter brought her closer, pressing their bodies together, being the one to initiate the kiss between them. "Well you're doing a good job, you're making it hard to let go of you."

"Good" Gwen said in-between their kisses, "That means what I'm doing is working"

Peter and Gwen then pressed their heads together, "Now onto serious matter, what are we gonna do about our current predicament"

"Honestly, if we are in an alternate universe that means that Peter Parker most likely has an Uncle Ben and Aunt May, I'm worried about them." Peter said, knowing there isn't an uncle Ben but just said it to keep appearances.

"So what do we look for them first?" Gwen asked to which Peter nodded.

"And it's best if we become invisible we wouldn't want to surprise people and make them believe Spider-Man is still alive"

Gwen nodded her head and kissed Peter one more time, Peter getting off him and grabbing her mask putting it back on. Which prompted Peter to do the same.

They both turned invisible and jumped off the building and started heading towards Aunt May's direction.
