129 Sinsiter Surprise part 2

As Rogue was sucker punched to the side, Jean looked on in trepidation as she finally reached the ground; she had seen exactly what just happened. After Rogues hit on shocker, the body that had taken the hit and flown off vanish into mid-air and the next thing she knew he was standing next to Rogue hand already cocked back.

Rogue would have never seen it coming and now that she was closer Jean started to notice a difference in the villains that she had seen so many videos of. As she noted before Shocker was wearing a tight body Armour with two gauntlets wrapping his fists, though the detail and design for the Armour and gauntlets outstripped anything she had seen in Spider-Man's past fights with the Villain.

The same went for Electro, though the harness, didn't look like much before up close was a whole different matter, the minute details that connected the suit to the rest of his body, showed a high-tech design and purpose for the vest. One of the old pictures she had seen of the villain had him only in some ripped jeans and a jacket, this was something else.

"Who the bloody hell was that?" Shocker spoke as he shook his hand after the blow. "Her skin felt as hard as steel and I'm still wearing my gear." Electro spoke as he looked at Rogue picking herself up. "Who cares, I want to know where Spider-Man is. We've been destroying shit for like 30 minutes, he's usually here by now."

The two seemed to completely disregard Rogue as she got back to her feet, Rogue for her part was slightly shaken from the heavy blow. Trailing her hand over the little amount of blood leaking from the side of her mouth she sent a look of worry towards them, then to Jean. Keeping them in her line of sight she quietly floated out of the ruined boutique and grouped up with her, both preparing for a tougher battle than expected, something wasn't right here.

Electro and Shocker's eyes followed them as they got ready for battle, there fears were only confirmed when a new voice spoke up, husky and dark. "We can deal with them until the target gets here, Kraven take out the red head." Jean flared her powers in all directions to discover the voice as the pit of dread in her stomach intensified.

But at the same time a spike of pain hit her mind, the same something that had been messing with her telepathy screwing it up again now. Having no more time to think more on the matter something else screamed inside Jean's mind and without conscious thought a barrier of psionic energy quickly wrapped around her body, stopping the tranquilizer dart that was aiming for her neck.

"Intriguing, more subjects for capture, Mutants from the looks of them. Telepathy and telekinesis, the red head will fit nicely with the witch for Re-training." The grim voice spoke once more, his voice sending shivers down both Jean's and Rouges spine.

Jean's head whipped to the side of Electro a small flicker of flame burned in her eyes as she looked at her assailant, her eyes growing wide in realization and fear. It wasn't just one new assailant, Just like Shocker, the others appeared out of thin air one by one, as they had been there all along, they just hadn't known it and Jean now knew why, Mysterio was the first to appear floating just next to Electro.

With a gold plated and detailed chest Armour covering his front, his green tight body suit could be seen wrapping around the rest of his body. The fish bowl over his head completely obscured his face and continued to twists in weird ways as she looked at it. A red cape splayed out behind him as he hovered just above the ground, putting him just taller than her assailant who appeared second.

The one who fired stood to his side, standing with his chest proudly showing off his defined muscles and trained body as he lowered the scope from his eyes. A frown touched his lips as he looked at his still standing prey, his eyes shifted down to the weapon in his hands, thoughts considering if another shot would work, before quickly dismissing the idea and slinging it over his shoulder.

Wearing tight fitting pants that allowed for easy of movement and a belt across his waist, the most distinct feature was definitely the huge pelt jacket that he wore. Sleeveless and adorned with a mane along the back, from one of his first and favorite kills, Kraven the hunter reached for the blade lying at his waist, eyes sharpening for the hunt.

The third to appear dwarfed all the others his hulking figure stood behind the rest, towering over the rest before them, a helmet rested over his head, red visors hiding his eyes. Though the helmet was a deep green and black it blended seamlessly with the rest of his suit. Unlike the past where from what Jean could remember his suit looked more akin to Kevlar and Armour strapped together to protect his huge body, it now looked almost as advanced as Tony Stark's Iron man suits.

Scorpion stood in all his glory, with his form fitting high-tech Armour, the jagged edges and sleek design belied detailed and expensive work that one wouldn't expect from such a villain, but here he stood in front of them, his massive tail, looking all that much deadlier than she had seen on TV.

Finally the last appeared, standing in front of the rest. 'Clearly the Leader and the one with that creepy voice' Jean thought as she took him in. She had never seen him before, neither had Rogue. Thanks to Spider-Man's popularity, not to mention the fact Kitty was such a huge fan of his, they as her roommate knew practically all his villains like the back of their hands.

Recognizing all from sight except him, as well as how he spoke before, put Jean most on edge, standing in front of the group and obviously the leader, he wore a cloak covering most of his body, his hood covering the top half of his face. Small glimpses of some type of Armour under the cloak were all she could see as defense while in the offense category he had a giant metallic scythe that almost reached the ground.

The scythe seemed to also be his hand from what she could see, its sharp edge glinting coldly in the bright mall. Combine these facts with the bottom of his face, which could just be seen, looking wrinkled and half dead and his decrepit voice, one would assume he was the Grim Reaper.

If that was the motif he was going for when he became a villain, Jean had to admit he definitely hit it spot on. But Jean shook her head and tensed her muscles; she had to quickly focus her mind ready to draw on her powers at any given moment.

With the appearance of the last of them, Jean and Rogue both knew they had bigger problems to worry about than who the new guy was. Shocker, Electro and now the other 4, it was obvious what stood before them, the members may have changed over the years, some coming back over and over to kill a certain arachnid. Everyone knew by now, when this many Spider-Man villains grouped up, when they came looking for the spider.

They weren't villains just working together, they were a group… a force of destruction.

They were the Sinister Six.
