Meeting The X-men

Peter's Pov

Waking up from bed, I proceeded to do my morning ritual; I also decided to skip today's training because I will be visiting the X-men, but first I have to have breakfast and also check with Pro. Charles Xavier telepathically before showing up in his territory without any warning with is a very bad idea.

Telepathically talking to Charles will also help me determine what version of him I am dealing with and that involves invading his mind which frankly disgust me because it is a big invasion of privacy, but I have no choice other than it because believe me, I really don't want to meet an evil or questionable version of him; that will be a very bad thing for me and many others.

I went downstairs to eat breakfast. I talked with Aunt May for almost an hour before telling her that I am going to my bedroom.

As I ascended the stairs, the weight of my decision weighed heavily on my mind. Invading someone's thoughts, even with good intentions, felt like a breach of privacy—a violation of the sanctity of one's mind. I grappled with the moral implications, questioning whether the ends justified the means. But with so much at stake, I found myself compelled to proceed.

Sitting in my bedroom, I closed my eyes and extended my telepathic powers, cautiously probing the vast recesses of Charles's mind. A tinge of guilt accompanied every memory I encountered, as if I were an unwelcome intruder in his private domain. But amidst the unease, I also sensed his inherent goodness, his unwavering commitment to the mutant cause.

In that moment, a surge of conflicting emotions washed over me. On one hand, I marveled at the sheer power of telepathy—the ability to connect, understand, and potentially aid others. On the other hand, I grappled with the ethical quandary of invading someone's thoughts, even for noble intentions. The delicate balance between using my powers for good and respecting individual privacy became painfully apparent.

Despite some questionable decisions he had made in the past, such as not fully confronting Magneto, with his full power, I sensed his inherent goodness.

Satisfied with the knowledge I gained; I made my presence known to Charles.

"Hello, Pro. Charles Xavier. I am Spider-Man. I apologize for the intrusion," I hastily conveyed, hoping he wouldn't shut me out.

"Hello, Spider-Man. What brings you here?" he asked, his tone tinged with wariness.

"I wanted to meet the savior of many meta-humans and someone with the same telepathic abilities as me," I explained, projecting my genuine intentions and feelings. I knew a powerful telepath like Charles could sense the intentions of most living beings.

Our conversation flowed naturally, and before I knew it, I had secured an invitation to visit his school—the Xavier Institute. It was an objective I had hoped to achieve.

With our meeting arranged, I withdrew from Charles's mind and decided to test my new suit before heading to meet the X-Men.

I made my way to the gym, where John was already present. I informed him of my intention to test my suit, and he nodded in understanding.

I activated the nondescript watch on my wrist, instantly enveloping my body in the suit. Its snug fit and enhanced capabilities made me feel more powerful than ever. I felt if I were to give the green goblin a punch at the moment, he will probably die from it. +30 to all stats is something else entirely.

I started sparring with John and I lasted 30 minutes which is a vast improvement from my 5 minutes record these past weeks. I was also able to level up my bio-electricity to 20 levels. I also found out that the suit enhances my bio-electricity causing it to deal more damage to my opponents, it allowed me to deliver more powerful attacks, enhancing my speed, reaction time, and endurance. Fatigue was no longer an issue after intense sparring sessions.

Encouraged by my progress, I requested John to set up multiple training dummies. I put my retraceable limbs to the test, slicing through the dummies with ease. It was a revelation—the suit's versatility and power meant I could face many threats with confidence.

After the exhilarating testing session, I took a refreshing shower, my mind filled with anticipation for my meeting with the X-Men.

General Pov

Charles Xavier's School for the Gifted, affectionately known as the Xavier Institute or Xavier's School, stands as a haven of hope and education for individuals with extraordinary abilities. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural landscapes, the school's grand mansion seamlessly blends architectural elegance with its serene surroundings.

Approaching the school's entrance, one is greeted by ornate wrought iron gates adorned with the emblem of the X-Men—a powerful symbol of unity and acceptance. Expansive grounds stretch in every direction, featuring meticulously manicured gardens, peaceful walkways, and expansive training areas.

Within the school's grounds, young mutants can be seen engaging in various displays of their unique powers. The air buzzes with excitement as their abilities are put to the test. It is a habitual scene, interrupted only by the arrival of a familiar figure, donned in the iconic blue and red suit, gracefully swinging towards the gathering.

"Hey, isn't that Spider-Man?" one of the youngsters excitedly whispers, awe and admiration in their voice.

"Yes, it's him—the amazing superhero," another responds, their gaze fixed dreamily upon the figure.

A sense of wonder permeates the crowd as Spider-Man touches down on the ground. The eager young mutants surround him, clamoring for his attention. The atmosphere is electrified with anticipation, as this dreamlike encounter becomes a reality for many.

Meanwhile, a distinguished bald man in a wheelchair, accompanied by five men and three women, approaches the scene. The onlookers' attention shifts, drawn to the appearance of this iconic figure. Spider-Man's immersion in the crowd is cut short as the bald man extends his hand, introducing himself.

"I am Charles Xavier. It is a pleasure to finally meet the person I have communicated with telepathically," he says with warmth.

"I am Spider-Man. Likewise, it's a pleasure to meet you in person," Spider-Man responds, his gaze sweeping over the individuals by Charles's side.

"Could you introduce your companions, please?" Spider-Man asks Charles, eager to familiarize himself with the assembled team.

Charles proceeds to introduce each member to Spider-Man, ensuring he feels welcomed.

"The man with the ruby glasses is Scott Summers he can generate lasers from his eyes, the red-haired lady is Jean Grey; a telepath and telekinetic, the white-haired lady is Ororo Munroe; she can affect the weather, the wild looking man is Logan; he has very good healing powers , the young man next to Logan is Robert Drake; he can control ice, the tall guy is Piotr Rasputin; he can turn his whole body into an organic steel, similar to osmium, the lady with a white hair strip is Annie Marie and last but not the least is Dr. Hank McCoy." Charles explained patiently to spider-man.

"Nice to meet you guys." Spider-man said to them.

They all nodded to him in greetings and Charles said they should head inside to talk properly.

"Sure. Lead the way" Spider-man said to him.

Peter's Pov

When I laid eyes on these iconic characters, I had to summon all my willpower to contain my fanboyish excitement. They were among my favorite characters in the X-Men.

Attempting to refocus my attention, Robert's question about my mutant powers brought me back to reality. I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts before responding.

"My mutant powers consist of telepathy, regeneration, and bio-electricity," I announced, ensuring my voice carried enough volume for everyone to hear. Their expectant gazes spurred me on.

As the conversation continued, we eventually arrived at what I assumed to be Charles Xavier's office. The group entered the room and settled into their seats; the atmosphere charged with anticipation.

"You have an impressive set of powers. So, when did you gain your powers?" Logan asked me with his gruff voice.

" I gain my telepathy and regeneration it at a very young age but the bio-electricity was gained just recently." I said to him.

" I can sense something missing from your mind Logan and also Jean your telepathic power seems very unstable. Why is that?" I said to Logan and Jean.

" Well, I lost my memories and as for Jean, she can answer you herself." Logan answered me and I was surprised that he easily trusts me with that information.

" My telepathic power started becoming unstable not long ago and We can't find the cause of it." Jean told me and I look at her with sympathy because it must be very hard to always know the thoughts of others and having no control over it whatsoever.

"It must be very hard on you. I think I can help Logan regain his memories if he wants them back, but I don't know of your situation." I said to them but most of them look skeptical except Charles which is surprising to me.

"Logan, I believe that he can truly help you because I have sensed his power and believe it or not, he is more powerful than me." Charles explained to them and to prove his point, I sent all of a telepathic hug which cause them to look at me incredulously.

" Did you just hug us telepathically?" Scott exclaimed while the rest looked impressed with my skill.

" I don't want to brag but there is almost no mutant with my telepathic powers and control. I have always been good at them. So, helping Logan to gain his memories is not exactly difficult." I explained to them.

" I will consider it, but why are you called Spider-man when none of your mutant powers is related to spiders?" Logan said to me which is followed by confused nods from everyone present.

"As for that, I was bitten by a radioactive spider which caused me to have strength and powers proportional to a spider. That's where my superhero name came from." I said while rolling my eyes at their surprised faces.

"Dude! Do you have the goddess of luck as your best friend?" Exclaimed Robert and the others looked they wanted to ask the same question.

"Well, I don't honestly know, but I will try to find out." I said with mirth in my voice.

"Can we know your real identity?" Dr. McCoy suddenly asked, and he even looked embarrassed with his question.

"You can know it in our next meeting if I find you guys trustworthy, no offense. I am doing it to protect my family because I have many enemies who will kill my family if they find out my identity." I try to explain to them while trying not to sound rude.

"It's okay Spider-man. You can tell us when you are comfortable, but can you spar with us before going?" Logan said and the others nodded with understanding while looking excited at the prospect of sparring with me.

"Thank you for the understanding and I will spar with you if you don't mind as an apology." I said to them.

"Let's go to the Danger room." Charles told me and I have to keep myself from reacting because him showing me the Danger room is a sign of trust.

"What is the Danger room?" I asked pretending to be curious.

"The Danger room is a room that can stimulate real life situations that one can interact with. I can't explain it properly, I think if you see it, you will understand better. We use it to train." Logan told me.

"Let's go. I want see this room because it seems it is advance technology." I said excitedly while thinking of all the knowledge I can gain from observing the room.

"Another Hank. God save us." I heard Ororo muttering, and the others shook their heads in defeat when they saw how excited I am in face of new technology.

Heading towards the Danger Room, me and Dr. McCoy were behind discussing recent science discoveries and I can see that Dr. McCoy and the others were surprised to see me being able to keep up with him.
