Wow this suit is amazing, its been 2 days since I got it, and not a single scratch, I love it!

Stark has announced that he will stop manufacturing weapons, I totally agree with his choice, have you seen all the Stark Industry weapons that were in the hands of the terrorists, not safe, not safe at all.

I need to return to school, I cant just go and miss a month of learning experiences, I need an Alibi!

I came with the perfect alibi, One used for centuries untold by the children of the world, an Alibi so sweat drenching, heart shaking, mind shattering...

"I didn't feel well so I stayed home, I even made a comic out of boredom, its kind of good, here have a free copy" I tell my principal, Mr. Borne, as I hand him a bundle of paper with pictures and words, the comic tells a story of a young boy, who saw his parents being robbed and murdered as they left the Opera, The boy swore to protect others from criminals like the "The Man With Big Shoes" who killed his Parents, after a time skip, the boy is a multi-billionaire owner of his fathers company by day, while by night, he is the Cat-Man, with his trusty grappling hook, young Bruce Payne, saves the city he loves from criminal's like: the Jester, The Puffin (Who is later found out to be the man with big shoes, but that is in volume 2) and Gas-Chamber (I was going between Gas-Chamber and Scarecrow, But Scarecrow sounds a bit too corny for me)

"I don't care about this book or why you didn't make it to school, I am asking, Did you do your homework?" says principal Borne, taking a quick peek at my comic, "Yes sir, here it is" I say as I take out several stacks of papers and place it on his desk, "Fine you can go to your classroom, Oh and do you mind if I print copies of this comic and sell them at the cafeteria? Its well made, The characters are not 2d like most comics these days, and its full of action, the kids will love this" asks the Principle, seems like his quick peek got him hooked on Cat-man, Is this a legal, legit, money making opportunity? "Sure, you can sell them, But I want 40% of the money made, its a bit long so you can sell for like 15 or 20 dollars per copy" I say, in a business like tone, "I like how you just made me agree to giving you money and publication, that was very professional of you, young Chris, you have a bright future ahead of you" "Thank you Mr. Borne" "Now go to your classes" "Yes Sir"

Its morning break, I go to my class, and I see a familiar face, its the girl I saved 2 days Ago, I asked someone who sits next to me who she is, "Oh yea, you were probably napping during class, that's Isabelle Decker, she's a new transfer student, so she doesn't have many friends" "OK thanks Mr...."

"My name is Josh Pecker, Ive been sitting here for the past year, why does no one remember me!" says Josh, with a frown on his face, he seems downcast, maybe ill invite him for lunch later.

I couldn't help but notice that New girl Isabelle doesn't have many friends, the other girl seem to laugh at her behind her back, I think I heard one of them call her four-eyes, that's not funny, its just mean.

I also couldn't help but notice, thanks to my enhanced senses, That she is scribbling a sketch of what looks like, Godspeed? Why is she drawing Godspeed? Oh My God, does she have a secret crush on Godspeed, aka Me?

I decided to walk up to here, and act like I know Godspeed, "Hello there, mind if I sit here?" I ask.

She just looks at my face and nods her head, I take an empty seat in font of her and ask "How do you know Godspeed?"

"Godspeed?" she says looking at me, "How do you know Godspeed?" she asks in return, I keep acting and say "He help me, I was out throwing the trash, when a mugger came up to me, he asked for my money or my life, then in he fell unconscious, when his body hit the ground, I saw what was behind him, a man in a white costume, with little buzz of electricity bouncing around him, he told me to call the cops on the man, He called himself Godspeed, and a second later, he was gone, He was so fast I was barely able to see him start running, making the trash in the alley fly everywhere due to his wind pressure, he saved me"

"Really! he saved me too!" she says, excited at our mutual "friend" she starts telling me about her encounter with Godspeed, "Hey umm, Chris?" she asks in a low voice, if I didn't have My Enhanced senses I might have not heard it "Yes?" I ask, "Ummm, Will you be my friend, as you see I don't have any friends..." says Isabelle, blushing slightly out of embarrassment, "Sure, I don't have any friends either, hey wanna see something cool?" I say, with a glad smile on her face she answers "Sure!" she must be happy for finally getting friends, or at least a friend, "Check out this comic I wrote" I say as I give her a free copy of Cat-Man, during lunch break, I eat with Isabelle and Josh, who seemed happy I remembered his name, the cafeteria food is still disgusting.

I gave josh a free copy too, he acted like it was the first gift he got in years, they both seemed to love Cat-Man, they seemed to both shed a tear during Cat-mans fight with the Jester, and he had to choose to save the love of his life, or his best friend.

Being late to save his best friend, the Friend lost half of his face in the fire, while the love of his life, died and became a crisp corpse, The Volume ends when the Friend wakes up, and looks at his hideous, half burnt face, while crying that His Love, Who was also Bruce's Love, Died, "Why did I have to Live, Only for her to die, Its all Cat-mans fault!" and then escapes the hospital while killing a nurse on the way out, It was a Very dark ending, leaving the reader with suspense and wanting to read the next volume.

Well at least I have a cute girl as a Friend, I mean, Really Cute, If it wasn't creepy asking out someone who you "first" met several hours beforehand on a date when you are 16, I wouldv'e already asked her out, maybe school life is gonna start being interesting...
