It was a bright summer morning. Birds fly through the clear sky, enjoying their life full of freedom.

Akoru was walking towards the school watching as the birds flew by. Suddenly, bright inscriptions appeared on the ground and circled around him. It glowed with purple light, forming characters that he had never seen before, then, a large hole appeared in the middle, inside was a dark abyss. As he was standing right in the middle, he fell through the hole.

Akoru Silva. Has gray hair so shiny that it could be mistaken for silver, blue eyes and a slim face. A quite common high-school boy who loves playing games and watching anime.

He's been living alone for the last 3 years. He had no siblings and his parents died from a car accident.

"It's sunny again today. huh?" Akoru whispered to himself as he walks to school. "When will something exciting happen in my life?"

"Heeeeeyy!!! Akoru~!!! Wait up!!"

Akoru turns around and sees his friend running towards him. "Yo, Risa. Good morning!"

Risa, Akoru's friend since middle school. Her yellow hair shines bright as the sunlight with her brown-colored eyes amplifying her cuteness. Her head reaches just below Akoru's shoulders. She lived near Akoru's house since childhood but didn't get to be friends with him until they were in middle school.

"Where's Jack?" Akoru asked.

"Dunno, "

Jack, Akoru's best friend. Has dark blue hair, brown eyes and as tall as Akoru. They've always been together since kindergarten. Playing games 24/7. They're like brothers in blood.

All three of them are highschool students that go to the same school. Risa and Jack are classmates, while Akoru is in the classroom right besides theirs. In school, they always hang out with each other whenever there's a class break, during lunch and obviously after school.

The two of them walked together on the tree shaded rural road towards their school.

A few hours later…

The bell rang loudly; it was heard all over the school. Some students let out a sigh of relief. School time's over. Classes were dismissed. It's time to go back to their home.

Akoru and some of his classmates stayed behind to clean their classroom. It was their schedule, so Akoru couldn't do anything.

Risa and Jack stayed behind to walk home together with Akoru.

"Ahhh, can't wait to go home and play games," Akoru said while arranging the chairs.

"Yeah, me too. I bought a new manga, I can't wait to read it"

Risa turned away from the two and pouted. 'There he goes again, he just always thinks about playing games'.

The sun settled on the horizon, the color of the sky was as red as roses. The three friends walked together under this beautiful display of the dusk.

Akoru got home. His house has enough space for three people to live. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Though no one uses the other bedroom.

Akoru rushed to his room, threw his bag into a corner, and quickly changed clothes.

He goes into his computer and started playing games. He plays one game in particular, it's called BreakCreate.

'Man, I have so much to do but playing really is fun'

'Wait, let me check on my zombie farm. Ooh, I got a ton of loot. As expected from leaving it on while I was in school' Akoru's smile reached his cheeks out of excitement.

Warm air blew towards Akoru's feet, it was from the CPU of his computer.

'Oh shit, my computer's hot. I should let it cool it down first.'

Akoru shut his computer down, turned the fan facing towards it and took a shower while cooling it down.

As he got out of the bathroom, he wore the shirt he's already worn and went out to get something to eat. Half an hour has passed. He returned home, and immediately after eating, he went back to his computer to continue playing the game.

'I'm going to look at my new bluestone invention. I hope it works fine. Oh, I'm so excited.'

Bluestone is a part of the game where it acts as an electrical wire and you can make contraptions and machines with other components. Akoru is a guy who excels in Math and Science, so this type of mechanic is where he is interested.

He played all night until he fell asleep at his desk. Waking up the next morning, he looks at the time, It's 7:30, so he jumped out of his bed to eat breakfast then took a bath afterward. He went out, making sure the house is locked.

He walks to school normally like any other day and sees Risa walking.

"Good morning! Risa. Where's Jack?"

"Good morning, Akoru!" Risa replied with her face turning red. "Oh, there he is. Jack!!"

"Yo, Jack. You're early today what's new?"

"Nothing, I just slept early last night cause I was tired." Jack responded, smiling.

A girl with long black hair, blue eyes, and an alluring face, walked by. She was wearing the green and yellow-colored school uniform, black long socks that reached her thighs and a red ribbon on her hair. Akoru's eyes sparkled as she walked by.

"Akoru, isn't that Hana? You have a crush on her, don't you?" Jack asked. "Why don't you talk to her?" Jack added while grinning.

"Stop it. Hahaha. You know I can't talk to her".

The bell rang, and everyone went to their classroom. As per usual, they went to their classes and Akoru is excited to go home to play video games.

He played until 1:00 am and he fell asleep on his bed.

...

The next day he woke up early, ate breakfast, took a bath, and got ready for school.

He was walking to school just like any other day, but the atmosphere suddenly changed. The clouds blocked the sun, shading the whole place. The people who were walking along Akoru vanished. Bright purple inscriptions on the ground suddenly circled around him. Inside was a dark abyss with howling wind coming from the inside. He fell inside.

Akoru felt as if his soul was leaving his body. He looked upwards and saw the sky going further and further. He lost his footing, and the wind was rushing upwards. When he looked down, there was nothing but darkness.

Suddenly, Akoru woke up from his deep sleep and realized it was all a dream.

"Ahh, that scared me," Akoru sighed. "I thought I was going to die"

He looked at the time and it was 7:00. He gets up from his bed, eats breakfast, and took a bath after that he got ready and walked to school.

After passing by the same location in his dream, the clouds blocked the sun; the people walking by vanished and a bright purple circle appeared below Akoru. He blinked his eyes twice, looked around and scratched them to see if he's seeing things.

'This must be another dream, right?'

In the school, the teacher was checking the attendance. The teacher called...

"Silva Akoru. Silva? Is he absent?"

"That's weird, why is Akoru absent? You know anything, Risa?" Jack asked.

"No, I wonder why. I hope nothing bad happened to him"

***

Akoru fell through the circle, but this time he didn't fall into the abyss, rather, he was falling from the sky. He saw birds flying below him, clouds drifting, and trees growing larger and larger.

'Oh no! I'll die. Is this really happening? This is a dream, right?'

Akoru tucked himself thinking that will keep his head safe and fell on the ground. After hitting the ground, he passed out for a few minutes.

...

Akoru regained consciousness.

'Another bad dream, huh?'

He looked around and realized he wasn't in his room.

Tall trees, green grasses, and colorful plants surround him. At the distance, he can see tall buildings, each with its own color, and a white castle in the middle.

Akoru slapped himself hoping to wake up, but instead, he just felt pain.

'Where am I? Why am I here? Am I really awake?'

'WHAT EVEN IS HAPPENING?!'
