3 Chroma Plate
Akoru reaches the farm where the quest is located. He sees a group of small circular creatures that seems to eat away all the crops. They bounce around having no concern about the world around them.
'So those are slimes, huh? They don't look harmful to humans at all.'
The slimes continue to bounce around like little kids on a trampoline.
'Oh wait, I don't have a weapon. How do I kill them? Guess I'll just use rocks'
Akoru picked up a small, fairly round rock. He went into a position where he's confident he'll hit them and threw the rock like how a baseball pitcher would throw a ball with a strong desire to win. But unfortunately, it missed.
'Man! That was so close!'
The rock he threw missed by atleast one meter away from the slimes.
He tried again. He picked up another fairly round-shaped rock and threw it, for the second time. It went straight to the direction of the slime. Akoru was so sure it would kill the slime.
(Plop!)
The rock bounced off the slime upon impact as if it was rubber.
'Hmm, so objects just bounces off of them, huh? I guess I must use something sharp.'
He picked up a thin rock that has a pointy edge and charged towards the slimes. He was grinding his teeth and gripped the rock firmly. A slime jumped on to his leg and stuck to it. Akoru stabbed the slime, and it exploded, Akoru got splashed by the slime's sticky fluid.
'Ahhhh, Disgusting. It's like *****'
He pokes into the other slime, and it pops again, releasing more sticky fluids. This continued on until all the slimes were gone.
"Oh, It's already night?' That quest took longer than expected, " Akoru said as he stares at the starry night sky with his body covered with the slimes' sticky fluids.
He didn't realize the time passed by so quickly. He was having fun killing those slimes. It's like he experienced being a kid again.
He heads to the farmer's house and knocked. An old man that has long white furry ears came out. He has two teeth showing out of his mouth and the back of his hands had white fur.
'So the farmer is a Rabbitman. Awesome!'
The farmer hands him the quest reward saying not a single word.
Akoru headed back to the city to get more quests. But on his way through the dark forest, he found a suspicious-looking crack on a cliff with light coming from the inside.
There was a flickering of blue lights and after a few seconds, the light disappeared. He tried to look inside but suddenly he heard a low growl. A green horned wolf appeared and started charging towards him. Akoru dashed back to the city.
"Wooh, I'm a pretty fast runner, you won't catch up to me... hah... you... hah... you animal!"
'Why did that wolf have horns? And it's green? Weird'
Akoru went back to the Guild and looked for another quest to take. There were fewer quest posters than before.
[Collect Bull Horns x5. Reward: 5 Gold coins]
[Deliver eggs x20 to the Bakery. Reward: 3 Silver coins]
[Collect Dragon Scales x1. Reward: 1000 Gold Coin]
'Dragon Scales? There are dragons here? I'm just gonna stick to basic ones for now. Delivering eggs won't be too hard'
Akoru grabs the poster from the board and reads it.
*Get the eggs from the Main poultry shop and deliver them to Kinsy's Bakery. The Bakery Owner Kinsy will give the reward*

As Akoru finished delivering the eggs, he wondered.
'Where should I sleep? I don't know if I have enough money. Is 8 silver coins gonna be enough?'
(Stomach growling)
'Ah, I haven't eaten yet, I totally forgot. I guess I'll just go to a pub and eat there'
Akoru spots an interesting-looking place to eat: A tavern that's named Diona's. He goes in and smells the aroma of roasted chicken. Many men are eating while drinking sake. There was a maid outfit wearing Demi-humans serving food to the customers. He goes to the counter and orders roasted chicken and a glass of beer.

[Balance = 2 Silver Coins]
'What does alcohol drinks taste like. I'm 16, so I haven't gotten drunk before. I hope it doesn't taste too bad'
He sits on an empty chair in a corner and eats the food.
The juicy taste of the chicken made him remember things he never knew were in his memory. He stares at the glass of beer, thinking if he should really drink it or not. As soon as he drank a bit of the beer, his face turned red and he became lightheaded.
'Ahh. This doesn't taste too bad after all, I might buy more.'
Akoru continued to drink until the glass was empty and fell asleep as soon as he finished it. Of course this was his intention from the start, to 'accidentally' fall asleep.

The morning came and Akoru woke up. Still feeling dizzy, he opened his eyes and saw a beautiful half-bird woman with green-colored hair, sitting on the other side of the table. Akoru straightened up and sat properly.
'What? I fell asleep? Wait? Is this really not a dream? Am I really in a Different World?'
Akoru asked himself while being worried and excited. He thought of all the things he hasn't done back on Earth: his homework, confessing to Hana, killing the dragon in BreakCreate, not saying goodbye to his precious friends and the most important thing... He didn't double-check if the door was locked!
'Who's this cute girl in front of me? Is she one of the girls in my harem protagonist life?'
"How long are you staying here, mister?"
"Gu- Goodmorning! Hehe. Seems like I fell asleep here. Sorry! I'll leave right away"
"Is it okay for you to leave like that? You smell like beer." the bird-lady asked "We have a bathroom at the back if you want to use it. It's usually just for people lodging, but you can use it" she added.
"Y-yeah. Ok. Sorry. Thank you" Akoru replied while scratching his head.
Akoru went to the bathroom and took a bath. Not having a change of clothes, he took longer waiting for his clothes to dry out a little before heading out.
"Thank you so much for letting me use the bathroom. I'll definitely come back here!"
Akoru said while holding his thumbs up, smiling.
'Now, what should I do? I should get more quests and buy some equipment.'
Akoru spent his day doing easy quests that give him small amounts of money. Killing slimes, delivering stuff, helping some carpenters, finding a lost cat, and some other things.
He accumulated 4 Gold coins. Remembering he has no place to sleep, he thought of coming back to Diona's tavern. But before he went there, he goes to buy some clothes and a cheap sword.
He spends the night eating in the tavern and renting a room to sleep in. This time he decides not to drink beer cause his head hurt for almost the entire day.

[Balance = 1 Gold Coin and 4 Silver coins]
The morning came, Akoru woke up energetically. He was ready for another day of doing quests and Adventures.
'OK! Time to do some more quests.'
Akoru headed out and walked to the Guild.
'Wait... I can buy that Chroma thing now, what's it called Chroma Disk?'
He goes to the Guild to ask the lady.
"Uhmm. Miss, can I get the Chroma Disk now? I have the money."
"My, my! if it isn't the young man from yesterday! Are you sure you want to get the Chroma Plate now? Also, my name's Trish"
"Okay, I'll remember"
'What? It was "Chroma Plate"? I said "Disk" pretty confidently too. AHHHH'
"Come here. Oh! But first your payment"
[Chroma Plate = -1 Gold Coin]
[Balance = -4 Silver Coins]
They go inside a room that has a sign, "Chroma Plate Register Area". Trish shows him a shiny rectangular shaped rock with a spiral seal in the middle.
"Okay! This is the Chroma Plate!" Trish said.
"Eh? That's it? Pretty interesting"
"Okay, please drop a little of your blood in the seal. Then we'll be able to determine your Affinity." said Trish as she hands Akoru a small knife.
"Drop blood into that?!"
"Yes" Trish answered smiling.
Akoru hesitated to cut himself and drop blood to the seal. But he does it anyway.
Trish then puts the Plate on to a rock where it perfectly fits. On the sides of the rock, there were many small circular holes. And there were 2 of them that seem to be larger than the other ones.
After a few seconds, the Chroma plate shone brightly. All the other holes of the big rock flickered different colors of light at once. He looks and sees the two larger holes emitting White and Black, respectively.
Trish removes the Plate immediately after.
"There seems to be a problem with the Element stone"
'This must be because he doesn't have Chroma, but I haven't seen this happen yet with others who don't have Chroma, '
Trish hands the Plate to Akoru.
"You really don't have Chroma or an Element. Sorry, but I'll give you this, anyway. Please read the book over there if you want to know something"
"Thank you, Ms. Trish"
Akoru went and read the book all about the Plate but he didn't understand many things so he headed to the Library.
'Library... Library... Where is the library?'
'I can't believe I'm actually going to the library. I haven't even gone to the library in our school. I mostly learned from the internet. Well, it can't be helped'
Akoru entered the library and was amazed by the size of the building. It was relaxingly silent. The smell of books goes all the way to the entrance and there are countless books to read. There was a glass dome on the ceiling with light shining inside, illuminating a large part of the library.
He finds a book about History and Chroma. While searching, he found an interesting book titled "The Legend of the Silver". He picked it up and brought it along with the other books about Chroma.
After walking around in the library for a bit, he noticed a map on the wall. It had one island on it and some names of the region.
He tries to find some books that contain information about the geography, but the map is all the same: One Island and some regions on it. He found out that the world he was in had only one continent.
'What's this? Pangaea?'
He goes to the library tables and took a seat.
'OK, time to study about this world'
3000 years ago, in this universe, there was a world so boring and bland. Everything is Black and White...
