My Adventures - 2

Two weeks has passed since she started her journey to become an AT. She sailed from her hometown by fisherman's boat to the island where all people gathered to become the Award Hunter. This island called "The Leadland", the land for people who look at the leader to be AT. An award hunter need the thing called "rester" to catch moren. With this thing moren would lose their power and caged, then Anmor army would take them and the owner of the rester would get the award. But, to got this thing was not that easy. Bought it from the special store was the most simple way to got it. With huge amount of money, you could have one of it. That made only a little people that had it. Because of that they made a group with the leader who held a rester.

"I wish I will get a good person who lead me to be great AT", wished Emmai.

Emmai has finally arrived at The Leadland. After left the harbor, she saw some building far from her place. She thought she has to find a crowded place first to meet some people that probably the AT as well. She was in front of the bar and there was also a good restaurant further.

"To think as smart person, of course i will choose a good restaurant. Even it is further, but it will get a good chance to meet a good people. Bar is a bad people's place anyway", in Emmai's mind.

After a far travel, Emmai arrived at the good restaurant. She came into it, then a thing that she saw first was a flying knife right through to the door next to her. The situation inside the restaurant was so mess. The people there tried to kill each other and the other one looked like to protect something. As soon as it happened, Emmai got out from that place. Then she decided to come back to the first building, the bar.

"I think this is not bad to try it. Ehehe...", in her mind while she still shocked about what she's seen before. Then after walked back that far, she finally stand in front of the bar's door. So, she entered the bar by opened that door while she closed her eyes. She still thought about a things happened back there. She felt she already inside the bar, but she didn't hear a single voice of people just a voice of noisy spinning fan above the celling of the room. Perhaps all people in that bar had already died since a good restaurant has already to be rumble place. And then,,,

"What the heck with this girl?! She closed her eyes!", said a man in the bar. Everybody in that bar stared at Emmai.

Emmai felt embarrassed as she opened her eyes that she became center of eyes in the bar. They asked her to join them. But she still felt too silly  after what she did. She walked closer to the bartender nervously. And then she would start to ask the bartender when a man that sat at next to her was laughing a little. The man that looked old but not that old with headband on his forehead. Using some kind of robe that covered his body with the gap at the side of his body so his arms could came out as he used his hand to hold the glass of drinking with hand that covered with hand gloves. Emmai knew that he was laughing at her. With little shy on her words, she asked that man,,

"Emm... Can you help me..??"

"Why don't you ask people in the restaurant? I think a good decorated restaurant has many good people in it.", that man started, then Emmai would start to speak but,,

"Bar is bad people's place, isn't it?", that man continued his words calmly.

"Emm.. Hei!! What is that? Are you..", in the middle of her words, that man continue his words.

"I will choose a good restaurant than a bar if I am a smart person.", Emmai would ask him something but he has already on his words,,

"Oh, come on! You don't have to read the mind for that things.", he laughed a little.

"Your words are same as my opinion!", Emmai amazed. Emmai's words made him irritated that he thought that Emmai didn't listen to him at all. But Emmai kept talked it,,

"That's right! Your words are same as my opinion!"

"Don't mind it. Anyway, what is little girl doing all alone here?", he asked her.

"Heii... Don't call me that! I am going 20 this year", she sat next to him. The situation in that bar back to normal, the people stop stared at Emmai and chatted to their own group. Emmai and that man started the conversation.

"Ah, well.. What's your name?", he started it.

"Did your parent teach you how to inroducing? Before you ask for name you have to introduce your name first, right! How rude!", Emmai replied his question.

"Oh my.. The younger people this year are really something huhh??!! Did you speak like that to everyone with that attitude?!", he replied Emmai with displeasant intonation. So that made Emmai to apologize, then he told her that she can called him MC.

"Oh... My name is Emmai Glorious", she did politely. "Well now, can you tell me someone who have a rester here?"

Emmai's voice was rather loud that made everyone heard it and started to stare at her with irritating eyes. Immediately, Emmai did apologizing and everyone went back to their own businesses.

"You sure are noisy girl after all", MC replied Emmai question calmly.

"I'm really sorry, but do you know who is it?", she asked him again this time.

"What will you do with that person?", MC drank his drink after finished talking.

"I want to join to thier group, emm.. not fight for it".

"Of course you do", MC spoke calmly.

"What is it?! Do you think I am that weak to fight for it?", she pissed.

And all people stared at her again. So did Emmai, she realized she disturbing them and then did apologising again and all back to normal. She also thought that she made MC irritated so then she apologized to him too. Then everything went to be silent.

"I have one", MC spoke calmly in that silent and then he drunk again.

"Yeah, you sure have it", Emmai spoke, after that she drunk the glass of  drink in front of her. The situation went to really silent than before for a minutes. Until Emmai spouted that drink from her mouth in sudden.

"YOU HAVE IT?!!", Emmai got surprised.

"Hei! That's my friend's..", he surprised when he was looking at Emmai that drank  his friend's drink.

"What?? Don't lie to me! How can you have it? A person like you? Have that thing? No, no, unbelieveable!", Emmai really surprised, more surprised than MC did.

She was really made the bar really noisy, then another man shouted at Emmai and MC,,

"Hoii, little brat! Can you shut your mouth up! You're so annoying!!"

"Sorry, sir! I think she has a kind of illness that make her mouth cannot speak quitely. So just forgive her", MC tried to apologized to the people in the bar and made the situation back to normal and quite.

"You see that! Because of your voice, we get the anger from that man!", he talked to Emmai this time. But looked like Emmai even didn't hear what they said, she continued to ask MC,,

"Well, if you have a rester, let me see it? Or at least show me your belt!".

Emmai asked MC to show the belt, the belt that Emmai meant referred to the belt that one of federation's scientist's invention. Emmai asked so because she heard that the belt was a pair with the rester. So if he had one of them, it means he had the other one.

"I dont have the belt and I can't show this rester to you here, too much people who wanted it here"

"I see. Nice lies, old man!", she called MC old man because MC looked certainly like older than Emmai. Then Emmai rose up from her high chair wanted to leave.

"I don't care if you don't believe it. It's not my business anyway", MC replied it calmly while he was drinking his drinking. And Emmai looked pissed for being ignored by MC. 

Suddenly a man broke the bar's door and came inside. He looked so happy in his brown suit.

"Good day, Everyone! I come here for you who want to battle!", that was what he yelled.

No body in the bar made some of voice until one of them told him that there was no fighter in here. He also suggested him to look the fighter in the next restaurant. But that man in brown suit didn't really listen to him and continued to yell,

"The winner of this battle will get 50 million k'oru. It's just one round battle and the winner will get that award". k'oru is the chief monetary unit in that country. For now, k'oru is the highest current unit of all country.

"How can we believe in you that you have that much money for us?", the other man in the bar asked to the suited man. Then the siut man asked them to wait him for a moment and immediately ran outside.

Everybody in the bar got in to the silence, until all back to normal again. So Emmai did, she stuned in her legs until finally she said that man so weird. She thought that everythings happened to her in that island was so weird.

"Oh, I think our conversation is over and I will go now", MC rose up from his high chair and paid his bill. Emmai saw MC that would go,

"Wait! I don't know if you are a liar or not, but I want to join you. Maybe you will teach me about what you know about this journey. Please, let me to join you". She said this journey, it referred to AT's journey.

After a few moments, the man in brown suit came back to the bar. He carried two big briefcases on his hands. Then he yelled again, but this time even louder that before,

"Hallo everyone! I'm back!!"

The person in the bar asked him if there were money in those briefcases.

"Of Course!!", he openned the briefcases and those showed there were so much money in them. The real money of course. Everybody in that bar were surprised, they can't looked the other way but those money. So did Emmai.

"Woww!", Emmai amazed to saw the packs of money in those briefcases.

"And now, who want to come with me?!!", the man in suit yelled to everyone. One by one the people in that bar raised their hand  and yelled "I want it!". The bar became crowded.

"Maybe I should come with them too". Emmai was confused and then she was looking at MC, he was just standing and seeing the crowd people.

"Don't you want to join them?", Emmai asked to MC. But MC didn't interest in it. So Emmai stared at him,

"It will show me how strong you are. Since I decided to follow you, I have to know how and what kind of battle style you used", Emmai gave the kind of opinion on her thought to MC.

"Hhaa?? Hei, don't push yourself over it, I don't force you to follow me, right? And I don't like to fight either", MC refused Emmai suggestion.

"Huh?! Really?", Emmai wondered that it would be a lie or fact that he didn't like to fight.

"Okay everyone! Follow me!!", The suit man yelled again in loud voice as he walked out the bar.

Many people went out to follow him. Emmai really confused what should she do.

"Ooh! They will go now", she seemed disapointed. She would ask MC again this time but she saw him walked away.

"Hei! Eh, where will you go?", Emmai asked to MC that walked away to the  back of the bar.

"Get out from here of course", that what he said.

"The door is right there!", Emmai pointed to the broken door, the door that broken by the suit man and the same door that all people used to get out.

"There is a back door over there!", MC walked away. And once again, with hopefull wish Emmai asked him again about the brown suit man's challenges.

"Emm... Are you sure don't wanna participate in that battles?", but she was ignored by MC and he kept walked to the back of the bar.

"Oooh... Hei, wait for me!!", then she ran toward him. They all went out, and the bar was being quite, quiter that before. No one in there.

Now Emmai and MC had already at behind of the bar. No body there, just two of them.

"Hei! Wait for me!", Emmai finally reached MC place. MC Stopped to walk and stood up there.

"So, you decide to follow me. Well, I think youe are lucky".

"What do you mean?", Emmai confused that MC told her she was lucky. Then MC asked her to check the crowd people who are following the brown suit man at the front of the bar. She looked the situation on it from the side of bar and she saw a big truck that carried the people who want to join the challenge.

"Where will they go with that truck?", Emmai asked MC, but he just gave her the sign that he didn't know.

"What do you mean? Seem like that you have experience about it. Tell me what is it!", Emmai forced him to share his knowledge. After a few moments he decided to explain it to her. This place was in the town that called town of beginning and it wasn't part of the Island that you had to visit on the journey, because there  was nothing special in this place. There were only crowd people and crowd events in it. You can't find any wanted person here. He even told her that the man in brown suit who asked for the battle challenge was just one of some crowd events. There was no award, you would just get into the jail as a street fighter or troublemaker.

"The good way to decrease the population in this country, right?", MC added his words.

"You mean they're going to the jail instead of the battle?", asked Emmai confirmed her thoughts.

"Yes!", MC gave her sign of affrimative.

Then both of them were staying in the silence of that situation for a moment.

"Anyway, you're lucky that you aren't being caught by them", MC cut the silence with some kind of congratulation words.

"Oh!! No body is here now! Show me your rester then!!", Emmai was asking persistently.

"How persistent..", MC took something from his robe. Then he showed it to Emmai. A thing in rectangle with some led next to the other in the middle of small information board and kind of emblem on its surface. Emmai tried to ask MC about its originallity, but MC put it back into his robe and walked away to the forest behind the bar.



"Hei! At least show me your belt too!", Emmai followed him. While he walked, he was telling her that he didn't have the belt she referred to. It made her even confused to think that the rester need the belt to recharged the capacity of caging ability from rester, that's why it usually came in pair, the belt and the rester.

They kept walking into the forest.  When suddenly, a big man appeared from behind of the trees. He caught Emmai's hand. Emmai was surprising.

"Hey, beauty! What are you doing with that moron. Come with me! Let's have fun!!", that big man pulled Emmai into him. Knowing it MC stopped his move.

"What are you going to do, moron!", that big man made fun of MC. Meanwhile Emmai can't do anything with him, seemed like she was being in pain caused of him. She asked MC to help her. Then MC was turning back and staring at that big man.

"You wanna fight me? Huhh!! Moronn!!", The big man was deriding  MC again. In his anger face, MC walked to get closer to them.

"So, you wanna die here, you moron!!", the big man warned MC once more.

"M-C... Help...!", Emmai spoke in small voice as she felt in pain of her arm that being held by that big man.

MC has been already in front of them now. He was grabbing that man arm that held Emmai's hand. Then he held it.

"What- What are yo doing? Put your hand off!!", that big man yelled at MC. But MC didn't care about that, he's even gripping that big man's arm with two hands strongly. Then that bing man felt in pain and released Emmai's arm.

"Now run!!", MC told Emmai to run away. As soon as she could, she fleed from that big man. And MC kicked that big man until made him fell down backward. After that MC ran away from him and shouted to Emmai to keep running without looked back.

"Eh? Run? Why don't we fight him?", Emmai asking to fight that big man back.

"Just run!!", MC ran faster than Emmai. Now he was in front of her. Until he couldn't be seen and left her behind.

"Hei! Wait!!", Emmai was running to catch up but MC was to fast to be reach.
