Pushing up my glasses i see the commotion in front of me. My PA stood still behind me watching everything with a amused smile.
People inside still unaware of our presence. We had a meeting with this company at 5 but its already 30 minutes around but none of them is slightly aware. How negligent. Abusing our employees are we?
"Sir i think you have to wait ove-"a employee came over. I put a hand up gesturing its okay, im rather amused by the manager over here.
"Mrs.kim im sorry this wont happen again. He-he was touching me thats why i overreacted "
- a small voice came over with a loud shouting next .
" YOU COULD'VE BEAR IT...FOR OUR COMPANY'S SAKE..FOR JUST ONE TIME..OH JESUS CHRIST"-she pinched her temple
"SOMEBODY GET HER OUT" and turned around to make a phone call but a step back around and she noticed us. That's where her jaw dropped and realisation hit her head. Also when she moved i saw the person she was shouting on. I got shocked for a second but didnt let anyone notice.
There she was, biting on to her lip to stop tears form and her same brunette hair hiding her small face . she was still the same as before. Her head hung low due to embarrassment and a pang hit on my heart seeing her in pain.
Now that I've met her i shouldn't waste this opportunity. I smiled at the gaping Mrs.Kim and whispered onto minho (PA: personal assistan)
"A card for the girl and a resignation letter. Get it ready." He nodded and went away.
I slowly pushed the door and enter onto the different airconditioned room. The air seems heavy here and tension flying around. As i slowly took in the brown and black color coded office,none of them said a word. All this time my smile was on like a switch and i turned to mrs.kim
" oof its a bad timing isnt it?, seems like you got your hands full"
-i said looking over at su-jin and seeing her gaping at me , i chuckled.
"Sir..i-its not like that. S-sure we are having a bad day but my apologies we still can con-"
"No need"-i said sharply.
She looked frightened and gulped down . Two things went down in one day. Sure must have been a bad day. It wouldn't have if she was having it clearly.
"Her"-i gestured over at su-jin.
"S-she?"
"Yes"-i said. "Is she available?"
"Im sorry sir but she ca-"i cut her off mid sentence.
"Are you fired?"-i asked su-jin and she nodded lightly.
And at that moment the glass door got pushed lightly and in came minho. He slowly gave a card to su-jin and handed over the resignation letter.
"Jung su-jin , those are your resignation papers. If you're up for it, you can work in our company and leave this hell hole. The offers up and you can sign onto those now or later"-i said to her and she took every second to process my words. She looked at the card minho gave her. Scraping onto the corner of it lightly , she was thinking.
After what seemed like 1 or 2 minutes she looked at me and smiled a little.
Tension was still written onto her face.
"Okay then , my job here is done. Mrs Kim im sorry but i don't think i can do business with you and hope not in the future too. Your behaviour towards your employees are rather harsh, i try my best to treat my employees well and seeing you at this state makes me angry and on top of that you and your company are awfully negligent.So I'll take my leave "-
before going out i looked over at su-jin once
Su-jins pov.
I looked at the card on my left hand and school photobook on my right hand. I gulped at the harsh reality, i met him again.but this way? I never imagined it. He looks so changed and looked so mature than before.
Anyways i got fired from my job. This is my chance and only one. I dont want to slip this away and who knows when i will get my next. I took my phone and dialed the number given in the card, just when i was about to press the screen a damp clothe got thrown at my face.
Ewww it stinks. I hurriedly took it over
"Jihun! Whyd you do that? ..you brat!" There stood infront of me my shirtless little brother.
Jung ji-hun. A 17 year old youngster with dazzling looks who plays baseball and has a determined future ahead of him.
Unlike me who is still 23 and never got the glow ups and also the one who got fired from four of her jobs.
"I've been ringing the bell since forever. What the hell were you doing?"
I didnt answer just blew air.
"Mothers angry because you interrupted her beauty sleep"
" She'll be fine with one or two wrinkles"
And the next day i found myself in my usual formal attire. A brown pencil skirt , black blouse and a brown coat with matching heels.
Cliche, too cliche. Slowly walking into the building the air conditioned room welcomed me and my stomach churned in uneasiness. I feel nervous. I wasn't even informed what exactly my job was. All the fan fictions i read until now came swirling in my brain.
What if i get to be his personal assistant? The very thought of it made be blush two more shades than my makeup.
I went towards the counter where a man stood behind.clearing my throat i begin
"Ehem i am jung su-jin and i was told to-"
He interrupted me
"Oh yes. Sir was waiting for you . Please wait a minute"
In a matter of 5 seconds a lady came upto me.
"Follow me please"
I awkwardly followed her.
We went through the elevator on the 5th floor and there taking two right turn we stood in front of a glass door and the room itself screamed
"ThIs Is OuR CEO's OfFiCe".
"Go to the left room and there'll be Mr.han he will explain the rest, have a good day"
I slowly pushed the door and entered. The room looks good with overall nice and expensive furnitures.
I looked over at who was sitting across the table.
Ah it was the same guy behind woo-sung. He gestured me to sit down . looking at him now, he doesnt look that old. Maybe around my age? Anyways all i can confirm right now that he definitely doesn’t like me or he has that resting bitch face thing.
"Umm..so what will i be doing?"-i asked awkwardly rubbing my nape.
"You'll be working under me that's all i can say right now."
"Huh? What do you mean?"-i asked immediately when confusion hit me.
'Oof' he muttered and shook his head a bit.
"The thing is im the personal assistant of kim woo-sung and you'll be the vice personal assistant aka vpa. We have a lot going on around and me being the only close staff to him , our work doesn't finish in time or sometimes takes a toll on us so to lighten our shoulders you're hired here.Different times i have to do two works in the same time, or if im busy , on a call or something you'll provide assistance"
"So that's ju-" I couldn't finish what i was saying when a phone call interrupted what i was saying. He muttered a few 'yes' and 'okay'. putting away the phone he marched for the shelves and racked out a yellow file. Wore his navy blue coat and aimed for the door.
I kinda Panicked when i saw him leave but he eventually stopped and looked at me
"This is your job right now. look over the phone. If any call then answer it saying Mr.kim is out for business matter and to contact later"
After he went out i took my place over the seat Mr.han was sitting.
Feeling weirded out for a sec.
Soon three minutes Seven minutes .....30 minutes went away and no calls or even sign of Mr.han coming back. As if on cue my phone dinged and a message pop out.

I looked over at the address and my eyes popped out. Why should i go to a bar? Well i wasn’t expecting this tho.
This wasn't the kind of bar you see on televisions. Adorned with some traditional furniture and a dark shady colour engulfs the whole space around , gave me a odd vibe . At least i didn't meet any nuisance.
I went to the bartender and as i was explaining my situation he spoke out.
"Two tables from here to the left corner, you'll find him" He said with a bored expression at which i was confused.
Is this a regular thing ? I shrugged and went to the table.
There was a man sitting with his back facing me, who looked rather tall just by sitting i went and poked his shoulders. Didn't respond. Then as i went forward and took a good look at his face i gasped.
"Jin sunbae?"
