Slave... Tournaments?

Several things were different in the Slave Compound. First was the treatment. Beatings were scarce but far more extreme. Food was actually decent, consisting of dried monster meat, stale bread, and aged cheeses alongside with water.

The reason behind it was to make sure the slaves were in an appealing shape to be sold. A thin, skeletal slave doesn't sell.

Aisrin was ignored mostly and was held in the darkest cell in the furthest back of the compound. This did not bother Aisrin, for it was the first place since his abduction that allowed him some peace.

Aisrin would eat, do excersices and then sleep. It became his routine for the first month. In that month he had gained back his figure, but his hair refused to gain back its vibrance and color.

He tried to improve his magic, but the slave mark had completely sealed off his use of mana. This pained him a great deal. It felt like his identity had been revoked. This was the beginning of Aisrins brief decent into madness.

He became even more silent, and unresponsive. He refused to adhere to orders and received harsh beatings, to the point in which he no longer felt the pain. He no longer thought to do anything except build his strength and eat. Occasionally sleeping. Amongst the slaves he was the most ferocious, even beating a few half to death for no reason.

All rationality was gone. He had been displayed at the Slave Auction only twice, but was never bought. His ferocious maddened behavior as well as his low level made him very unappealing to the public.

Three more months passed, and Aisrin was no longer displayed at the public Auctions. He was moved to private auctions and kept away from anyone and anything. It was only then that rationality returned and his thoughts took over. Thoughts of revenge. A deep burning hatred for the princess and all who were involved.

His hair had further faded until it was simply white with pale pink streaks. The stress levels, and the treatment taking away from his usual appearances. His days were spent practicing forms and martial arts moves. Moves not seen in this world.

A renewed interest was given by the Slave Traders/Keepers. He was then entered in tournaments for entertainment for the nobility and higher class commoners.

"Welcome back ladies and gents! To our little tournament games! Here you can test the might of your best slaves against unclaimed slaves!" An announcer greeted. Aisrin was waiting at one of the entrances to the arena.

"I hate these. I barely survived last time!" One slave cried.

"How do these work?" Aisrin asked that slave.

"Hah? The tournaments? It's a no holds barred illegal entertainment. How do you think they work?" The slave snapped.

"So I can kill." Aisrin stated.

"Yeah, good luck. Us unclaimed slaves stand zero chance against owned slaves used simply for illegal activities like these." The slave scoffed and went back to whining. Aisrin looked straight ahead, entirely prepared.

"Tonight, we have a special treat for you all! A true deathmatch! Battle Royale style! Two teams of eight! In a maze! For fifteen minutes!" The announcer shouted out gleefully. Though Aisrin could hear the cheers and announcements, he could not see past the gates.

"So it's a maze?" Aisrin muttered to himself.

"I'm going to die today." The whiney slave stated dejectedly.

"Yep. You are." Aisrin nodded as he moved away from the annoyance.

"Why continue to wait? Let's! Bring! In! The! Entertainment!" The announcer continued to hype the crowd and the gates began to open. Aisrin tended all the muscles in his lower body, and once the gates opened enough he bolted out, cracking the ground from where he lunged forward.

"Wasn't he a level one?" The whiner trembled, looking at the ground in awe and terror.

"Oh so eager! We already have one out of the gates and into the maze!" The announcer was also the commentator. Aisrin darted around through the maze made of wood and stone.

"A level one half Demon offspring. He is currently for sale! As you can see, he is very agile and in very good physical condition!" Aisrin was being treated as a product. There were murmurs of discontent over his level, but there was interest in his race.

Aisrin successfully made it to the center of the maze and waited. He didnt have to wait long as a group of battle dressed slaves fully armed entered the center at their own pace. There was only three, but to the onlookers, the outcome looked predetermined and very little interest was shown. From right to left, there was a giant bronze skinned man dressed in fur like armor, giving him a look of barbarism.

He wielded a giant sword as a weapon, and he had the air of cockiness. The middle man was a small thin fellow with a bow. He had zero notable traits. He was just simply plain.

The lass on the left was in revealing clothes, leaving very little to imagine. A strap covered her breasts and a mini leather skirt covered her ass. She held dual daggers, all three were obviously cinfident.

"So you're the little demon who came to meet us first? Maybe you're new, but in here, killing is allowed!" confident. giant lunged forward powerfully and then jumped in the air and lifted his sword above him. Aisrin remained unmoving until the last second, in which he rolled under the giant and jumped towards the other two. The archer released an arrow at Aisrin, the giant slammed down and cratered the ground with his strike. Aisrin dodged the arrow, which struck the giant in the side.

The giant growled in annoyance. The archer quickly notch another, but Aisrin had already reached him, and grabbed his drawing hand, snapped it and sent him away with a sideways kick, keeping hold of an arrow. He used the arrow on the dagger woman, jumping in close and stabbing the arrow upward towards her throat.

The woman was quick, blocking it with her right arm. The arrow went straight through and she dropped the dagger that was in her right hand. Aisrin caught it as it dropped and jumped back, just as the giant thrust his sword forward where Aisrin was.

"...He is a level one right?" The commentator questioned. The trio was extremely weary of Aisrin now. His movements were precise and deadly. And now he had a weapon he was proficient with. He spun the dagger and wielded it, bloodlust exuding from him, intimidating the duo.

"He can't be using skills... so does that mean he's just that good?" The woman shuddered. The pain in her arm practically paralyzing.

At that point the commentator made brief comments on the surrounding fights, but kept jumping back to Aisrins battle. The archer was slumped against a wall, out for the count.

A brief standstill ensued between the remaining of the trio. The giant twitched and Aisrin jumped forward with insane speed and began sending fully. The giant blocked with his sword, the rapid sound of continuous strikes of metal on metal filled the small area. The onlookers looked on in absolute entrenchment.

They had never seen such swift and precise strikes performed in such a style. The sword began chipping and cracking under the power, but the dagger broke first and Aisrin jumped back just as the giant kicked, putting him off balance, giving Aisrin an opening to throw a well placed punch to the giants kidney.

It was successfully incapacitating. The giant dropped and began to vomit. Tge woman looked at Aisrin and paled. Aisrin looked at her with an unemotional glare. When she locked eyes, she only saw an endless abyss of hatred and anger. She dropped to her knees and fainted. Aisrin walked up to her and took the remaining dagger.

He approached the giant and kicked him swiftly in the side of the head and the kicked the sword away. The giant fell the ground dizzily. The giant looked at Aisrin and put his hand up.

"I-I give up!" The giant cried out. Aisrin looked at him and tsked. He turned around and headed off to find another opponent worthy of pushing himself against. The giant grinned maliciously as he reached his sword and then threw himself towards Aisrin, laughing and calling him a bastard. Aisrin stopped and turned to the side, letting the sword pass in front of him and into the ground.

The giant tried to pull the sword but was kicked even harder, making his vision shake and his mind whirl. Aisrin stood above him and pointed the dagger at the giants throat.

"I'm incapacitated! You win!" The giant grumbled frantically, words mostly failing him.

"What was it you said when we started? Killing is allowed?" Aisrin asked him. The giant looked at Ausrin, and saw nothing but a true demon from the pits of hell. Aisrin thrust the dagger up and through the bottom of the giants throat and then twisted it and yanked it out from the side, slicing the giants head halfway off and killing him efficiently.

Aisrin stood, blood coating his hands and splattered across his torso and part of his face from the arc he created when yanking the blade out. The whole battle lasted a grand total of ten minutes.

Aisrin ran around the Maze looking for a proper opponent, but ran out of time.

"All contestants please remain where you are and drop your weapons! Time is up! No clear winner! But, it was an excellent display of property and product! If you wish to make a purchase, ladies and gents, please feel free to proceed to the private auctions!" The commentator announced. Slave Keepers flooded the maze and collected the slaves, bringing them back to their respective owners and cells.

Aisrin followed the keepers back to the gate. But, instead of heading towards his cell, he was taken to a room to the side. He was chained and made to stand in the middle of that room. Several keepers and an Auctioneer stood around him. There was a door directly in front of him.

Moments passed and the door opened and an elegant woman walked in. She had pitch black hair, red full lips, sharp facial features and honey colored eyes. She wore a cloak over her clothes, but failed to hide her plump breasts and big ass. Ausrin his not the fact that he looked at those parts first. Whether or not she noticed, she didn't betray.

"So you are interested in this product?" Tge Auctioneer began.

"Let's skip the formalities. Ten greater gold tablets. Take it or leave it." The woman threw down a pouch and small thick gold rectangular coins spilled onto the floor. The Auctioneer paused, looked at the couns, the woman, the Aisrin, opened his mouth with a counter, paused, looked at Aisrin and closed his mouth.

"I take that as you'll take the offer then. Good. I'm taking my property now. You can fuck off of him now." The lady turned towards the keepers who quickly unchained Aisrin and backed away hurriedly.

"Let's go." The lady told Aisrin and turned to leave. Aisrin followed her without a word of question.

I myself am quite intrigued by what will happen next!
