6 Chapter 5: Finally a Player!

A bright light blinds me and before I knew it, as if it was all a dream, I woke up in my bed.

My room was back in tip top shape as if it never collapsed in the first place.

My bedroom door slammed open revealing men in black holding guns. They looked ready to shoot at any moment, "hey didn't you say your daughter wasn't a player?" One of the men asked as he looked back at my confused parents.

I wasn't sure what was happening, "um, did I do something?" I asked pointing to myself.

The man in the front was clearly the leader as he was wearing an all black fancy looking suit compared to the others.

The man stared at me, "no, it's nothing." He says before leading the men out of my room.

What the hell?

My parents rushed over to me in a hurry, "are you alright? You didn't get hurt right?" my mother asked.

"Get hurt? Why would I? Wasn't it just a dream?" I asked.

My father glanced over at my mother, "a dream? Well I guess you would think like that since everything is like this." He says looking around my room.

"Yeah, it's understandable, but a dungeon did appear. And you did fall into it." My mom says with a nod.

So it was real? It wasn't a dream? So does this mean I really became a player?

I felt my excitement, I earned a Rare Class and it wasn't a dream.

"Well you must have been through a lot. How about getting some sleep, yeah?" Dad says patting my head as he and Mom finally left me on my own.

This is my chance to check my stats, right?

"Check Status." I call out.

A clear purple box appears before Anae, her eyes was brimming with excitement.

Outside Song Residence

"Sir, are we really going to leave like this?" Fu Meng asked looking back at the Song residence.

All the men in black were already leaving as Captain Misaka Hiyato and Fu Meng were climbing into the last car.

"There's nothing we can do. It might just be pure luck anyways. And even if it wasn't then it's most likely a fluke. Anyways, we should report it to the President for now." He says.

"Back to the guild." Feng Mu tells the driver.

One can see many black cars driving off into the distance.

Meanwhile Dungeon (A) Rank

Orc Dungeon (A) Rank

Task: Kill a thousand orcs

Task: Kill the Boss "Orc Legend"

Party Size: 12

Reward: ??

Penalty: ??

One can see a view of twelve people standing around wearing flashy gear before a purple gate that was shooting static around it's form.

"The reward is unknown this time, huh?" "Jackal", Mage Class, part of Wolf Blood Guild, says as he stared at the gate.

"Looks like it. Better be prepared to watch our backs on this one." "Ricer". Assassin Class, also part of Wolf Blood guild, agrees looking suspiciously around him.

It was obvious that it was a team put together just to fill the numbers. Everyone here was greedy and it was possible only one or two people may make it out alive.

"Alright everyone, looks like everyone is ready. Remember to stick together and there should be hardly any deaths during this raid!" A man know as "Gator, the Sword Dancer" says looking out at the others.

"Stick together he says. I doubt that will be much of a problem." Someone in the crowd whispers.

Back at Song Residence

ANae k=looking at the clear purple box before her:

Well, at least I'm a player now. Is what I would like to say.

What the hell is with these stats?!

My health is poor, and I have a very upsetting title.

I guess even though my class is "Empress" that doesn't mean I'd automatically have the Empress title.

But to actually start off so low, and not only that I'm completely broke>

Jeesh, what a harsh system.

Let's not worry too much about the small stuff, first I need to gain some skills, but if I want to do that I need to figure out my next step.

Hmm...

Looking at my poor stats, perhaps training would be a smart idea?

I should check my inventory for any useful items.

"Inventory." I call out.

I watched as my character status get replaced by another clear game screen, this one was blue with ten slots and a plus sign to add more slots.

There was a durable level 1 sword, and 3 health potions.

"Well at least I have a way to defend myself when I raid another dungeon." I mutter to myself.

"Close Inventory." I call as the game screen disappeared.

I stood and stretched my arms above my head.

My first priority was to get healthy, there was no way that I'd survive with my current state.

I let myself get too comfortable, but I never thought I'd actually get such a rare chance to become a player.

I must get stronger!
