The Normandy and 'Outlaw'

1st POV
Normandy Dock Bay
Me and Jane headed out to see our new ship, which is really cool to say. Even though I've been on it before I never really took the time to check every room and level. I sent Kaiden and Ashley up ahead so I could tell Jane of my plans. We were in an elevator heading down to the Normandy Dock level. Before I could talk Jane beat me too it.
"Hey Ryan." Jane says.
"Yes Jane." I look at her leaning on the elevator wall.
"This is big. We became Spectre's, humanity's first ever Spectre's about to chase the on of if not the biggest threat to the galaxy. The pressure on us is huge but I'm sure we can handle it. I'm happy your by my side I don't think I could do this with out you, I think I would have folded under the pressure." She said jokingly.
Oh how wrong you are Jane. "You would have been just fine with out me, you probably would have found and defeated Saren all by your self. In a alternate timeline You might even be Commander Shepard savior of the galaxy with out any Master Chief in your way." I laughed.
Jane started laughing to an than hugged me close. "That would be interesting but so sad. A Commander Shepard with out her Master Chief say it isn't so. Besides that universe may know me as the Commander but don't forget lover boy I'm also Mrs. Bradley." I kissed her for a bit before letting go and she continued. "Moving on from the jokes were going to need help, a team. At the moment the ground team is us along with Kaiden and Ashley. We need more hands than that, a hand pick team with the skills needed to to find Saren and fight what ever he throws our way."
I smirked happy that Jane and I our always on the same wavelength. "I had the same thought Jane. I already called for a few extra hands and they'll meet us at the loading bay at the Normandy."
Jane was surprised but happy I thought the same before she could ask who I already sent her the files. She sees a notification on her omni-tool and opens it. Reading over who I called for she looked shocked. "Wrex huh, haven't seen him since he dropped that bounty on us. Why him and how do you even know he will accept?" She asks.
"I kept in contact with him over the years and sometimes we get a drink. Think about it, he was set up by Saren and lost a bounty to him. What do bounty hunters care about the most? Their reputation and getting paid both of which Saren has crossed in Wrex. Plus aside from us their are no tanks on our team. Think about it like those old RPG's I used to force you to play when we were kids." She thought about it for a second and nodded so I continued. "I'm hopping that the others will accept my offer too, since I asked the Council for details on Garrus and his skills look impressive while Tali is a very impressive hacker/tech support which would be useful if we split up and one of us takes Kaiden while the other takes Tali."
"That's very smart I like it. Plus this will also prove humans don't have an issue with all aliens and promote cooperation between us all if successful in our mission." She says thinking about all the positives.
As the elevator dings I put on my helmet and my HUD turns on as well as the suit pressurizing. Jane looked confused as to why I did. "Why put on your helmet now were in a safe area along with breathable air."
I shake my head at her. "One word Wrex. Even if my bones won't break easy since I'm a spartan I would still bleed and have cut skin in greeting." After hearing my words she nodded understanding.
The elevator doors open and we walk across the walkway nearing the edge where the Normandy is docked. Infront of the loading bay stands a krogan, quarian and turian. The moment the korgan laid eyes on me he smirked and rushed at me. I knew where this was going so I did the same sprinting at him. Once close enough we met with a headbutt. A loud crack was heard across the dock. Both of us stand straight as I signal the Citadel guards to stand down. I held out my hand as the korgan Wrex shakes it.
"HAHAHA Chief its good to see your still strong and can take a proper krogan greeting unlike most in the galaxy!" Wrex lets put a booming laugh and greeted with his deep voice.
Smiling I pat his shoulder. "And it's nice to see your still kicking old man." I take off the helmet and rest it on my back. Staring at Wrex. "I'll get straight to the point Saren is the mission you in or out?" I ask seriously.
"You don't even need to ask I got a score to settle with that bastard. And I can tell where you are is where the fight is. I want to be in the heart of that." Wrex told me.
"Alright but listen to orders no going rouge on the mission." He stares at me for a while but nodded nonetheless.
As I was having a very krogan greeting with Wrex, Jane went to go talk to Garrus and Tali to find there answer.
"As you probably already heard. I'm Commander Jane Shepard one of humanities newest Spectre's. The mission is finding and taking out Saren before him and his legion of geth bring war to the galaxy. Master Chief has sent me your files so I know your skill set. So I ask will help hunt Saren and save the galaxy?" Jane ask seriously making Tali gulp in nervousness.
Garrus talks first. "I'll do all I can to help you. Saren is a threat to not only humans but the entire galaxy. Not only that but he is a disgrace to all turians. He turned rouge and even tried to kill a fellow turian comrade. I have a bullet just for him." Garrus says.
Jane nodded. "Get in line your not the only one." She chuckled.
Now looking at Tali she waits for her answer. "I-I- I want to help. Saren is not only a threat but if he succeds he might ruin things for quarians everywhere. We made a mistake with the geth but are trying to move past it. If Saren wins we never will and I'm hoping this how do you humans say... put us in a better light." Tali told Jane to which she understood.
"Good words Tali I believe you will." Jane said and me and Wrex walked up to them.
"Well are they in." I asked Jane.
"Their in." Jane nodded and I looked at them.
"Well welcome aboard lets launch and catch this bastard!" I walked to thorough the loading bay with Jane and the rest following. I'm walking a little faster hoping to see my new shuttle Cath made for me. I can't believe the designs for it exist in this universe. To be fair a lot of earths history is the same as my old universe.
Walking thorough the loading bay the door to the Normandy's airlock opens and we enter. The airlock room decontaminated us. After that the Normandy's VI opened the inner door and the new recruits walked through. The door closes and arms start coming out the wall taking off the MJOLNIR armor and putting it into its storage. There is also another armor changing room near the cargo bay of the ship. After the armor is put away two compartments open up to show mine and Jane's Alliance uniform worn on the ship. After putting them on I walk towards the cockpit and Jane heads over to the recruits to show them their quarters.
In the cockpit Joker is typing away at the interface. Hearing my footsteps he starts to talk. "I heard what happened to Captain Anderson. Survives a hundred battles, and then gets taken down by backroom politics. Just watch your back, Chief. Things go bad on this mission, You're next on their chopping block."
"Saren's out their somewhere and were going to find him." I tell him.
He nods at that. "Everyone on this ship is behind you, Chief. One hundred percent. Intercom's open. If you've got anything you want to sat to the crew, now's the time."
3rd POV
"We have our orders: find Saren before he finds the conduit. I wont lie to you crew. This mission isn't going to be easy."
The guards around the ship look up hearing Master Chief's voice.
"This began with an attack on a human settlement in the Traverse." Chakwas turned looking up and Kaiden listened. Both in the Med-Bay. "But we know Saren won't stop there. His geth Armies aren't going to stay on the far fringes of Citadel space."
"For too long our species has stood apart from the others. Now it's time for us to step up and do our part for the rest of the galaxy! Time to show them what humans are made of!" Tali looked up from the interface in the engineering room.
"Wherever Saren goes, we'll follow." The crew members working in bridge communications smiled. "Wherever he searches for the conduit, we'll be there. We will hunt him so the very ends of the galaxy and bring him down! Humanity needs to do this." Wrex, Garrus and Ashley look to each other than up in the CIC. "Not just for our own sake, but the sake of every other species in Citadel Space. Saren must be stopped, and I promise you all... we will stop!"
1st POV
"Well said Chief. Captain would be proud." Joker says.
Walking away I tell him. "The captain gave up everything so me and Jane could have this chance. We can't fail!"
Joker saluted. "Yes sir!."
Time to really explore this ship. Leaving bridge communications I start to walk around the CIC, its really small and there's not much to see aside from the beautiful galaxy map. I'll choose a destination later I still want to explore the ship. Walking past the CIC I go down the stairs and make it to deck 2. This deck holds the mess hall, crew sleeper pods, escape pods, Chakwas Med-Bay and most importantly the captain quarters.
I walk past Kaiden messing with his pod setting. Thank god I don't have to sleep in their anymore they are really uncomfortable. I go to the captain's quarters well no mine and Jane's. Walking in I see Jane changing out of her uniform top and putting on her N7 hoodie. I walk up and hug her from behind kissing her neck and slowly rubbing my hands down her body. She moans and tells me.
"That feels great babe but if we do this you'll to wait to look at your new toy." She smirked at him turning around and pecking his lips.
Dam she's right I almost forgot let me go to the Cargo bay now. "Your right love I'll come back later after I check it out."
She laughed. "Haha it's fine go play with your new toy just make sure whenever we land on the Citadel or Earth we ride that and not the small skycar. I'll head of to the showers." She walked off swinging her hips. She knew what she was doing.
I leave the room and head to the elevator. I swear this thing takes so long, why does it feel longer when I expect something. After another minute the door opens and I walk out to see her, the most beautiful thing I've ever scene. Of course right after my wife! There across the Mako next to the squad lockers sits The Batman Beyond Batmobile come to life. Its a simple sleek pod with sharp angles and rounded sides and giant engine in the back. As I got closer to it my omni-tool comes to life with a message from Cath.
"Hey Ryan, if you reading this it means your in or seeing my gift your new ride call it what you want. It is one of kind. Your shuttle/military grade skycar is an all terrain vehicle. That is capable of space to planetary decent with out burning up. The armor is the same plating the Normandy has. While its interior has three extra seats. 1 passenger next to the driver and 2 in the back. It's engine is powered by an Element Zero prototype core that will allow flight speeds up to FTL in space and Mach three on land. It can land in hard vacuum, high pressure, and temperatures from near-absolute zero to over 900 degrees Celsius. So no matter land, sea or space you can reach it. The weapons system holds missiles, dual mounted machine guns and a mass accelerator cannon all hidden with in its frame. For defenses it has kinetic barriers along with a point lasers. There are two entrances one in the top and the bottom, a strong enough magnet that can tow a Mako, a cloaking device and can be remotely called to your location with a push of a button on your omni-tool. I hope you like your gift spectre. PS tell Jane to ask for something so I can make her a gift too." I read it once more to make sure I got read everything right.
This is a total beast. Thank you Cath for making it on time I would hate to ride in the Mako with Jane driving, I swear she only got her license because the instructor was scared to get in a car with her again. I think I'll call this shuttle the Regalia. Oh I can't wait to pilot it.
