5 Beach walks

Ian walked along the sea shore, after what had happened with Vince earlier on, Ian finds himself feeling confused. Eventhough he had just met Vince, Ian strangely finds himself being attracted to him and he doesn't know if that's a good or bad thing.

"There you are, we've been looking everywhere for you" Ethan says. He had been looking for Ian all day and he was very relieved to see him safe. Ian smiles at him.

"Yeah...sorry for the trouble" he says quietly, Ethan shakes his head.

"It was no problem....shall we head back?"

"Can we stay here for a moment, I need the fresh air"

"Mind if I join?"

"Not at all"

"Dear Journal

It's been 17 months now and my crush on Ian has been growing with each day, the truth is he has someone in mind, someone who is way better than me. I just wish that person realizes that Ian is a treasure to have because if he messes up, i won't think twice about shooting my shot"

He slams the journal close and slaps it on the small nightstand. Jackson was confused, he thought that his friend was talking about Jeremy only to find out it's Ian. He smirks to himself and stands up. He looks out the window and his first view was that of Ian and Ethan taking a walk along the shore. He smirks to himself.

"Time to rain on his parade"

"Look at them acting all couple-like" Alice says watching from afar. Vanessa sighs.

"Can we please enjoy summer break without talking about relationship drama" she says. It was very annoying to have people around her who just want to meddle in each other's business than enjoying summer. Alice rolls her eyes.

"You already have a boyfriend so leave us single people to our misery" she replies. Vanessa shakes her head and turns the other way.

He smiles seeing Ethan and Ian.

"Hey guys, what are you two up to?" He asks. Ian blushes lightly noticing that his crush was starting a conversation with him.

"We're just heading back to the house" Ian replies softly. Jackson nods, his arm rests on Ian's shoulder making Ian blush even more, his crush was touching him, it was a dream come true.

"I thought you were sleeping" Ethan says. Ever since he had been friends with Jackson, he would always complain that the heat on the beach during the day was too much for him but now....

"Can't I decide to take an afternoon stroll too? Or did you want to share something with Ian?" Jackson muses. Ethan gets tense seeing Jackson's smirk, that could only mean he accidentally left his journal and Jackson read it....his face paled in an instant.

"Ethan are you okay?" Ian asks, it was like the boy had seen a ghost in broad daylight.

Jackson squeezes Ian against his side making Ian squeak.

"Let's continue our walk while Ethan goes back to the room and take a nap"

Jackson walks away with Ian in his grasp, Ethan watched as their figures disappeared into the crowd. His heartbeat racing and his mind full of questions.

"Are you sure he's okay? He looked pale back there" Ian says in worry. Jackson smiles.

"He'll be alright but i want us to focus on us right now"

Ian blushed, maybe Jackson meant 'us' as in friends right?

"U-us?" He asks quietly, Jackson nods in response.

"Actually when i asked if Jeremy was in a relationship I was just being shy"

"About what?" Ian bites his bottom lip, the anticipation was too much.

"I actually like someone else....^sigh^....it's you....I like you Ian, God knows since when because it's been long...and when you invited us to your group i was really nervous....i wanted to confess to you but....but i bailed out....stupid right" Jackson says scratching the back of his head sheepishly.

Ian kept his head down, his face and his earlobes crimson.

"I....I like you too Jackson"

"Really? Oh wow...does that mean you'll go out with me?"

"You want to go out with me?"

He chuckles and pulls Ian by his waist.

"I've been wanting to do this for so long" he says leaning in but Ian stops him.

"We're in public"

"I don't care"

Their lips connected immediately with a sweet short kiss, Ian closed his eyes for a second longer after Jackson pulled away.

"So...will you go out with me?"

".....yes"

"He said that?" Alice asked in shock.

Currently, Ian and Alice were in his room and he had just finished telling Alice about what happened earlier on. To say Alice was shocked was an understatement.

"Yeah, and he asked if i would go out with him and I said yes"

Alice squealed clapping her hands excitedly.

"Oh my gosh, I can see it now, Tough jock guy and a sweet nerd boy...couple.goals."

"Yeah right"

They both giggle uncontrollably. Ian was truly happy and if this was a dream he'd rather remain asleep to see how it ends for the both of them.

Knock.knock

Alice turns to the door and looks back at Ian as if she was asking if he was expecting a visitor, Ian shrugged.

"Come in"

The door opened and Jackson comes in, in his hands was a bouquet of yellow roses. Ian blushed immediately.

"Hey Ian...i thought I'd surprise you and invite you to have dinner with me tonight"

Alice smiles and helps Ian up.

"I'm sure he's starving, right Ian?"

"Huh? Oh yeah....yeah" he says. Jackson hands him the flowers and Ian takes a whiff.

"They smell lovely"

"Just like you"

"Okay...I'm going to go now, have fun you two"

The door closes after Alice leaves the room, the two remain in an awkward silence before Ian builds enough courage to start a conversation.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise"

Alice walks outside smiling, her friend had finally got into a relationship with his crush, something she had been hoping it would happen for a long time now. Her smile however disappears as she sees Vanessa and Jeremy walking ahead of her holding hands.

Truthfully, Alice was happy to see her friend be happy with Jeremy because she thought that Vanessa would give Jeremy what she couldn't give him but now she sees that she made a mistake and now she wants Jeremy back for herself. But that would make her a bad friend right?

He pulled the chair out for him making Ian smile. They both sat down in a table near the window to enjoy the late night view of the beach.

"You look cute"

Ian blushes.

"I'm wearing what i wore this afternoon though"

"I know...it's still cute".

Jackson puts his hand over Ian's and Ian could've sworn he felt sparks between their hands or maybe that was just his butterfly filled tummy.

"Jackson....do you...do you see yourself as my boyfriend?" He asks. The question takes Jackson by surprise.

"Oh....i guess....i thought we would go on a few dates and then get official later"

"Good idea...I'm sorry if I'm forward, I've been waiting for this since the day i met you"

"Really? Why didn't you say anything"

"I thought.....i thought you'd make fun of me and then bully me....it happened to me before"

"Well I'm glad i didn't bully you because you're too cute to be bullied....and i meant every word when i said i liked you"

Ian smiles and nods. Their food arrive just in time and they dig in.

"Ian?"

He looks up to the source of the voice, he tenses seeing him again.

"Vince?"
