The school bus soon pulled over and Nicole alighted along with his sisters. Lilian, Aim's friend was anxiously waiting for her, right in front of the gate since she doesn't pick the school bus because her dad drives her to school. Her dad was one of the big men in our town– The founder and President of Sliver Spoon Company.

“Aimscious! ” She called and hurriedly hugged, pulling me away as she dashed off towards the hall. Aims on the other hand was taken by surprise on her sudden pull.

“Come , come, I've got something to tell you” She added in a swift as they faded away. Betty and Nichole just chuckled and head off to their respective class.

A few meters close to their class, Aims gave up the run– She halted in her tracks, gasping for breath.

“Wait, time your time, Li” She stuttered as she took in a long breath. “I'm actually running out of gas at the moment ” She added and Lilian paused. She stared at her with vibrant joy which seemed strange to Aimscious.

“Hey, now tell me, what's the rush for?" She asked after retrieving her lost breath.

“Mum is back from Spain, Aims – I'm so happy, dear. You must go home with me after school, okay” She bursted with joy. Aimscious was happy for her friend but didn't know how to break the news of her disappointment of not going home with her after school due to the ice cream date she had with her siblings.

She just stared at her with a sheepish smile, her gaze was a bit sad. “Um, Li....” She stammered which made Lilian gaze more curiously at her.

“What is it, Aim?” She asked. Just then, they heard the bell, Lilia and Aimscious quickly rushed to off to their class to avoid detention. They directly matched to their respective desk and settled in. Aimscious was about to have a word with Harry when their teacher walked in.

“Get settled everyone ” He announced his presences and they greeted him.

After hours of what seemed like an endless lesson, the bell finally went off for break. Their teacher gave out their assignment and bid them farewell. Harry, Mart, Lilia and Aims sauntered out of their class towards the canteen for their lunch. They hungrily ate their meal had a cheerful chat afterwards, that's when Aims took the opportunity to break the news to her friend. She instinctively turned to Lilia and spoke up with a gloomy gaze.

“Sorry to disappoint you, Lilian but i can't go home with you today. Nicole promised to take Betty and I to the ice cream pub after school ” She blunted and Lilian smiled.

“Is that why you're wearing that look?– Come on, cheer up girl.” She replied. “We can go to the ice cream pub together and visit my place tomorrow, then. I'll ask dad not to pick me up today– What do you say about that? She smiled. Aims was so happy about the turn of events and cheerfully hugged her, landing a kiss on her cheeks. Soon, break was over, they finally returned to class for the rest of the lessons.

Soon school was over– Lilia, Betty and Aimscious went to Nicole's class so to get him for their proposed ice cream date. They happily chatted and laughed all the way to their favorite ice cream pub.

When they arrived, Nicole bought ice cream for all of each one of them, including himself after which they had a lot more and played games and finally visited the big park in the town. There was some kind of kids funfair going on when they got there. They decided to join for a while and leave later on.

When it was getting late, Nicole hinted to get going.

“Girls , its getting late let's go home” She called. They didn't want to leave but had no choice since it was already 5pm and Lilian had to get home early enough. They finally head back home from their date.
