Most kids would spend it right away on candies or ice cream, only Lu Shu could hold in this urge and secretly safekept them in his tiny iron box. He simply liked to watch as coins accumulated in the box, regardless of the total amount.

From time to time, he would shake the box when other kids went to play in the yard. Its weight and the ting of coins inside offered Lu Shu a sense of security for the first time.
