Chapter 4
Darien's POV
They manage to lose Alduin's men. They arrived on the path of a town. There were many people walking around with all different races.
"welcome to Gens, Lia." I said as I looked over at her. "Oh… I'm sorry," I had noticed that I'd her hand again, so I lets go. "So, who was them guys?" I asked.
Angelia sighs, looking around at the people. "Those men were people that work for my uncle," Angelia said not wanting to talk about it anymore. She felt her stomach growl as it had been a while since she had last eaten.
I could tell there was more, but I didn't want to push the subject. "Hungry? Let's head to my place and get something to eat." I said as he waved over a hover taxi. I helps her into the taxi and gets in after.
The taxi takes off down the road.
Two people watched from an hidden spot as Angelia and me got in to Hover taxi. "Go and report to Lord Alduin that we found the found the princess, I will continue to follow them," Victor orders. The others nod and teleports back to the Alanta.
It had started raining by the time the taxi arrived at the mansion. Darien was indeed an important person like Angelia was.
They both managed to get wet by the time they had gotten out of the taxi. Darien invited her into the mansion, "Let me get you some dry clothes and get you something to eat."
Angelia nervously twisted her fingers in her braided hair. She nods, "Thank you, but you really shouldn't have."
I chuckled and shakes my head, "Come on, you said it yourself that you came here to relax." Then I shows her to the den, "just hang in here and I'll be right back," I said ans left the room.
Angelia scratches her neck and sighs. This man was stubborn to talk to but as was she. Angelia couldn't help to think how handsome he was.
She took of her bag from around her and placed it down. "No Angelia you can't" she thought. "Or can I?" Angelia mumbles to herself as she stares out the window.
