1 Chapter 1 First Impression

"Ha, What the f*ck!" Abe looked around as he jumped with fright. In front of him was a very strange and disgusting looking creature. It had multiple eyeballs on its head. Three tongues on it's and pus all over its body.

Abe was unsure why it had pus over its body, honestly all it did was make it look gross. the creature had fur all over it's lower body while it's top was pure black and yellow from the pus.

The creature turned and looked at Abe, it's three tongues started to drool as it opened its yellowish sharp jagged teeth.

"Well Sh*t!" Abe cursed. His body reacted fast, right after that quick curse to calm himself down, Abe was sprinting. Looking at the creatures legs he could tell it wasn't a fast runner. It's legs looked frail like two sticks.

Honestly if it wasn't for the nasty looking body he might have tried to kick him on the knee to see if it would break into two pieces like sticks. That was just a small thought as he was still running as fast as he could.

Unknown to Abe the creature he had seen was called Brite. They are herbivorous. The reason for it's drool was because right behind Abe was one of it's favorite plants. Multiple eyes to see predators. As too why it has such a disgusting looking body well it's just to keep away predators. When it saw Abe run all it did was tilt its head.

Abe on the other hand was somehow still running for his life when nothing was behind him. While he was running his foot tripped on a branch. His face planted straight on the soft dirt. He turned around to see if the creature would lunge at him but to his surprise there was no one there.

With that event a very easy to understand voice spoke into his head.

[Crafting System, activated. +100 starter cp.]

Abe who started to get up had a grin on his dirty face. He started to laugh mancially.

"Hahahaha...Cough Cough" While he was laughing some of the dirt on his face went into his mouth. After spitting everything out he went back to the system. He closed his eyes and a very easy to understand interface popped up.

Abe saw many texts. Most of them were as he expected. A crafting system isn't going to allow him to become stronger through stats. Like it's name implies it's used for crafting.

"Hey system what's the use of cp?" Abe asked. The system instead of replying with an explanation it just showed a new screen next to his interface.

Seeing this Abe understood. Cp was the currency for everything in the system.

Then a new question hit him. 'How the f*ck do I get more Cp?' He knew he got 100 as a starter bonus but how was he supposed to get more Cp. Unlike before the system finally gave him a response.

"Just do missions or kill any living being to get cp."

Hearing this Abe's ear twitched. His eyebrows furrowed. He frowned.

'What do you mean kill any living being, I thought this was a crafting system!' Abe sighed after complaining in his mind.

He looked around before deciding to test somethings. From the way the system showed itself the function that would be most useful right now would have to be storage.

Abe grabbed a rock and as soon as he did a small text popped in front of his eyes.

Tag: It's just a rock.

Seeing this he nodded his head. 'Yes as a traveler I definitely should have a thing that describes stuff. I am to lazy to find it on my own.' After looking at the text a little more Abe then put the rock into his storage. Looking at his interface he saw the storage interface change.

Seeing this Abe's felt great. A big part of his worry wasn't about coming to a new place. He was one of those weirdos who could adapt almost any situation. The thing he was worried about was how he was supposed to survive in such a world.

Although he wished to see his parents it wasn't like worrying about it would bring him back. He stretched his body before looking at the three category in craft shop. Thinking for a bit he scanned through all three.

After awhile he understood the basics of what these three category were for. Design like the name implied gave him different blueprints for different items. Materials gave him all well... materials. The last one was the shocker. Other was really everything else. It had every other thing you could buy. Items, Techniques, abilities, etc.

"So this other is mostly for me to get stronger for killing strong creatures." He mumbled to himself. Thinking like this Abe didn't take long to choose how to spend his 100 cp.

[Bought: Food Pack x10, for 20 cp]

[Bought: Water bottle x6, for 12cp]

[Bought: Survivalist Knowledge (Beginner), for 40 cp]

[Bought: Fire Starter Kit (Design), for 15 cp]

...

With that 100 cp instantly disappeared. Abe wasn't that sad since he thought he definitely used it well. With the new knowledge even though it was beginners he found a safe spot to create a makeshift shelter.

He also checked the new design.

[Fire Starter Kit (Design): +2 Stick, +3 Rocks, +1 Scrap metal.]

He had bought 1 piece of scrap metal along with finding the other materials. With that he then used the systems function.

"Craft!" Abe yelled trying to look like he was casting a magic spell. He was being very extra, all he had to do was think about crafting the design. The materials in his inventory began to get depleted. This last for 2 seconds before a object landed on Abe's hands.

Use: Start a Fire (10/10 usage)

Quality: Poor

Tag: It's a very primitive fire starter.

Feeling the temperature around him getting colder as night fell Abe hurried on creating the campfire with the fire starter. After a couple minutes a orange and red hue came about from the embers of the fire. Abe sighed while seeing the nice and big campfire.

Along with it a surprising notification was shown.

Seeing this Abe was given a pretty sweet surprise. Anything he made on his own that was usable would allow him to gain it's design. Very useful!

Abe laid back as he looked at the night sky. He saw millions of stars that speckled the sky. He didn't see a moon. He saw 2 planets that were very close to this one. They were close enough that he could see specks of forests on the other two planets.

Looking at it and the strange surrounding he suddenly realized how amazing it was. Before he was in too much of a rush to realize but this was a new world with amazing scenery.

Looking at this strange but beautiful view Abe began to wonder as his eyes slowly closed.

'I wonder what else is out there? In this strange world.'
