7 Chapter 7: Beaten senseless

In a dark dimly lit office room, was a man sitting in his chair with his feet on the desk. He was smoking a cigarette.

"Vice General, Davis" a feminine, yet automated sounding voice spoke

Davis let out a *sigh* and asked "what is it, Bella?"

During the past 4 years Davis had been mercilessly climbing the ranks in CROSS, the speed at which he was climbing ranks was something no one had ever achieved.

Within the short span of 5 years, Davis had risen from recruit to vice general.

Some even thought that Davis would be the next general of CROSS.

"OMEGA has been successfully turned into a blue" replied Bella in her usually automated tone

"Uh, whose omega?" Davis asked nonchalantly

"Sir, it's Max"

"OH HOHOHO," Davis said with a chuckle

"I knew he had it in him, now, I gotta go see him before he tries to leave" Davis tossed his cigarette and got up

"I hope you're special, kid"

As soon as Max was about to make a run for it he was shot straight in his good arm

"Hold it omega," A familiar voice said

"DAVIS!" Max growled, although he had been shot and was very well bleeding the pain soon went away when we saw Davis.

"Whoa, look at you," Davis said

Davis was the man responsible for what he was going through. He took him away from his family.

"Hey, computer weren't you supposed to make sure he wouldn't leave?" Davis asked

*M-M-M-MY APOLOGISES VICE GENERAL DAVIS, I- I WAS CARELESS* HUE said in fear. Although he was an A. He was still afraid of being deleted. To an A. I being deleted was similar to death.

"I SWEAR IM GOING TO KILL YOU DAVIS" Max cried as he dashed towards Davis at a speed that was unachievable by any normal human.

Davis let out a long *sigh* and said "Bella go call the nurse... and a doctor"

Davis was within Max's striking range Max was ready to throw a punch at Davis with everything he had. His arm flung forward smashing into something, a loud *THUD* sound was heard.

And max could be seen lying flat on the floor with two broken arms.

Davis squatted down to Max's level.

"Kid, that was a good one," he said while patting his head

"But you could do better"

He got up and started stretching his legs

"let me show you how it's done."

He immediately kicked Max straight in the stomach, the kick was so intense that it caused max to catapult through a keltal wall and back into his white room

Max instantly started to cough up blood, he couldn't move a muscle, the pain was even greater than the pain that he felt when we injected him with the serum.

This was the second time his plain white room had some sort of colour in it apart from white. The floor was now painted red with Max's blood.

"Wanna know what sucks about being a blue?" Davis asked

"You can't faint" right after saying that Davis kicked him in the head, a loud snapping sound could be heard.

Max felt as if his skull had been shattered, and he finally fainted

"Goodnight kid," Davis said as he started the leave the white hallway

"Hey you, Davis said while looking at one of the guards that guarded the main entrance"

"YES, SIR! The guard responded almost immediately and saluted Davis.

"Make sure that A. I gets deleted"

"UNDERSTOOD, SIR!" The guard replied.

Davis walked out the hallway as if nothing even happened. As he left Bella could be seen going in accompanying her were two female nurses and a doctor.

"I went easy on him," Davis said as he entered another door.

On the other hand, when the doctors and nurses entered Max's room they were awe-struck.

The entire room was in ruins, the door was missing, walls had holes in them, and a young man could be seen with broken arms and a cracked open skull.

There was a large pool of blood around him, the nurses were horrified. Their mouths were left gaping.

The doctor, too, was shocked but didn't seem to show it. Bella on the other hand was as calm as a cucumber, they walked over to Max and kneeled to his level.

*Breathe* She could hear light breathing sounds.

"Omega, respond"

"..." Max remained silent, only the sound of faint breathing could be heard.

His body had started to repair itself but he lacked blood and so he wasn't able to heal himself completely.

*Ahem* "Let's get to work, shall we?" The doctor said, to snap the nurses out of their trance like state.

"Are they new recruits?" Bella asked looking at the nurses

"Yes, they joined a week ago. I've already given them the necessary training, however, it seems as if they still haven't gotten used to it" The doctor answered, his tone was quite calm and relaxing.

Bella walked over to one of the nurses and patted her on the shoulder "Don't worry about it, you'll get used to it"

Saying that she proceeded to leave the hallway.

"Alright let's get to work shall we?" The doctor said once again, by his tone it was quite obvious that he was getting impatient.

"Y-yes" They both nodded before swiftly unstretching a stretcher, they both lifted Max and placed him on the stretcher and carried him away to another room down the hallway.

This new room was a hospital room, there were many beds with light green curtains hung around them. It looked like your average hospital.

There was only one main difference and that was the fact that the beds were massive, they seemed to made of the same material that the outer gray hall was made from. They even have restraints attached to them to hold the patients hands, feet, arms, legs, neck, and head in place.

The nurses swiftly placed Max on one of the beds and locked the cuff shaped restraints around his mangled arms and the rest of his body.

The doctor meanwhile had changed into a green hospital scrub.

"Now lets see what we can do about this mess" the doctor sneered and grinned and he put on his gloves
