Akira grabbed the Book and walked to a table near a window.

He opened the History Book he saw the following:

After the year 2010 an incident happened that removed the Earth that existed.

A Meteor hit the surface but contrary to all what people thought there wasn't any impact nor a explosion, many thought it was an illusion, that is until Monsters appeared and killed everyone they seen it was an apocalypse, at least if you took the normal people word for it. With such a supposed circumstance, it did not take long for some humans to grow tired with their current state of life.

the desperation and the feeling of being almost extinct pushed some humans to fight back.

Perhaps, getting the mercy of some strong being they found that the more they fought the stronger they got, so they formed a whole new corps which is teams, and they fought against all the monsters and made them fall back to the gates they came from. But there was no limit to the humans greed, instead of closing the gates they tried to venture inside them and try to loot the other side.

Who would have thought that the monsters that were hibernating inside were a hundred times stronger than the normal ones, and so the legendary hunters died, the last contribution they could do was use a self sacrifice spell so make the gates non-accessible by monsters, but after a long time even thought the gates couldn't transport live monsters, they affected the atmosphere and transformed most of the wildlife into spiritual monsters.

After that humans have accepted their current life. There was little to complain about.as they had strong Hunter teams that can defend the world with their magical abilities that let them become rivals to the monsters.

"wow, so this all happened, this is too much to absorb" Akira massaged his temples and looked out of the window near him, he saw many people with weird hides and metal armors that would only exist in novels.

He had thought that he would have a peaceful time after he retired, who would have guessed that his life will become more and more complicated. All he can do now is accept it and move forward.

'what should be my goal in this second chance' Akira thought as he looked at his hands

'Get to an important position where no one can disrespect nor humiliate me' He smiled and stood up with a new found motivation.

He then put the Book back in tis place and searched for another one for monsters and other things that he needs to know about, but unfortunately he didn't find anything.

he shook his head and went outside directly to an isolated place and changed his clothes he put his mask on and grabbed the bag with the loot.

he then went into the Hunter association, what he saw was an organized place with guards almost in every angle, with the many receptionists and lines of hunters waiting for their turn.

he then walked slowly without anyone noticing and took place in a line, after a bit he was in front of the receptionist that greeted him with a smile.

"How can i help you sir" the receptionist said with a professional smile, he didn't question why Akira was hiding his face.

"i would like to register as a hunter and i would like a book about the spiritual monsters" Akira said with an indifferent voice and calm way.

"Sure, fill in what you can in this forum and wait for a bit in that room, here is the book about the monsters" the receptionist pulled a book and pointed at a room at the side.

Akira nodded and took the book then moved to the door when he was entering someone noticed him and smiled.

He entered the room and sat down a chair without even looking at the other people around him and opened the book reading it, 'so there is levels to spiritual monsters as well they are just called stars, 1-star need a team level 2 and the more it goes up the higher danger goes, plus rare and legendary traits' Akira was fascinated as he studied the species in the book and finally found the wolf he killed in the forest, 'Wind rider Wolf its called, its rare Trait: Wind blade, Legendary Trait: Air Bomb' "so i met with the rare Wolf" he rubbed his chin, then someone said "okay get in line and go inside this room and touch the stone in the middle" then all the hunters in the room did as told and when it was Akira's turn he touched the stone and the instructor looked at the dim shine that came out of it and shook his head.

"D-Class | Skilled level 1" the instructor said with no change in emotions and handed him a aluminum card with Azucar as his nickname and level 1 bellow it.

Akira didn't mind the attitude and he left without caring but while he hoped for a silence enter and leave with no commotion but he cannot avoid them.

the armored guy from the earlier time was in front of him and said "i never thought you would be a newbie with such an attitude" he smiled as he got closer to him.

Akira grew annoyed at how close the guy was to him so he went around him without care, the guy got veins in his temples and was about to swing his arm to hit Akira but stopped when he saw the guards in the association prepare to act, "Tsk, anyone who wants to team up with this guy will be my enemy". when he said that some hunters sighed and some looked gleefully at Akira and others gave the armored guy a thumbs up to please him, but Akira still moved out the receptionist without acknowledging him, which made him fume even more.

"i want to sell this" he put the loot he got from the wolves and a bit of meat.

the receptionist grabbed a machine and aimed it at each ingredient and noted each one and he had his eyes shining when he saw the Wind Wolf's hide, teeth, eyes, and claws, after a bit he counted everything and said "this will go for 5k medium crystals or 50 large crystals, give me your hunter card so i can put in how many crystals you own without always needing to have them on you."

(the crystal currency goes like this: 100 small crystal= 1 medium crystal. 100 medium crystal= 1 large crystal)

"Sure, put 30 large crystals in the card and give me 20 right now" He said as he felt happy to see his money increase.

while the others were looking at him he took his crystals and went out the door while thinking about how to get cultivation techniques, he then went into the bus and paid with bills, like normal people with no hunter abilities would.

he entered his house and went to his pc, "let's search for weapons, Oh the hero association got an official website" Akira was browsing through the techniques and all the materials for sale.

and as he saw the price of the techniques he almost punched his monitor, "you telling me an average gear set costs 100 large crystals, you must be kidding me, maybe that's why almost every hunter wants to join a guild there prices are impossible for normal hunters" he shook his head and lost his motivation to look at more weapons but then he saw a a dagger called Energy vampire which costed 10 large crystals, he got interested, in the description there was written: Takes from the element of the user and creates a suction the more it absorbs the more damage it deals. Caution: it needs to be fueled by the element of the user for a period of time. in the reviews there was many 1 stars, many of them complained about how much energy it takes for them to use it.

"is my space power considered element, if so i can make this dagger useful in my absolute zone" Akira looked at the screen for a while, then he decided to take the gamble.

"you will need to pay for the weapon when its delivered, thank you for purchasing" Akira saw the message and got up to check the case he got from those military guys.
