12 Chapter 12

He woke up slowly but just as he tried moving he stood up and shuddered. It was hard to think. He was dizzy. He couldn't feel his knees anymore.

He fell on the cold watery stone ground, and slammed his shoulder on a sharp protruding rock. after a while he could only hear his breath. It was torturous to invade into an alien land and not having sight, but it was nothing compared to his recent happenings.

Blood trickled down from his torn shoulder and soaked through his tiny bit of cloth left. It was a considerably big wound. He raised his head and looked up at the top the cave. Akira was lying on the ground, blood dripping out of his body, unable to move.

He was completely exhausted. He had endured and survived for a long time, but it all ended him up here.

"Finally, I can rest now..." he said as he forced his body to move through sheer will power that he built while in the space that was shredding his body, as he tried to control the Cubic space to bring the hide of the wolves he had killed before, when he did he felt like it was a subconscious action.

at the start when he got the space power he felt like he was using a tool so it wasn't perfect control, but now he felt as if its a part of his body, like an extra hand, even his space control powers became more powerful.

But Akira was too busy dealing with the pain in his body to notice, he got the hide and wrapped it on his body then fell down to sleep.

He remembered the feeling of the space shredding his skin and him moving desperately to hide in the Cubic space, that was the most humiliating thing that happened to him in all his life.

However, right now, he was still conscious. He just had his eyes closed because he was tired. he could still feel the damp air.

Somehow this feeling brought happiness to him, "i need to focus on what happened".

All of a sudden, he felt as though a huge load of information flooded his mind, and head started aching fiercely at the moment. After he clutched his head and wailed in pain for a while, he felt that he had learned about what happened. At first, he didn't know what the hell was going on, but as the memories sorted itself out inside his head, his mind became clearer. His expression had become completely tranquil. At a glance, he appeared to possess a calm and steady demeanor.

'Where the hell am I?' He looked around, trying to figure out his location. He couldn't recognize the place he currently was at. It was nothing like the inside of the dungeon. It was extremely different.

after many hours he finally could stand up, even though his knees and stomach were sending a terrible pain through his body, he could still cope with it.

going outside and looking at the view that greeted his eyes, he felt refreshed, 'anything is better than darkness and stillness'.

An unusual humming sound vibrated in the air. It sounded like a swarm of bees. Then the buzzing transferred to the rock beneath his feet. It travelled through Akira's body and he felt a tingle that ran up to his fingertips. he looked around and the source of the sound revealed itself.

It was a waterfall that had an Atlantis-blue Color. It was gushing over the rocks. At its widest point, it was surging and plunging down the mountain. It had a beautiful serenity-pool at the bottom. It was crystal clear. The waterfall flowed as smoothly as syrup. The frogs croaking nearby added to the wonderful sounds. Akira went to it and washed his face with the water, But It was abnormally cold that he started shuddering. he felt something cold go around his body and couldn't do anything but let the nougat sweet smell of flowers wash over him while the cold energy was roaming his veins.

after a while he felt that the energy disappeared and even felt energized, remembering his shoulder wound he looked at it but found nothing, not even a scar.

'Considering how deep the wound was it should have at least took weeks to heal to this extent' Akira thought as he looked at the tranquil lake and picked up a branch to touch the water.

Surprisingly the stick turned frost white and broke down to small crystals, looking at this Akira made a note in his mind, 'Don't ever experiment with your body'.

That was the main reason he got thrown into the cave, and almost got frozen to death, 'maybe my body got tempered by space, thankfully'.
