5 Time Skip

Shen watched his father repeatedly for the next 2 years learning hand signs and their purpose. He learned to control his chakra even more. His father taught him the basics but Shen exceeded his expectations learning them quickly and even better than what the basics ask for. Hiashi was happy knowing his son was such a strong individual and will have no problem shining at the Academy.

Once he turned exactly 5 (another year skipped) his father had told him "You will now start learning the family's Taijutsu the "8 Trigrams Palms" and the "Gentle Fist Art" don't let me down." Shen was excited he could finally start improving his body as he didn't want to be pure skills no power. His father made him practice with shurikens and all sorts of weapons even if it wasn't necessary. At the time he turned five Neji was born making him his cousin. Shen knew he had to let Neji have the Curse Seal but he will stop his father from traumatizing him to a point.

The real training had started as his father made him do pushups, sit ups, crunches, and other basic body training methods. He knew how to do them but the fact that they were in large quantity and he has to do over 100 of them made every fibre in his body turn in pain. His father made him carry huge rocks and Shen would feel his whole back burning with intense pressure. The thing that made him carry on was that he couldn't let his family down! He didn't want to be weak and he wanted to be able to protect his family.

He tried his hardest and didn't give up. Shen had less than 3 years time before he had to go to the academy if nothing happens. He knew he had less than 4 years before Itachi would massacre the Uchiha. He made the hard decision of letting it happen as Sasuke was 2 years younger than him. He didn't want to accidentally change the course of the story so he knew he had to let it happen or it wouldn't be fun for him.

He hasn't checked his stats once as his mind was clouded with thoughts concerning the future and his training.

He decided to press the Stats Tab to see what had happened.

Shen looked at his stats in amazement as most of them had even doubled. He was also excited as he could unlock the Byakugan after some more training. His father came up to him smiling which was a very rare sight.

"Shen I spoke to Lord Third and he said he will allow you to join the academy starting now and may even allow you to join the Anbu if you keep up your excellent performance." Shen could see the glee on his father's face. He was happy knowing he made his father proud as he knew Hinata and Hanabi will face harsh training aswell.

The very next day his father had led him to the academy. Shen was enjoying the view and the academy seemed much cooler in real life than in the anime. He entered the building and immediately saw everyone staring at him. He felt nervous but mustered up his courage and stared straight ahead walking with his father by his side. He could clearly hear everyone murmuring but couldn't distinctly make sense of what they were saying as his body was still developing and he was about as strong as a average Chunin at most.
