4 The escape part 3

While I was fighting Lanni Darrius and emma had gotten done helping the girls there was only 30 minutes left on the clock so I threw emma one of the ruined daggers the orcs had, the drops had a 10 minute protection timer on it for the 2 people who contributed the most killing the monsters so she didn't have enough time to pick it up, I told her to take care of the last orc here with Lanni and to join me at the front desk where the boss would probably be located.

I would also leave behind my weakest skeleton to help but I couldn't afford to spare anything else. I ran towards the front with 26 minutes left I told the orc I just I planned to save this resurrection slot for the boss, On the way the I spotted a fire extinguisher and decided to take it with me.

When we arrived there were already people there 7 people had managed to make it this far, but It didn't add up how did they get here, there were no bodies then I recognized one of the people, It was the president Mrs. Jhonson, It all made sense they were downstairs already when the invasion started. I threw a dagger at the boss orc and cut some of his hide. I ordered my skeletons to charge at the boss and as they ran there bones started rattling. The sound alerted the others and they started to backup into the boss I yelled at them to stop before it was to late and they snapped back to there senses. They ran towards the skeletons figuring they probably weren't as bad as that monster. As they ran to me the skeletons ran to the boss, what they didn't know was that I was in control of them as the people stood there ground the skeletons kept running. finally they were ready to strike, but were soon humiliated as the skeletons ran past the people, who stood in their action poses.

'There better be a way to release my skeletons' I thought, while taking out the legendary box I had from before, when I took it out I forgot that the people from earlier had already reached me, but I couldn't worry about the we had 10 minutes to beat the boss. I spoke "use" and the box started to spin and expand. It went from the size of a quarter to the size of 4 pillows stacked on top of each other, the box then opened ferociously like an alligator's jaw and inside the box contained 16 items.

I put them all in my inventory and took out a shiny silver plated bag the boss roared at me while I stood still the people behind screamed at me to run but I ignored them.

The boss charged at me so I pulled a glowing item out of the sack. It was a lightning bolt, the item I had acquired was "Zues's bag of lightning" the description of the item was "Amount:?|Damage:???|As long as you use mana on this bag it will produce a fake version of Zues's lightning bolts, if the god catches you using these fakes you may be punished accordingly.". I threw the bolt at the boss and he froze, my skeletons started to tear off his flesh viscously I took out my dagger and stabbed the boss in his chest, there was only 30 seconds on the clock, so I decided to put the dagger in the bosses eye and stomp it in. He wasn't dying and the time really started to catch up, I struck him with one more bolt and the timer finally let up, I was finally met with a refreshing ding.

I turned toward the people that had been watching me with open mouths, they rushed toward me as to help me but they suddenly began bombarding me with questions. None of them got answers though, emma came up to the front desk with lanni darrius and the girls from earlier "Hey, the boss is dead."

"Did you kill it?!" She looked at me with eyes full Admiration

"Yeah, Lets go."

I started to walk away when emma asked

"What about everyone else?"

"Yeah, lanni and darrius are coming to, that is if they want to live."

"No everybody else..." When she said that everyone started to look at me, as if I was the one that would save them, the one that would bring them justice and protect them.

"Ugh, fine. stay here and protect them." I spoke to the skeleton I left with emma and the others, while the skeleton waddled over to the people another corpse was rising, the boss had been resurrected

"Same for you.".
