1 The beginning after the end

It's just another day full of teachers nagging and students laughing, Gossiping, Mocking the teachers and just being A** Holes in general. I thought as I pretended to read a book, you could hear the faint voice of a teacher telling his class to 'flip the page to chapter 73' and him telling them shortly after not to bother him. When will anything ever change around here? I grabbed my cell phone out of my pocket and continued to search through T.I.S Updates when suddenly my phone died. And this was strange due to the fact that, my phone was at 43% i tried to power it back on twice but my attempts were useless, before i could try a third i heard a voice it was a deep and sinister voice but it was also welcoming "Accept your fate, Or Perish", I started to worry but i didn't know why, I wasn't scared but i was still worried, i could tell everyone else could hear the voice because they more or less had the same expression as me, I froze and the voice repeated "Accept your fate, Or Perish" this time it added "You now have 5 seconds to decide" it then continued to countdown, 5 everyone started to panic some kept quiet around 5 of the 30 people in the classroom accepted including the teacher 4 everyone is still panicking but its causing more people to accept it 3 i start to breathe heavily knowing i only have 2 seconds to decide 'but i can't be like these idiots, I cant Panic!' 2 "I Accept!" as those words leave my tongue the class starts to feel a little bit more at ease, i think its the fact that they are now reassured its not them going crazy 1 everyone was quiet for around 10 seconds the voice spoke "everyone that has chosen your fate you will now gain the ability you were meant to have since birth in this defective world" a sharp pain came through my body my vision started to blur and my heart started to race i heard a new voice a robotic sort of companion type voice

[You have acquired ability, "necromancer"]

[Ability outdated, evolving ability]

[You have acquired ability, "sovereign of the corpses"]

[You have gained the title "lord of the dead"]

"What?!" I thought, but before I could question it any further I heard small pitter pattering against the cold school floor because a little green goblin came rushing in carrying a club the size of his torso. He looked around then rushed at me and swung his club ferociously and failing to hit me even once, I caught a glimpse of the scissors on the teachers desk and rushed for them while everyone else screamed I turned back to be met with a brown object flying at my face, luckily the goblin slipped over a pencil that had fell in the midst of things as soon as his body hit the floor I stabbed him then closed the scissors leaving a cut the size of a sideways pencil in his chest the creature struggled to get up. So before he did I grabbed his club and hit him in the face with it.

I was so focused on surviving I didn't even realize there were 3 more goblins in the room, suddenly I heard a voice

[You are in a life threatening situation, ability will now be used on recently killed corpse]

suddenly the goblin I just killed started to shake and got surrounded by black and purple particles, as It started to stand up its skin was coming off as if it was a banana getting peeled. I started to back up feeling threatened, but suddenly the skeleton attacked the goblins, I had no plans of giving its club back, but it was doing just fine without it. After the skeleton got done tearing those 3 goblins to pieces it came over to me and kneeled. I wasn't an Idiot it was obvious I had caused this goblin's resurrection somehow, then I realized my current ability is basically a better version of necromancy so that's probably what caused it.

As I lowered my head I thought of the corpses coming back to life. And the corpses on the ground became shrouded in dark colored particles similar to the first time, they rose from the ground, and the class was still shocked, not only were 4 of their classmates dead but even after the monsters died they came back to life, was this the end of the world?
