Prologue

Bang! Crash! Lightning danced in the skies followed by the rumbling of thunder

A figure could be seen sitting behind a giant cauldron with 3 legs, the heads of the 4 divine beasts on each corner and a mysterious aura around it, Woosh! Woosh! Ingredients were thrown in accompanied by the bubbling from within the cauldron

"Just one more step.. Until I can form this pill and finally shatter the void and ascend!" The figure spoke with a hoarse voice

One had to know, In order to ascend, one must be at the peak of cultivation and have either a physical body that can withstand the tribulation or use pills such as the one being formed. Amidst the creation of the pill, four figures could be seen in the sky flying towards the same location

Woosh! Woosh! The four figures landed in front of the first figure, "Alchemy God Hou, today is the day you die! We will never let you complete the pill of Ascension" a voice came from one of the figures

Bzz! Bang! Crack! The Alchemy God laughed and sneered "Heavenly Emperor Kong Di, Demonic Emperor Shi Rong, Ice Witch Bai Yazhu and Cloud Sovereign Mao Yu! The four of you together couldn't stop me in the past, what makes you think this time will be different?"

"Since we've come, we naturally have a way to deal with you, alas this time you're trying to form a pill there's no way you can fight the four of us and successfully form it" Heavenly Emperor Kong laughed

"Oh? Do you want to try me? You are but!" Alchemy God Hou snorted, mocking his opponents.

He had already defeated their group in the past. Back then he had only needed a single hand to overpower their group. Now, a thousand years have passed and he had reached the apex of cultivation. Their group posed no threat to him

"You!! Now that you've angered us even your descendants won't have peace, fellow sovereigns CHARGE!!" Heavenly Emperor Kong shouted at his comrades

Bang! Alchemy God Hou split his attention away from the cauldron whilst using his left arm to form a pill flame and shot it at the four

"After losing to you a millennium ago, do you really think we'd be defeated by the same move again? You think too little of us! Everyone get into formation!" Heavenly Emperor shouted

Bang! Boom! As the pill was close to forming, "Damnit now it wants to form? This is a bad time I need to finish them off quickly" Alchemy God Hou thought, then used both hands to attack

Boom! A golden light formed above Heavenly Emperor Kong Di and Cloud Sovereign Mao Yu's heads, they shouted "Hou Yuhao! Face our new technique that is able to kill its way even into the heavens!"

Demonic Emperor Shi Rong and Ice Witch Bai Yazhu appeared behind Alchemy God Hou and a golden light also appeared above their heads, at the same time all four Sovereigns formed hand seals and recited the chant of a technique

"No! The pill is about to form, I'll have to start all over again if I draw my attention away, but I'll die if I don't fight seriously! Yue er, looks like in this life I failed you. If I make it out of this crisis, I will swear to my True Fate that I will complete the pill and shatter the void!!" Alchemy God Hou thought

Bang! He then completely let go of his attention on the cauldron and focused solely on the fight, he shouted "The four of you today shall face the greatest technique I created during my entire lifetime! HAHHH!!! He Shouted with his full strength

Alchemy God Hou used the remaining of his qi to form a thousand hands that were capable of destroying the heaven and earth! "Eat this!!" He shouted as he punched out at his foes

After a while, the Alchemy God was losing to his opponents

Even after using his full strength, Alchemy God Hou couldn't defeat his enemies, he thought internally "Looks like I won't be able to survive this, but at least I can move my soul out of my body and place it into an object."

He then took out a necklace from his ring, "This necklace will do, it will have my entire life's memories and teachings within it. Whoever receives this can help to take revenge and achieve our dream of shattering the void, Yue er!"

Using the last of his strength, Alchemy God Hou used a secret technique to shift his soul out of his body and placed it into the necklace before taking his last breath
