After the Alchemy God passed on the Iron Dragon Fist technique to Yi Zheng, he began practicing. Every martial art technique consists of four stages, the beginning stage, the middle stage, the mastery stage and the perfection stage, with each stage being greatly harder to reach

At the beginning stage of the Iron Dragon Fist Technique, the hands become as hard as regular steel and can easily break through many common weapons to spiritual weapons at the lower Yellow stage. At the middle stage, the bones within the hands begin to shift and become harder than most metals and weapons at the high Yellow stage. At the mastery stage, the hands begin to resemble a dragons claw (can still become normal) and becomes harder than all metals and low Black stage weapons and at the perfection stage, the hands become harder than high level Black stage weapons, enabling them to destroy small mountains

Within the mortal world, spiritual weapons are ranked the same as martial art manuals being the low level Yellow technique , middle level Yellow technique, peak level Yellow technique, low level Black technique etc up to peak level Heaven Techniques

Yi Zheng begun practicing by hitting dark steel trees in the forest which are harder than regular steel, with each punch, his hands became more and more bloody creating a slightly horrifying look.

After a few hours, Yi Zheng's hands became slightly numb from the pain. God Yuhao came out from the necklace and gave him a pill to heal his injured hands. "Hey brat, you've been making some pretty good progress, though your cultivation talent is trash, your comprehension and willpower is pretty good rivaling those even in the 9th world" he praised

"Really? Well if I don't have the will to get stronger, I'll never become a true expert travelling the 9 worlds and protecting my clan from harm" Yi Zheng replied

Seeing that his hands completely healed right away from a single pill, Yi Zheng said excitedly "Amazing! My hands were in a lot of pain but it went away after taking a single pill! Alchemy sure is amazing."

"Of course! Pills made by others may not be so great, but a pill made from I the Alchemy God, how can it be mediocre? Other grade 1 pills may only have a purity of 50%, but I can make them with over 99%, creating a rainbow light reflecting off" Hou Yuhao said with a snort

"Purity of 50%? 99%? What does it mean?" Yi Zheng asked puzzled

"This, well you don't need to know yet. I'll teach you alchemy once you've reached the middle stage in both the Iron Dragon Fist technique and the Cloud Step technique and have reached the 1st layer of the qi condensation stage." Yuhao replied

"Oh, ok, I'll need to work hard, I'll return to my clan once i've learnt alchemy and escape from this forest" Yi Zheng replied

After resting for an hour, Yi Zheng went back to punching the dark steel trees

2 weeks went by in a flash, Yi Zheng who was punching a dark steel tree made a final punch before knocking down the tree. With the tree knocked over, he too fell due to exhaustion.

Huff.. Huff.. Lying down on the ground, Yi Zheng looked up towards the sky and smiled. He said to God Yuhao "Master, I did it.. huff.. huff.. I knocked down a dark steel tree. My hands are now as hard as steel and i'm approaching the middle stage. Now I'm ready to practice the Cloud Step technique." he said

"Good brat, you've done pretty well. You can't make much progress in the Cloud Step technique since you haven't gathered much qi inside your body, so for now I'll give you these basic footwork techniques until you've reached the peak of the body tempering stage." God Yuhao replied

"What? You.. didn't say that before.. huff.. well I'll do that then, and cultivate at night right now I'm in the 2nd layer of the body tempering stage, there's still a while till I reach the peak." Yi Zheng replied

As night fell, Yi Zheng sat inside the cave crossed legged in a lotus position and begun reciting the verse of the Heaven Suppressing Scripture. The human body consists of 12 principle meridians that are associated with the internal organs and 8 extraordinary meridians that act as pathways for the circulation of qi. However due to the Heaven Suppressing Scriptures domineering body tempering, it created an extra 5 extraordinary meridians

With the extra meridians, Yi Zheng's body absorbed an abnormal amount of qi and circulated it much faster than the average person. With each rotation of qi within his dantian and meridians, Yi Zheng's spiritual sea became slightly bigger

The spiritual sea, could be seen when in a cultivating state where the mind is empty and free from thoughts. The larger the spiritual sea, the more qi that can be stored to use

Focusing on his spiritual sea, Yi Zheng was surprised that his spiritual sea which was a single drop of water! He asked whilst puzzled "Master, my spiritual sea was already small since I'm only in the body tempering stage and I had a red spiritual sea, but now it's just a single drop! What happened? I've been able to absorb more qi it should be larger than my previous sea."

His master replied "Of course, though you had to restart your entire cultivation, your foundations are firmer and that single drop is comparable to those at the 3rd or 4th stage of the body tempering stage."

"What? That much from a single drop? Is that why it has a strange color? A person's spiritual sea is classified by colors which are the same as the colors of the rainbow, but mine is gold!" Yi Zheng shouted

"No need to be so surprised, if you didn't even gain that much, how can the technique enable you to overthrow the heavens? You brat, how would you be able to fight those above your stage if you don't have enough qi to fight them. Even if I gave you a peak level Heaven technique, you wouldn't be able to use it." his master replied with a snort

"Also since you've reached the 2nd layer of the body tempering stage and completed the beginning stage of the Iron Dragon Fist technique, you can go hunt some low level savage beasts." he continued

Savage beasts have been around since time immemorial, even before the desolate era. Savage beasts live in areas such as forests, mountains, caves etc and have 9 levels. A level one savage beast is comparable to a cultivator in the 2nd layer of the body tempering realm. Once they have reached the 9th level, they will hibernate until they can breakthrough to become a magical beast.

The stages of a Savage beast are, Savage beast, Magical Beast, Land Beast, Earth Beast, Sky Beast, Heaven Beast, Divine Beast and Holy Beast. However not all beasts are able to evolve, due to the passing of time and the thin bloodline of certain beasts, their talent is affected which lowers their chance of evolving

"I can hunt savage beasts? Great! I can finally eat some meat and also temper my body further, since I'm in the 2nd layer of the body tempering stage I'll run away as soon as there's a savage beast above stage 5" Yi Zheng said with excitement
