DATING DREY {I I}

Lexi's POV:

It's almost seven months now since I said yes to Drey and it's been splendid. Gosh, he's so sweet, the feeling of having a man in my life, it's so great.

Knock knock knock

" Ma, are you in?"

" Yeah, come in"

She came in.

" Ma, it's time for the meeting with Saterite CEO "

" Ok, I'll be there in few minutes "

She left.

I grabbed some documents and headed for the meeting room.

" Good afternoon Miss Davies ". He greeted me.

He's not quite as old as I thought. He looks thirty.

" Good afternoon Mr..."

" Jordan " he said helping me out.

" Good afternoon Mr. Jordan "

" May we get to business?"

" Yeah, sure. Can I have the documents " I asked taking my seat.

" Sure, here it is "

I took the papers and read through it.

" This is nice, you want The Slayers to be your main supplier?"

I asked holding my joy.

" Yes, Miss "

" Ok, here is our proposal,read through it and sign if you agree with the conditions. You have five days to get back to us ". I said handing him a document.

" Thank you Miss Davies, I look forward to doing business with you "

" Thanks to you too ". We shook hands.

Leaving the meeting room, I saw that I've missed a call from Drey. There was also a text from him too. It reads thus,' meet me outside baby '. Perhaps,he wants to take me out again. Let me go and meet him. I must have kept him waiting for long.

OUTSIDE

" Oh, Drey, I've missed you. Thank God you came"

" It's been just two days, princess and you miss me so much "

" What do you mean just two days,it feels like months to me ". I really have missed him. I'm just so happy to see him right now.

" You came to take me out, right?" I asked.

" Nah, I just came to say hello, I should get going ". My heart broke.

" What!". I said almost in a weeping tune.

" Oh my, I was just kidding. I actually came to take you out ". He rushed in a panicked voice

" Really ".

"Yeah. There's this new place in town, I heard that there food is very rich. I want to have a taste and I'm taking you with me, cutie. I came to pick you "." Cool, that's so thoughtful of you, I love you "

" Same here my joy "

" Awwn "

" Nowe, get in the car and let's go ". He said opening the passenger door for me.

I got in. We got to the restaurant in no time. He helped me out of the car and we went to sit at the far end of the restaurant. He's sitted directly opposite me.

The restaurant is so beautiful. It is well ventilated with AC (air conditioner) . The setting reminds me of a garden I saw when I traveled to Canada. The sight was splendid.

" This place is beautiful" I said to Drey.

" I knew you would like it". He replied.

" I don't like it" his face fell. I smiled then added. " I don't like it, I love it." He gave a relieved sigh.

" You scared me, I thought you really don't like the place"

" That's my trick, let's make our orders " I said taking the menu.

" I'll have spaghetti and chicken sauce " I said giving the menu to him.

" I'll take the same, what drink?"

" Chilled apple juice will do ". He said he would take just water.

He called the waiter and gave our orders.

" I just love this place. I mean it's just so serene."

" I love it too " he replied.

" I'm really lucky to have you, you're the best "

" That's mind blowing. I'm also lucky to be with you ". He said with a smile. " You're lucky indeed. Only you can try that "

" Should I feed you?". " Yess plss" I said in a baby like manner.

He took the fork and digged into the food. But instead of feeding me, he's just teasing me with the food. I was pouting like a baby.

" Ok ok, take "

He put it in my mouth this time.

" Umm... Yummy " I mouthed.

" Really, let me have a taste ". He said trying to eat from mine.

" Nah, it's mine,go eat yours "

" No, I want your own "

" It's the same, isn't it?"

* No, yours is more yummy"

" And how do you know?"

" I can feel it".

" Oops, Just take it already"

" I won you" he said in a sing-song.

" Really, I can change my mind you know"

" Ok, sorry ". He answered while eating from my plate.

" But I still don't believe that the whole CEO of Slayers who is supposed to be cold can be this babyish".

" You are babyish too, not only me" I muttered.

" Indeed ".

"You better eat your food before it gets cold ". I said and he nodded while digging into his food. We ate the rest of our meal in silent with occasional glances.

Drey just dropped me off at home. I went upstairs so I could continue the socks I was knitting.

Knitting is fun, I wanna have fun and that's what I'm doing right now. But unlike before, my mind isn't there. I just can't help it. I mean, who wouldn't think about it. Having at intervals can be scary you know.

I also can't believe I fell so easily for Drey. The Lexi I know will need never smile at any one. I don't know what changed but maybe it's because I truly love him. So far,he has kept his promise and stick to my condition.

Sometimes, I think that decision is not fair on him.

I think I'm feeling sleepy. That's why I'm thinking too much. I should really go to sleep. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow".

I climbed the bed after turning off the main light leaving the bed lamp on. I went to sleep.

Drey's POV:

I should take action now. I'm tired of being celibate. My body is not wood and I have needs too but she's not forthcoming.

Grrrn grrrn grrrn

Who is it at this time of the day? Oh my, it's Nolan.

" Hello". I said into the phone.

" Hey dude"

" Why did you call?"

" You should know already. Boss said I should tell you to take action already ". He said just as I feared.

" Action on what dude?". I asked intentionally annoying him.

" Have you gone nuts?, What do you mean action on what. Ok fine. Action on Alexandria ". He shouted. I could imagine his veins popping out.

" Don't block my hear please. Tell Boss I'm just about to take action". I said just before he cut the call.

Now, I really have no choice. Now that I think about it. Ann is nice and I now which it's another person.

Narrator's POV:

Drey Williams is a university graduate that couldn't find a job and thanks to the circumstances around him,he became a member of a notorious company. A company known for the evil activities it does. But only a few know that ' 5 Star ' is not just an ordinary company. They have an underground meeting spot where they plan all their evil activities. The place is well equipped with modern security gadgets.

They took Drey in and he became a bad guy too or should I say,he found himself doing bad things. They pay him to do inhumane things. That was how he found himself set up with Alexandria. Drey, deep in his heart,is a good person. But he stopped thinking about the legality of the job as long as he gets this money.

Drey's POV:

2 days later

" Babe" I told her on one of our dates.

" Yes" she said cutely. Though I know it's not her.

" I want to tell you something"

" What is it?". She asked smiling.

" I want to travel to Grand Bassam "

" What!". She yelled, obviously shocked.

" I don't want you to leave me " she added.

" I won't leave you, not now. I still have some weeks to spend with you before I go. I'm gonna start making arrangements tomorrow. I just wanna tell you ". I told her.

" I want to stay with you for as much as possible before then. How long will you stay there?".

" I shouldn't stay more than two weeks". I replied.

She sighed.

We continued our date but she was less cheerful

A week after ( Lexi's house)

Lexi's POV:

Grrrn grrrn grrrn ( door bell ringing)

Who could it be at this hour? I looked through the door hole.

Oh, it's Drey. He looks disheveled.

I opened the door.

" What happened to you. Why are you like this?". I asked sounding worried. Hell, I was worried.

He called me this morning and told me he's going for an interview and it has to do with his trip. Perhaps something went wrong

" May I come in?". His voice brought me back.

" Yeah, sure". I ushered him in and he sat down.

" What happened, did something go wrong with the interview?". I asked again.

" Hmm". He sighed. " They won't appoint me".

" Why?" I was confused,why won't they appoint him? " I don't have a guarantor" he answered.

" I can guarantee you. Now,is that why you are so worried?".

" No you can't. Only my properties can guarantee me". Oh shit, now I understand. He has nothing of such property.

" I understand you" I said hugging him

" Is there anything I can do to help?". I asked, I really want to help. I can't bear seeing him like that.

". I don't know. The best option for me now is to find someone who can issue his/ her property to me and I will issue it back after the trip with interest. But who's willing to part with their property?". He said in a broken voice.

I sighed,then a thought struck me.

" You said you will issue it back with interest after your trip, right?".

" Yes, but I probably won't find anyone ".

He's my spouse, I love him. I will do anything to help him. Moreso, he's gonna pay interest, that's a good business bb

" Can Slayers guarantee you?". I asked him.

" Wh- what do you mean. Hope it's not what I'm thinking? You really ain't doing that, are you?". He rushed.

" I'm thinking,we are lovers and we are supposed to help each other in time of need. I will issue The Slayers to you and after your trip, you'll return it " I told him b

" Wow,no,no, no. I must be dreaming. Wait, you mean I can still go to Grand Bassam?". He said excitedly.

" Yes babe. I will issue the company to you but I will still be managing it "

" Yeah, sure. Oh God. How lucky am I to find you. You are my angel. I love you so much, you are the best ". He said hugging me.

I smiled. I was happy to see him smile.

" I love you too, my prince. We should do this as soon as possible so that it won't be too late ". I said.

" Ok, tomorrow then ".

" Yes tomorrow. Let me make you dinner before you leave"

" Ok, I'll gladly eat anything you prepare ".
