Chapter 506 ( Blood of Nidhogg - I )
Fifteen minutes later, the duo had arrived at the entrance to the medical section and were waiting for someone to come get them, which didn't take long because Cheadle was running in their direction.
"Sorry for the delay" - said Cheadle as she wiped the sweat from her forehead - "I was in the middle of the last tests on a new toxin. We've discovered that it can serve as medicine thanks to its voracious nature."
"You needn't have been so quick if you were in the middle of an experiment, Cheadle-san" - said the secretary as he grabbed the bridge of his nose.
"Relax, the experiment ended in failure, the toxin is too strong for medicinal use" - muttered Cheadle as she sighed regretfully.
"Is there no way to reduce the power of the toxin?" - Cloud asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"We haven't discovered all the properties of this toxin yet, so it's hard to say" - replied Cheadle with a frown, only to remember one small detail, and that was that Cloud could identify certain things just by looking at an object - "I think I have the solution, but I need your help!"
"You want me to look at the toxin to see if I discover anything?" - Cloud asked as he raised an eyebrow, only to shake his head - "If so, then I have to warn you not to get your hopes up too high because my vision won't necessarily be able to discover much about this poison!"
"That there is a possibility of getting new discoveries about the toxin, is more than enough reason to take a chance" - Cheadle said seriously.
"By the way, isn't Gel helping you?" - The secretary asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"This thing is insufferable" - Gel muttered as she growled angrily because there was no way she could find answers to the mysteries of the toxin that Cheadle had been investigating during her mission with Cloud.
"I see your work started just as we finished our mission," Cloud said as he walked over to the display case.
"Cloud-san, what are you doing here?" - Gel asked in surprise, only to shake her head when she remembered the blond man's special ability - "Stupid question, it's obvious you came to see if you could help us, although I don't understand how you found out we have certain problems with this strange toxin?"
"It was me who told him" - replied Cheadle calmly - "He asked for authorization to check a few documents and books inside our library, and I took the opportunity to ask for your help"

The blood of the legendary dragon that rests among the roots of Yggdrasil. It is unknown how it reached this dimension, but now that you have it in front of your eyes, you might as well take the opportunity.
1- When someone with [Bloodline: Draconic] and [Affinity: Chaotic] consumes Nidhogg's blood, there is a small chance of getting a [Bloodline] upgrade depending on the initial rarity.
2- Consume the [Blood of Nidhogg], there is a 50% chance of gaining Poison Affinity, or 200% Poison Resistance.
3- Consuming the [Blood of Nidhogg], there is a 0.0001% chance of acquiring [Bloodline: Dragon (Nidhogg)], if you fail to get the [Bloodline], there is a 1% chance of gaining 5000 points to a random Stat, there is a 9% chance of gaining 5000 Stats randomly distributed, there is a 20% chance of gaining 2000 points to a random Stats, there is a 69.999% chance of gaining 1000 Stats randomly distributed. The Stats increase only applies to [STR], [DEX], [INT] and [VIT].
4- Consuming the [Blood of Nidhogg], makes there is a 1% chance of getting one of the following Skills: [Knowledge of Yggdrasil], [Corruption Body], [Devourer of Divinities], [Avatar of the End]. There is a very small chance of getting more than one Skill, and if none of the aforementioned skills are obtained, the user has a 25% chance of getting an upgrade to a random Skill.
[Warning! Not having the body skilled enough to consume this blood, produces the lethal poisoning effect, causing death after 30 seconds of agonizing pain].

[Yggdrasil's Knowledge].
Prevents memory loss, and greatly enhances identification skills. When using a skill to gather information, there is a 50% chance of getting [Perfect Information], which causes you to discover all skills, Stats, and conditions of what you have identified.

[Corruption Body].
Allows you to consume diseases and store them inside, then mix or boost them, and thus launch them in a powerful breath of corruption that causes the state [Putrefaction], causing 0.2% of the maximum life of those affected by the [Breath of Corruption] per second, this damage is multiplied by the number of diseases or viruses consumed by the user with a maximum of 5%. The [Putrefaction] state can only be removed by the user himself, after being active for 30 seconds, or with the [Purification(EX)] spell.

[Devourer of Divinities]
Allows the user to consume objects or entities with divine aura and get a [Divinity Fragment]. By accumulating a certain amount of fragments, the user gains increased [Stats], [HP] and [Resistances], as well as an ability to be able to mix different types of energies.

[Avatar of the End]
Allows the user to enter the [Avatar of the End] state, disappearing the world mission, increasing his damage, HP and defenses by 1000%, but causing him to be considered at the same time the [World Boss] state, increasing the damage received by the world's inhabitants by 1% per group that tries to hunt him, with a maximum of 50%.
Destroying the world, causes the user to get a massive increase in Stats, HP and Skills upgrades, but if he is hunted before achieving it, then the user will lose all his progress.
Lose progress: Back to level 1, no [Bloodline], Stats at 1, no Skill, Recruits will return to their worlds and lose their memories, old worlds will be locked, forcing the user to enter high level worlds.

"Blood?" - Gehl asked in surprise, only to frown - "Impossible, not even the most venomous snakes in the world have such a toxic substance in their blood."
"I'm not lying, this blood is from an extremely powerful creature, a dragon to be more precise" - Cloud said seriously as he looked again at the thick dark blood of the chaotic dragon Nidhogg - "As for how it got into their hands, I'm not sure, but it has to have cost a few people their lives.
Gehl was silent as she watched Cheadle nod weakly.
The deaths had been massive because the toxic power of this liquid, was so great that even with normal containers, the transporters ended up poisoned.
"What is the function of this blood?" - Gel asked skeptically because she honestly still couldn't believe what she had heard.
"You're not going to believe this, or even think I'm crazy, but the function of this blood, is to drink it" - answered Cloud while shaking his head - "Although there is a "but", and that is that one has to have the body strong enough to resist the toxic power of the blood".
