7 CHAPTER 7

Anna's POV

My left lung.

My liver. It hurt. My poor poor legs and hands.

My brain and probably my gastric glands too judging by the noises my stomach started making six hours ago.

Wanna know?

Well, I've been walking around with Daniella since 6 am in the morning and guess what? It was 10 pm now. She made me walk in every shop and made me try all the formal dresses in each shop.

She said we didn't have time to eat. But seriously, I was really mad at her now. Our bags were full with so many dresses. I stopped counting them long time ago.

"Dani. I think we should go home now" I said for the nth time today.

"Ok"

"Really? " I said my eyes shining with excitement. Finally, I can go meet the love of my life that had started calling me a long time ago...... my bed.

I can hear it's voice and that of a big pizza too. They're calling for me.

"Once you've tried the row of dresses there" she added making my dreams shatter in a million pieces.

"Rosa Daniella. I'm going home now whether you like it or not. These dresses are more than enough "

"But-"

"No buts. Its not because you're going to a fashion school that you're gonna start behavong like those spoiled kids who don't know the difference between their closets and freaking video drive"

"Its Rodeo drive."

"I don't care. Now help me carry the bags " I said reaching out to carry some of the bags. There were about fifteen of them.

We took a taxi and rode back to the hotel. The butler there helped carry our bags. I went up with him while Dani went to buy food from the restaurant.

I saw Rose again. She looked..... shaken.

"Hey Rose. What's up? "

"The boss is here"

"Oh. Great. Maybe I'll get to meet him. "

"No. You don't understand. He's.... argh. Whatever. You'll meet him. "

She stopped for a moment then muttered. " I hope not"

I looked at her weirdly but went up anyway. I stood in front of the door and fumbled for my keys in my purse... which was with Dani. Great.

Now I have to stand here and wait for her. Ugh. Why me.

I decided to seat down on the floor and wait for her to come back.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming from the stairs but I didn't care. My head was buried in my skirt and I was too lazy to move a muscle.

"Miss. Can I know why you're sitting on the floor in the corridor of my hotel"

"Hmmmm" I answered lazily.

My brain was hazy and it took me some time to process the info. He said my. Oh my God the boss.

I quickly sat up almost breaking my spine in the process but I didn't care.

I quickly fixed my hair then looked at him. I froze. Like a freaking statue. Like the Ice queen or rather king cast a spell on me.

Oh my. He was handsome to say the least. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes. I could probably cut my finger on his jaw and his skin was such an olive tan that the olives could crawl and hide in shame.

Did I say he was handsome earlier?. Well I lied. He's a freaking Greek god.

"Miss. Miss are you okay? "

I blinked once, twice and looked at him.

"Yes sir. "

"Okay. So who are you? "

"I'm here on a one year internship sir. I stay here with my sister but she went to buy food and took the keys with her and she isn't back yet so I'm stuck here. " I said in one breath.

He fished out a card from his pocket and slipped it in a hole in the door which automatically opened.

My jaw dropped. Not because he opened the door but because he has access to our room.

"What the hell". I was angry now. Remember. A hungry man is an angry man and I hate it when someone intrudes my privacy... or has the means to do it. It means I'll constantly have to look behind my back.

"Sir. What is the meaning of this... " I said pointing accusingly at the card.

"It means it is my hotel and I do whatsoever I want. "

"Yes but that doesn't mean you'll intrude on people's privacy " I said taken back at his reply.

This time his eyes darkened and my back was suddenly on the wall.

"You don't fucking tell me what to do" he whispered dangerously low and his face too close to mine for my comfort.

"Hey. I'm back and-"

Daniella froze when she saw the scene before her

"- and I'll be back later? " she muttered awkwardly.

However, the delicious scent of pizza reached my nostrils and-

~ grrrrrrrrr~

Uh-oh. My stomach is angrier than I thought. I couldn't help but the bright red crimson that now decorated my cheeks.

The boss smiled or I thought I saw him smirk because it vanished as soon as it appeared.

"I'll be going now. " he stated in his slight Italian accent that I only noticed now and went away.

As soon as the door was locked, Daniella started squealing and jumping.

"Tell me everything " she said.

Sofia's POV

Friday. The best day of the week. I had just finished collecting the blood samples that Kelly had asked me.

Then I'll go home take a long bath while reading my favorite novel. Lone Eagle by Danielle Steel.

No matter how many times I read that book, I can't seem to get enough.

I sighed in content then grabbed my backpack. I was about to move out when something caught my eye.

It's shiny dark brown surface illuminated by the dim yellow light bulb. Walking ever so slowly with its long thread-like legs.

A cockroach. A freaking cockroach.

It was walking on the door of the men's dress room.

I quickly grabbed a broom and aimed for it when suddenly, the door was yanked open and I fell on a very hard chest... which fell on the floor and felt then something cool on my lips.

Well. It felt cool on my lips but my whole body was on fire. I felt electric sparks right to the smallest atom of my body. If that was even possible.

That's when I realized. I kissed someone accidentally and that was...

Oh no.

As I pulled back, I stared into his blue eyes which were many shades darker, reminding me of the ocean at night.

Neither of us dared moving a muscle or saying anything.

Well. That was until I felt something hard poking on my tigh. I got up quickly, and ran at the speed of light.

I hate you cockroach.
