3 3. A Good Job

The red haired guy pressed the doorbell for probably the 4th time, evidently getting annoyed by the lack of response.

"Is he even home?" He asked the one with glasses.

The boy with mint green hair pursed his lips and nodded.

Waiting for another minute, the shorter one stepped forward and knocked harshly on the door, saying, "If he doesn't open it this time, Imma break down this door and I ain't even kidding."

And as if his threat was actually heard and feared, shuffling footsteps resonated from behind the door and soon it was swung open to reveal a blonde guy, shorter than the other two, clad in a white lab coat and an oversized t-shirt underneath paired with black sweatpants.

He held a plier in one hand and a small booklet which resembled a user manual, in the other.

The guy eyed Rachel from head to toe before shifting his gaze to the other two and eventually letting them in with a small, "Come on in."

The trio followed him in the house without another word.

Two of those guys made their way to the kitchen, leaving Rachel all alone with the mint haired one.

Trying to initiate a conversation and breaking the awkward silence, Hara spoke, "By the way, I didn't catch your name."

The guy addressed, snickered a little and replied,"Not your fault. I never threw it in the first place."

Rachel nodded, waiting for him to continue.

"I'm Henry Norris and I work as a music producer. That horseface who shouted good morning into your face and probably took away the good from your morning, is Will. He's a choreographer. And that blondie you just met, is Archer. He's still a student."

"Oh." Was all what she said, listening to his lengthy yet somewhat interesting introduction of his squad.

"I AIN'T TAKIN' HER, NO MATTER WHAT!" A loud voice with evident aggravation and denial escaped the kitchen.

"Take a seat." Henry suggested as he patted the empty space on a smalll couch.

"I'll be back in a minute." He informed as he left the dumbfounded lump of confusion called Rachel Bennett, huddled on the couch.

As promised, he came back with the two men following him in less than a minute.

Will sat right next to her and Henry laid down on the sofa across them, leaving Archer no option but to slump on the floor.

"So?" Rachel urged them to speak getting rid of the prolonged silence.

"So, Archer here is working on a project for his internals and in order to complete it within the allotted time, he needs someone to assist him 24/7."

Hoseok explained pointing at the blonde.

Rachel nodded in understanding.

"But don't you have any classmate or friend who can help you? Like paying someone to assist you for a university project, isn't it too much?" Rachel asked, her nose scrunched up in confusion.

After a moment of silence, Will spoke up again,"Actually, all those unfortunate people grouped with him for the project, ditched him sooner or later."

Rachel looked puzzled as she questioned,"Why though?"

Will looked at Henry and both of them seemed to have some mental exchange before Henry decided to take the lead.

"He has a temper. And a really bad one." Henry spoke, fixing his glasses.

Rachel hummed in response and looked at the boy in question who seemed to have bored holes into her with that glare as their eyes met.

Shivering a little, she snapped her head away.

"So, when do I start working?" Rachel piped up, glancing back and forth between Henry and Will.

"Right away!" Will chirped with unreasonable excitement and thrill evident in his tone.

"Even if I wished so, I couldn't. I have to ensure that all the stuff I'm going to need in daily life is here and bring up all what's missing and oh wait... FUCK!" She exclaimed as she jumped up from the couch.

"I thought you said you stopped that 5 years ago." Henry commented.

Hara, who resembled a student that recalled a test they have which they didn't study for a minute before the school starts, didn't make any usual playful remark but simply stood rooted to the ground.

"I.." she began, sounding distressed by the tone,"I forgot my bagpack back in the park!"
