The book talks about how a house that was once the most envied by all, went on to make the most dark and creepy that has ever been seen. In this house, there are ghosts who, tormented by their bad decisions and by being carried away by their curiosities, are now grieving the house. On the one hand, the book talks about always having to be around good friends, through thick and thin. On the other hand, the book talks about how appearances can be deceiving, that not everything is what it appears to be. He also talks about how we are not Romeo and Juliet, because we are human beings and we make mistakes; but it is up to us to know how to amend them. At the same time, it speaks of the internal struggle that we have between what is right and what is wrong. In the first story called "Hell" it talks about how two women made the worst decisions that led them directly to hell and released all the evil that was contained through a door. Will we be prepared to face this evil? Will they be able to drag us to hell? Those are some of the many questions that the characters in each story will ask themselves throughout the book.
