Introduction

In my world, each and every person has a 'spirit animal'. When kids turn 5, they first see their animal as a very faint ghost. When they get older, the 'ghost' becomes more vibrant, and gets a clearer shape. By the Time you are 10, you should be able to tell what it is.

There are 2 types of spirits: Normal, and Mystic. Normal spirits give off a whitish-blue color while Mystics give off a pitch-black color. Although they have a different color, it is very hard to differentiate the two types when you are young. This is because when the spirit first appears, it is always a faint white. Again, by the time you are older it will become more vibrant with either black or pastel blue.

Normally, only you can see your spirit, but there have been cases as to where special people, or, Mystics (usually the golden bats) can see other people's spirits by having contact with them. -which is pretty ironic if you ask me.... get it? Because bats can't see....? Okay I'll go now...- But when bats have physical contact with other Mystics, their eyes get blind for about a month. This is because, since Golden bats have such sensitive and special eyes, when they 'see' a spirit which is the same or stronger than them, their eyes get blinded by their power.

The Normals include normal animals such as pigs, dogs, lions, etc, etc. The Mystics on the other hand include abnormal or, get this, 'mystical' animals such as dragons, nine-tailed foxes, and phoenixes. When an animal goes extinct, any other people with the same animal as their spirit immediately dies, because that animal no longer exists, but this only happens for the Normal people.

*whispers* "hey people are asking who you are"

Oh! Right! Sorry, I forgot to tell you.

My name is Midnight Kuronuma, and I'm a dragon. The most feared and strongest of all Mystic types.
