22 Chapter 20: Boy Issues

I walks to the cafeteria, trying to find Isla. I spot her in the line and she waves me over. I go to her, pushing past people.

"Soooo..."she smirks.

"Shut up!"I tell her, blushing.

"What happened with lover-boy?"

I glare at her and pout. "Will ya shut up?!"

She laughs and pokes my side. "Nope."

"Hmph."

"So what did happen?"

"Nothing much. He just saved from getting crushed by someone."

"What do you mean?"she asks, curious.

"I was walking out of the classroom when this boy comes out of nowhere, stumbling forward, and he almost falls on me. But 'you know who' saves me by pulling me out of the way into a hug. And we stayed hugging for a few seconds. He even laughed."I explain, my cheeks heating up from remembering the incident.

Isla stares at me, like if I just told her I want to drop out of school.

"And you're still not sure he likes you??"

"I-I don't know...I don't just wanna assume things."I say.

"Hmm.."she responds. "I say just go for it. If he doesn't like you back, it's his loss. Plus, you won't have to be wondering anymore."

"You have a point, but I'm still scared....I don't wanna just confess out of nowhere. And it'll be humiliating if he says no."I reply, playing with my fingers nervously.

"Who cares? Do it quietly and no one will know. And if they do, silence them."she says, smirking.

"Elaborate."I say, eyeing her.

"Ya know..."she makes a slicing movement across her neck and laughs.

"Isles!"I laugh, too. "I mean if that's the only way."

"Exactly."she jokes.

"Hi, Y/N!"Mina says as she walks by.

"Hi, Mina."I wave back smiling.

She smiles and turns back, walking with Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari.

"Odd...Bakugou is usually with them."I mumble.

"What'd you say?"Isla asks.

"O-oh nothing!"

"Oh."she says, turning back to her phone. "My mom is gonna be home late. Wanna come over?"

"Sure!"I smile.

"Then we can talk about you boy issues."she laughs.

"I-...SHUSH!!"I smack her lightly and she laughs harder.

"Hmph!"I cross my arms, pouting and looking away. Isla keeps laughing and starts texting her mom back..

I spot where Mina and the rest them sat down. Kaminari, Sero, and Kirishima are laughing at something and Mina is scolding them. I see Bakugou walking up to them. I keep watching more intimately now. Kirishima seems to tell Bakugou what they're laughing at and he just rolls his eyes, but smiles.

Wow didn't know he could do that.

Mina pulls Kaminari's hair and he yells, telling her to stop. She smiles, pleased with herself. She catches me staring and waves. Everybody looks at who she's waving at and spot me. They all wave, excpet Bakugou. My face flushes red and I wave back, slightly embarrassed.

~BakuSquad P.O.V~

"You said you wouldn't tell anyone about that, Kaminari!"Mina says, annoyed and pulls Kaminari's yellow hair.

"O-oww! Mina! I'm sorry alright!"he whines. Sero and Kirishima just start laughing even more.

Bakugou smiles at the idiots.

"Hmph!"Mina says, letting Kaminari go. Kaminari rubs his head, pouting.

Mina spots Y/N staring at them. She waves at her and Y/N smiles and waves back, blushing a little.

They all wave at her and Bakugou looks away.

"Is that..blush on your cheeks, Bakugou?"Sero says, teasingly.

"No! Shut up you bastard!"he yells defensively.

"You know what, Sero? I see it, too."Mina says, laughing at Bakugou.

"Could it be because of Y/N? She is super pretty and talented. Isn't she, Bakugou?"Kaminari joins in.

Sero snickers as the angry blond boy's ear go red.

"SHUT UP!!"he yells at them as they all laugh at him.

"I like Y/N! You should ask her out!"Mina says.

"I don't like her!"Bakugou says, annoyed.

"Mhm, your facial expressions say otherwise. It's obvious you care more than you let on."Mina says cheekily.

"Mrgh!"he groans, annoyed. "Whatever."
