Hayden was so excited to go to school and his mother let out a small laugh.

"Why are you so excited baby?" His mother questioned.

Hayden turned towards his mother and smiled.

"Because today we are learning about soulmates! Plus, since everyone in our class turned 10 already, we will all find out who our soulmates are!"

His mother shook her head and ruffled Hayden's long midnight black hair.

Hayden walked to his elementary school with a smile on his face and a bounce in his step.

When Hayden arrived at school, the bell had rung already. He rushed to his class so he wouldn't be late to hear the teacher explaining the Soulmate concept.

He made it just in time.

His teacher, Ms. Millie began to explain to the entire 4th-grade class about the Soulmate concept.

"In this world there are Soulmates. Everyone is born with one or in rare cases, multiple. When everyone turns 10 years old, their Soulmate's full name will appear somewhere on their body resembling a tattoo. Since there are some people with the same name in this world, when you meet your soulmate, your mark will burn or sting. However, there is a possibility that you may not know a person is your soulmate if you do not know their name first."

"Why?" A boy blurted out.

"This is because names hold power in regards to soulmates. When a soulmate says their name to you, it activates the soulmate mark, causing it to sting or burn." Ms. Millie said as she looked at the children to make sure they were still listening to her.

The children were all focused on what she had to say.

A little girl in the far corner raised her hand.

"Yes, Julissa?"

"Ms. Millie, how do we know if our soulmate is a girl or boy?" Julissa asked.

"That's a great question! If the name is red, that means your soulmate is a boy but if the name is blue, that means your soulmate is a girl. If this mark disappears, then this means your soulmate is no longer in this world, meaning that they died." She stated as she watched the children's eyes grow wide in shock.

"Now, in order to find out where your soulmate's name is, we will be going to the nurse's office where she will examine you. The soulmate mark will only appear with a special injection. Without the injection, the mark will be invisible to everyone, including yourself. Let's form a line class!" Ms. Millie shouted.

The children complied and in no time, several students were examined by the nurse.

It was so finally Hayden's turn.

He excitedly slipped into the nurse's office.

"Name?"

"Hayden Archer."

"Got it. Extend your arm please."

Hayden nodded and gave the nurse his left arm. She cleaned the injection site with an alcohol wipe and she injected him with the shot.

After a few minutes, the nurse motioned him to step into a separate room.

In the other room, there was another nurse. The nurse then brought a machine that looked like a metal pole and lifted it up and down Hayden's body.

The machine made a beeping noise when it passed by Hayden's chest. Hearing the sound, the nurse examined the machine.

On the machine, there were four names that were in the color red.

Damien Armani

Sinclair Russo

Matteo Moretti

Cassius Black

The nurse smiled.

"It looks like you have four soulmates and they are all boys. Your soulmate marks are all located on your chest."

Hayden smiled.

"I knew they would be boys! Thanks!" Hayden said as he ran off.

When Hayden came home, he barged into his house.

His father was back home from work and his mother was there too.

"Mother! Father! I have four soulmates and they are all boys!" Hayden screamed excitedly.
