Ara now can understands the meaning of eyes are the window of the soul. At this moment, when she stares into his pretty blue eyes, she can see the deep haunting and sadness blanketed by a layer of masked happiness. She can see how the melancholy look in his eyes slowly morphed into surprise and shock, before a wave of relief hit them hard, sending it tumbling further down into oblivion.

He looks at her in disbelief, as if she is too divine of a being to grace him with her presence.

He looks at her as if her smile is the only thing that could possibly matter.

How that even makes sense?

He just saw her eyes, not even her entire face, let alone her smile.

But nothing of that matters at that moment. Because unbeknownst to her, her eyes shine with the same relief, the same happiness in his eyes when she looks at him.

But of course, how can she forgets? Luck is not on her side.

Too short of a time staring into those gorgeous eyes, in the next second everything suddenly went black. She couldn't see. Darkness swallow her sight and not a ray of light could be seen. She wonders, is she suddenly went blind? Is the God hates her that much? To add on to the already suffocating pain she already have her entire life. Amidst of she questioning the purpose of life, she suddenly feels different, a physical difference.

The feeling certainly is not pleasant, her head throb strongly, and her entire being feels weird. Her ears ringing sharply, forcing her to cup them with her large hand as she doubles over.

Wait a moment.

Large?

Her heart thumps crazily against her ribcage. Something feels insanely not right.

And then she feels it. There's no weight hanging on her chest and head like usual. Her legs and arms feel longer with muscles rippling under her clothes. She is an assassin, as in a paid killer. Yes, she have muscles and her body is lean as a result years of hard training. But this, this muscles are the kind of a man should have.

And what about the weight between her legs?

What the hell.

Ara herself can't answer that because she doesn't fucking know what is happening to her right now!

When her ears stop ringing, she started to register the shouting around her in panic. She open her eyes, bringing her hands in front of her eyes.

Long, elegant fingers.

Something on her wrist catches her eyes. It's a soulmark. And it's just a letter. Like hers.

She caress the cursive 'O' letter on the wrist. Under her own eyes, the line to shape the 'O' suddenly glow with... gold?! before it dimmed back to black.

A soulmark should turn silver and stay silver when a person met their soulmate.

But his, she guess, and maybe hers too, is gold and it did not stay gold.

Another mystery meaning another wave of headache for her.

She turns her attention back to her body and the already there frown, turned deeper.

This body belongs to a man. From the corner of her eyes, she can just see the platinum blond hair on her head now. Ara takes a deep breath to calm her crazily beating heart. She have an idea of what is happening to her right now and to be sure...

She glances to the previous shadow from her peripheral vision in front of her. But guessing and truly knowing are very different of a level. Nothing could ever prepare her when she saw the blinding truth in front of her, even when she predicts it. Her eyes widen nonetheless when she saw herself, no her body, on the floor in Alaric's arm unconscious. She watches him slaps her face gently as he murmurs her name. Her Bear panic striken face is bare for the world to see, as he clasps his tiny hand in hers and shaking her body slightly, joining in murmuring her name and wishing that she would wake up.

How can she wake up when her soul is not in there?

Seeing she won't wake up at that moment, with a hand under her knees and another supporting around her upper body, Alaric lift her body up in his arms and rushes out of the room.

There's just one explanation running through her mind.

Soul Exchange.

She is in her soulmate's body. So that will mean, she has a soulmate!

A choked sob forces out of her throat.

A shaky smile stretches out her face as realization truly hit her. She couldn't believe this. She is not soulmateless. She has a soulmate, the one who will love her and she will love for the rest of their. Her significant other. Her eyes started to tear up for the unexpected happiness.

But, is she good enough for him?

"Hey Isaac, you okay?"

A velvety voice rumbled near her.

Ara is still frozen, too shock to move but then she started to notice someone is in front of her, his hand on her shoulder.

"Zack, you okay? Why are you shaking? Come on, you can't continue with you like this."

The man claps her shoulder once before he turns.

Through her blurry sight, she could make out a body of a man with black hair as he pulls her away from the stage to the back and into a room.

She still couldn't walk properly like a man with the weight hanging between her legs that swings with her movement.

She blushes.

Is this what it feel like to be a man?

Ara~

The playful suggestive tone her other consciousness, Bella uses makes her blushes harder.

She blinks her remaining tears away as she makes out the room they are in. The room is like any other room of an artist that they use before coming up on stage. The room is quite large, with white sofas surrounded a small black coffee table that fulls with food and drinks in the middle of the room. A mirror hanging on the wall of the corner with white dresser and a white bench in the front.

And men.

Hot men scattered around the room, chatting and eating casually as if they have done this millions of time before.

Ara quickly looks down on the floor when heads started to turn to her and the raven haired man as they enter the room.

The man who name she doesn't know yet sat her down on the sofa as he plops down beside her.

"What's wrong with him?"

"I don't know." the man beside her retorted.

She frowns.

What is she doing right now? Is she telling them that she is their friend's soulmate or what?

In dillema, she puts her elbows on her knees and laces her fingers together as her leg bounces in nervousness. What should she do?

"Isaac, what's wrong?"

She ignores the question as she thinks. Leg still bouncing, she mess up her hair with her hands as she grunts. The room is silent besides her movement, maybe they are giving her time to pull herself together. She huffs. She decides to do what Alaric will do in situation like this, to follow her instinct as in, 'fuck it'.

Already having made a decision, she straighten herself and turns towards the raven haired man besides her to explain her situation.

"Look—"

But that is the only word that leave her mouth as she looks into the bright golden eyes of her soulmate.

Soulmate.
