Chapter 1.

Two days earlier

"Rein let's go! Get your ass up and let's go!" Carmelo yelled from downstairs. I didn't know what was going on but Melo was acting beyond weird. Leaving from our huge master bedroom I stood at the top of the stairs. "Baby why are you yelling? What's going on?" I asked confused. It was 2:00 in the afternoon and I was tired from work. Lucky for him I was off for a whole week due to maintenance of our building. "Let's go I'll explain later. Your bag already packed, bay let's go." Finally giving in we grabbed our things and headed out. Almost a hour in the car I already noticed where we were headed. "Baby why are we going to your parents house?" I asked even more nervous. His parents loved me surprisedly. Normally the parent field is like a big no for me. "We'll talk baby I promise." He said focusing on the road. Once we got there he grabbed our things and we approached the house. The Belies were nice people who lived an affordable lifestyle. They weren't too fancy or flashy but more conservative. Letting us in he sat our things to the side then grabbed my hand. Leading us through the house we stopped by the den as his mom sat there as if she was waiting for us to arrive. It was kind of weird and I was still confused. "Baby go sit down I got to go grab dad from his study." Carmelo said letting my hand go. Looking at his mom as she smile at me I sit down. "Hey Ava were you expecting us?" I asked. "I sure was." She said not giving me much info clearly. "Why are we here? If you don't mind me asking." I asked. "Your about to find out as soon as my husband join us." Ava said still smiling. Moments later Carmelo and his dad is standing in front of us. Only Mr. Belies is not smiling he looks super serious. Carmelo insist that his dad join his wife. Which he does by going over to her and sitting down. "Son you have the floor." His dad says looking him in the eye. Melo then walks up to me and grab me from the couch. Then he gets on one knee as he looks up at me. I swear I'm about to pee on myself I'm beyond nervous. "I know your confused but you can almost guess now why I'm kneeling in front of you right now. Baby you have been apart of me for Eight long years dealing with me and everything that comes with me . I'm so blessed and grateful to have you in my life. Your all I could ever ask and wish for. Your love for me , your faith in me I adore it. Your so beautiful inside and out. From your big brown eyes to your unique sandy brown hair. I'm kneeling down for you to ask your hand in marriage. Rein Jamila Larson will you marry me?" He pulled out this ring so big and bright I almost fainted. My mouth was on the floor. His parents looked so happy. I was standing there in tears. "Baby answer me." He said snapping me back into reality. "Yes baby I do!" I said excited. He placed the ring on my finger and stood to his feet giving me the biggest kiss and hug. His parents congratulated us as he grabbed my hand leading us towards the kitchen. It was roses everywhere. The kitchen was filled with balloons and flowers. Candles were lit and food was everywhere. I couldn't believe my eyes this was the first time I seen Melo romantic side. I was loving all of this. Sitting at the table his parents came in after us to cater to our every need. Serving us wine and food. Did I die and go to heaven? I had to pinch myself like twice. "So what you thinking baby I see you pinched yourself twice." Damn he notice everything for real. "Baby only because this is amazing I love it. You did all this for me?" I asked shocked beyond measures. "Well yes bae I love you and you deserve this." Melo said smiling as we ate our food. "I'm surprised too I've never seen my son like this." Ava said hopefully in a good way. "True say I'm so happy I love you too baby." I said now eating my lobster tail which was bomb. Who cooked don't matter it was on point. Once we got done he walked me upstairs to the guest bathroom. Rose petals lead us to the tub. The lights were dim and candles were surrounding us. It was even rose petals in the bath water. Carmelo took my clothes off and guided me in the tub. "Relax for a minute baby is the water nice and warm for you?" He asked. "Yes baby it's perfect." Smiling at me he then grabbed the bottle of Moët from the bucket of ice and the wine glass next to it. Pouring it for me he handed it to me as I sat back and sipped while I soaked my aching body. "You just chill out I'll be back." He said getting up. Oh he didn't have to tell me I was chilling alright and enjoying all of this for real. Moments later he came back in with a tray of strawberries and sat next to me. Feeding them to me he just didn't know how bad he was turning me on. No lie he already knew I wanted him bad. Yes in his parents house. "How was your week baby you been stressed out." He asked still sitting next to me spoiling me. "It was rough I mean my boss is a jackass. All he do is stack paperwork on me and bitch at me when I don't have all the shit done in less than an hour. Honestly I just want to have my own journalism company. I'm tired of working with dumb ass people." He laughed at me. "Baby you will trust me it'll work out." He said. Getting me out the tub he put my robe on and grabbed me inside the bedroom. Closing and locking the door I took that robe right on off. Pushing him on the bed I kissed all over him. "Mmm." He whispered as I kissed all over his body. "Damn girl." He said while staring at me deep in the eyes . Grabbing me he took a nice look at me drooling over me like always . "Fuck baby you so damn fine." He says holding me in his arms.
