5 Beaten Up By A Beast Warrior

The red orb and the black orb then took their original forms. Two beasts appeared in front of Leo. But for some reason, he wasn't happy.

In fact, his expression showed complete dissatisfaction.

Yes, the one in the red color transformed into a red Rooster – A Low-Level Farm type Beast and the one in black color, transformed into a black colored dog – a Mid-Level Pet type Beast.

After seeing these two beasts, Leo would have almost fainted. Just yesterday he was dreaming to become the strongest out there, and now, his Beast Souls turned out to be utter trash.

He opened his eyes right away after witnessing this. The crystal ball too showed their 3D projection.

Leko had already returned after leaving the kids at the orphanage. In fact, he had been waiting for thirty minutes.

Leo had been in the same position for almost an hour finally after which when he opened his eyes, the crystal ball started to shine/

At first, the analyzer was surprised.

"Oh my God! A dual Beast Soul wielder!", he was surprised to see that a boy out in the boonies had such talent.

Leo remained quiet as the Analyzer and Leko talked.

"Dual Beast Souls? Do you mean, he has a lot of talent?", Leko asked.

"Referring to him as just having talent would be belittling him."

"As you know, having two beast souls is rare, out of every 1000 cultivators, only one of them has dual beast souls."

"And this kid, he is one of them.", he said with a happy expression.

Leko was completely surprised and astonished by what he was hearing. Both of them were excited to see what Beast Souls he would possess.

Well, to their disappointment, he had two trash Beast Souls.

"Ha…"

"For the first time in the entire history we saw someone with dual trash beast souls…", the analyzer's expression changed entirely.

Earlier, he had called others to take a look, but after seeing his beast souls, their interest vanished.

"Haha, look at that Rooster and that Dog…"

"I can't believe that someone with a Dual Soul has such pathetic Beast Souls…", at least one of the analyzers had a different reaction, but it was no good.

It wouldn't cheer him up. Instead, it made him feel worse.

His dreams and everything felt crumbling. Without saying anything else, he ran away towards the church while drops of tears drenched his face.

'This is the first time I've seen him cry…', Leko said to himself.

He had been taking care of Leo, who was left outside his orphanage since he was just a month old. Not once, even at that time, he hadn't cried even once.

Leko thought that Leo had some problem or was mentally ill, but as he saw him grow, he was reassured that all those were his delusions.

Leo would help Leko a lot and he was definitely his favorite child among all other kids. Even his name 'Leo' was taken from his own name – Leko!

Yes, because he was the first child he found and raised, he thought of him as his own son. Although he had the same feeling with others, his attachments and bonds with Leo were greater.

He turned towards the analyzers and said, "That was wrong, you shouldn't have said this to a young child like him."

Leko started debating and arguing with the analyzers.

The Analyzer was quite arrogant and felt as if his pride was hurt when a poor peasant such as Leko spoke against him. Of course, a fight broke out which left Leko gravely injured.

Leko was a normal man, he had never even awakened his Beast Soul – he never got a chance, to begin with. But the Analyzer who hit him was already an Lv.18 Beast-Warrior.

So it was obvious who would win.

Regardless, the Analyzers then soon left the small village as their work was over. Of course, Leko wasn't treated and abandoned by them near the forest for going against their will.

Yes, they purposefully threw him just inside the forest. The smell of blood would attract countless beasts. Even if they were low-level beasts, they would be more than enough to kill Leko.

Since his legs were gravely injured as well, he could hardly move.

*blink blink*

"Ha…"

'I can't believe I ended up fighting with those of higher ranks…'

'I must be a fool…', Leko said to himself.

He looked at the sky which was slowly getting darker. The stars were visible and the cool wind that brushed off his body made him feel a little better.

But the forest felt awfully quiet.

Leko was trying his best to stand up but was failing again and again. He could hardly muster any strength in his body.

As mentioned earlier, when a person is born, he is automatically Level 1. But despite that, he won't be called or given the title of Beast Cultivator. That is because, their Beast Souls haven't been identified, analyzed, and awakened.

The process of identification and analysis is done by the analyzers whereas, for awakening, one has to go and hunt a beast and eat its heart raw!

Only then would the person's body allow further growth. His beast soul would awaken and he would get his first skill. Then the next time a person should eat a heart will be when he reached level 10!

For Leko, he had never eaten one and thus he was stuck at Level 01. Even at the edge of the forest, which has some fences to guard against some low-level beasts, they are usually useless.

The beasts that roam around the edge of the forest have a level ranging from 1 to 15. As we go deeper, one would find stronger beasts.

But oh well, right now, Leko's life was in danger.

The leaves and bushes suddenly made noises. Obviously, the noise was because of the wind, however, a weird presence could be felt.

Despite being level 01, he could feel the presence since he was in a life-death stage.
