Just distance away from his grandfather, Ye Yun saw another old man. It was the Meng family patriarch, his supposed to be grandfather-in-law. In the past when his parents were still with them, this old fox almost begged his father to agreed to the marriage. Because both of his parents are strong, even though they knew that he couldn't cultivate because of his meridians they still want to marry the Meng family granddaughter to him.

But when his parents didn't return they act cold and distant towards him. They even sometime join the fun in mocking him. All of that was carved in Ye Yun's mind and he won't forget about it.
