10 Elder Hua

The two man was dressed in crimson robe, their face is covered by a red mask which only revealed their eyes. They were moving in the shadows silently as the slowly neared the camp. The people in the camp who was resting didn't have any idea that a predator was near them. The guards who was supposed the stand and patrol the area was sitting with their eyes closed.

"Brother Five, look at them. It looks like they are inviting us to kill them" one of the robed man said as he pointed at the camp.

"They are just a bunch of ignorant fools waiting to be slaughtered. How can one of the great families hire a bunch of useless beings. But that works better for us, it will make our job easier" Brother Five replied as his eyes turned cold.

"How about we make a bet on who kill the most. The loser must do one thing for the winner, how about it Brother Five?" Brother Six said.

"Alright, I agree" Brother Five replied as they both take out their weapons. Both of them were now holding a short sword in both of their hands. Each short swords have the same crimson blood colored. One will realize how many person they had already killed to make this short sword blood colored.

"How about I join in your bet" just before Five and Six were about to make their move. They heard a voice from behind which startled them. They both knew that whoever that voice came from was not ordinary. To be able to silently sneak behind them without even them noticing was definitely not ordinary. That's why the first thing they do was to jump back and create some distance between them.

When Five and Six look at the direction where the voice came from, there they see a young man wearing a pure white clothes with a white fox on his shoulder staring at both of them. They both release their Qi to try to see the cultivation level of the young man, but then they realize that there is no Qi in his body. Which means he can't cultivate and that the young man was a mere mortal.

Thinking that the young man is a mortal, Six said, "Young man how dare you scare us brothers. Because of that don't blame me for being ruthless. Just blame your luck for being meeting us"

"Young man there is something I need to correct about what my brother here said. You definitely DID NOT scare us brothers. We just had the urge to jump. Remember you DID NOT SCARE US" Five said with a straight face. It was as if what he was saying is true. If his brothers knew that a mortal managed to sneak behind them without them noticing, they will definitely laugh at them. He then gave Six a stern look as if saying him to shut his mouth.

But unknown to Five, Six thought of different things so he said, "But brother Five the kid really scared me. How can you say that it didn't scared us" his voice was like a little kid that was wronged.

Hearing his dumb brother's words, Five face immediately turned dark, this dumb brother of his can't even understand what he means. How can he just accept that he got scared because of a mortal. So Five has no choice and shouted at his brother, "Just shut your mouth! No one will think that you are a mute if you don't talk!"

"Who's right there!!"

What the two didn't realize was that they are talking in their normal voice, which is loud. They forgot to talk in the way were no one will hear them. The people in the camp already heard their loud voices and came to check.

"Fvck! They are from the Blood Hall!" a guard who saw the crimson red clothing immediately shouted. Although he was just a small cultivator, he still knew some information. The Blood Hall is a notorious organization in the empire that mainly focuses in assassinations. There is even a saying that if your name is written in the Blood Hall, you won't be able to escape death from them.

Dozens of people then came out of their tent to go where they shout came from. When they saw the two person wearing a crimson red robes, they immediately readied their weapons. They instantly surrounded the two while staring at them with killing intent, while some with fear.

"Fvck!! This is all your fault!!" Five seeing that their situation is bad, shouted angrily at Ye Yun. If not for the sudden appearance of this brat, they will have an easy time completing their task. Now that they are surrounded, don't even think of completing the task, even escaping alive will be difficult.

"DIE!!" Five firmly gripped his short sword and decided to clash against the man who was holding a sword. Six like his brother also attack and aim for the man holding the axe. They both moved swiftly like an agile wind and aim to strike at their opponents vitals.

"Do you really think that you two can do whatever you want here. Do you really think that your Blood Hall can do whatever they wants" a cold voice sounded in the area accompanied by a powerful pressure. The two brothers felt the surrounding air turned heavy and was forced to let go of their weapon. Their whole body started to shake as they were both forced to kneel in the ground.

The two brothers gritted their teeth to fight against the heavy pressure and tried to look up. Behind the two towering man was an old man wearing blue robe. His hands were behind his back as he looks like an amicable person. But when they realize who it was, blood drained from the faces of the two brothers.

"He...he...he, I never thought I will see the famous Great Elder Hua here. It is my fortune in seeing you today" Five knew that they were already dead when he saw who appeared. It was a Great Elder of a great family. They are only below the patriarch and above the rest. They hold great powers not only in their family, but also in the capital. There is only a small number of people in the Blood Hall which can fight this old man, and one of them is his first brother who gave this task on them.

"Oh, so you know this old man" the old man seems surprised to be known by a small fry like this in front of him, "Never thought that the infamous Blood Hall will send someone like you. It seems your Blood Hall is underestimating my family"

"He...he...he, No need for too much talk old man. Even if you are here, it didn't guarantee the safety of your people. When eldest brother came to know that you are here, I believe he will personally take action. Old man you and your young lady will never arrive at the capital alive. You all will be buried here in this forest" after that, Five and Six nodded at each other and slam their palms in their chest. Both of them spat a mouthful of fresh blood and smile at the old man. Their smile was so creepy and horrifying that scared the people around. The Qi inside their body then started to rampage and their bodies began bloated.

"Run quickly!! They are trying to detonate their Qi!" the old man shouted as he began to recite some incantation. His eyes glowed in gold as a transparent golden dome appear between him and the two brothers.

*boom*

The explosion shook the whole area, luckily the old man manage to contain some of the explosion. If not, there will definitely be casualties in them.
