Burning Hall

In the village, the members of the caravan was getting ready. Today was the day when they will leave this village and continue their journey towards the capital. Elder Hua still wearing a blue robe was standing beside the white carriage and had a complicated expression on his face.

"Grandpa Hua, what are you thinking?" inside the carriage Hua Yue with her maid was sitting comfortably. Her grandpa was like this ever since yesterday. She wanted to know what is the reason for her grandpa to act this way.

"Oh, its just that the young man I was watching was gone since yesterday. From what the manager of the inn where he stay said, he seems to leave the inn in the middle of the night, just after that event happen" Elder Hua said.

When Hua Yue heard the her Grandpa Hua mentioned the 'young man' she instantly knew who he was talking about. It must be that mortal young man who was wearing a pure white clothing, "Maybe he just doesn't want to be a part of the caravan anymore. Or, maybe Grandpa Hua you are just overthinking things and he was really a mortal. Maybe he realize that it is dangerous for him to travel with us as after that ambush"

"If I really was overthinking things and he decided to travel alone, it will be much more dangerous as he was only a mortal. It will be much more safety for him if he travel with us if that's the case" Elder Hua turn and started to help organize the caravan. 'That young man is definitely not an ordinary mortal'

Travelling in the dense forest, Ye Yun could be seen sitting atop of a large of a giant snake tailed chameleon. In his lap was the little white fox who had its large ears perked up while its eyes were closed.

It has been already a day when Ye Yun left the village and decided to travel by himself. As he was traveling non-stop, there was not a single beast that attack them in the forest even though they encountered them. Ye Yun thought that it must have been because of the giant chameleon that he summoned.

Integrating with his second soul, Ye Yun realizes that the rinnegan was overwhelmingly powerful. He acquired several techniques or jutsus that even in this world will be difficult to acquire. But what pique his interest the most was that he can summon the so called 'Six Paths of Pain'.

His destination this time is a place called 'Burning Hall', to know the location of the Burning Hall. Ye Yun extracted some information in one of the guards in the village. The reason he was going to the Burning Hall is because he needed one item that can only be found in that place. The system issued a mission to get the 'Flaming Lotus Flower' which can only be found in the Burning Hall.

The Burning Hall is a branch of a major sect in the empire, the Burning Palace. The disciples that they train mostly practices cultivation which were related in fire. Their attacks are both destructive and powerful. It is said that the Burning Palace is founded by the God of Fire in the past when he roams the land. Story said that when the God of Fire was young, he was the most ruthless and powerful in his generation. Everyone become his stepping stone until he reaches god hood and he eventually transcends a new height in cultivation.

Several minutes later, Ye Yun can already see his destination. There are several numbers of young and old cultivators in the area practicing their martial arts. Ye Yun deduced that even though this is only a branch of the Burning Palace, this type of power can annihilate every powers in the Crystal Water City.

Burning Hall

Inside the room of the sect master, several elders of the Burning Hall was present. In front of them was a group of female cultivators wearing tight fitting green robe sitting. Each of everyone of the female cultivator were beautiful.

"What does the beautiful ladies of the 'Jade Flower Sect' wanted in my Burning Hall that they decided to visit" the sect master of the Burning Hall said as his gaze wander in the beautiful faces and bodies of the people of the Jade Flower Sect.

When the people from the Jade Flower Sect notices the gaze of the sect master of the Burning Hall, their faces changed into disgust. One of them said, "Sect master of the Burning Hall, we apologize for our sudden visit without informing you earlier. We came here to ask the sect master if you would be willing to part with the Flaming Lotus Flower. Of course we won't ask it for free, sect master can ask anything to us and if it is in our capability, we will definitely fulfill it for you"

If Ye Yun was here, he will immediately realize who this woman was. It was the same woman who help him and his sister in the past and bring them to an Inn. It was the beautiful elder that was willing to take his sister as a personal disciple.

"Elder Lin, you must know how long we have to nurture the Flaming Lotus Flower. We had expended so much resources just to grow the flower. I'm afraid that I will have to disappoint you this time as we the Burning Hall will not exchange it in any other item" the sect master said while shaking his head. They used so much of their resources in this flower alone, how could he just exchange them easily.

"Don't be in a hurry to deny the request sect master. You still don't know what we will use in exchanging for the flower" Elder Lin then nodded at one of the lady beside her. The lady then steps forward and present a box at the sect master. The sect master take the box and opened it, when he saw what was inside the box, both his eyes bulge opens and his hands started to shake.

"I believe sect master know what that is, it is a beast core of a rank 6 beast. What's special about that beast core is that the beast where it came from was a flame beast. Meaning that there is a fire essence inside that beast core. I get that beast core only by chance when I saw a dying rank 6 beast in the past. Since then, I hide that beast core in my space ring for future use" Elder Lin stare while smiling at the sect master and continue, "I know what the sect master is trying to do in the Flaming Lotus Flower. You wanted to consume it to help you breakthrough and become a Golden Core Formation expert. But I will say you this, consuming the flower will not help you breakthrough. Not only it will not help you breakthrough it can also directly damage the meridians in your body"

"Although I knew that I am at disadvantage in this exchange as the beast core is much more valuable than the flower. I am still willing to be at disadvantage as I needed the Flaming Lotus Flower as an ingredient in creating pills. So, does sect master agreed in this exchange or not?" Elder Lin said still maintaining the smile on her face.

"Of course I agre *BZZZZZ*" before even the sect master finished, a vibrating sound echoed in the area which changes his expression.

"Sect master it seems there is an intruder" one of the elders of the Burning Hall said seriously.

"I know, follow me and see who dare to create trouble in the Burning Hall" the sect master's voice was filled with cold killing intent as he went out with the elders of the Burning Hall.

Elder Lin and the several members of the Jade Flower Sect exchange glances with each other before following behind the sect master. They wanted to watch and see who dares to attack the branch sect of the Burning Palace.

When the sect master arrive outside, he could see several of their disciples are lying on the floor not moving a single inch. The killing intent in his eyes turned intense and his face twisted in anger. At the center he could see a single woman standing alone, she was wearing a long black cloak with a chin high collar and a red clouds design. But what capture his interest was the face of the woman, especially her eyes. She has a purple eyes with a ripple pattern on it and there are several piercings on her face.

When Elder Lin and the people from the Jade Flower Sect saw the woman, their faces changes in disgust and pity. For majority of the woman in this world, their beauty is the most important thing for them. They will take care of it, and make sure that nothing will happen to it. But this woman in front of them have several piercings in her face, which destroys her beauty.

"Who are you and why did you attacked my Burning Hall?" although he was extremely angry, the sect master decided to ask first before he takes action.

"Your Burning Hall? I presume you are the sect master of this place. I only need one thing from you, and that is the Flaming Lotus Flower. If you give it to me there will be no more deaths that would be happening here" with an indifferent attitude and a cold voice, the woman said.

Everyone's faces changes when they heard what the woman said. It was clear that she was not putting anyone in her eyes and was looking down on them. Her arrogant and indifferent attitude immediately anger everyone especially the sect master. He was the master of this place, that flower was his and now this woman suddenly came, kill his people and even dare to ask and threaten them. The killing intent and the anger which the sect master suppress immediately exploded like a raging volcano.

"Woman! There is only one outcome for you today! And that is death!" burning flames surrounded the body of the sect master as he shot forward like a rocket towards the woman.
