3 Wayward

"It gets pretty lonely out in this forest. very few have actually had contact with me between each century." He silently said turning back towards me.

"Century's? that's not possible...what are you?" I said as I looked up at him.

His eyes had turned back to their calming green state and his finger tips no longer showcased his claws.

" I'm a guardian to put it lightly, it's the easiest way to explain it to your kind." he rolled out from his blushing lips.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me behind him, walking to the edge of the stream. I tried to wriggle my hand out but he effortlessly held on and didn't budge.

"What are you doing? Let go! I need to find my village!" I whimpered to him. "Please..."

He turned around and put his hand on my face gently, so warm. He let out a sigh and said, "I told you, you can't go back it's impossible...for you. If you try to leave you will die. It's the way of this world." He was genuine with his words and I could feel his sorrow towards me.

Tears welled up in my eyes and my heart sank. Never can I go back unless I'm willing to die. Either way I won't be home. I collapsed to the ground and let the tears flow from my eyes. I sensed slivyr walking over to me and I rolled on to my side to face away from him. He knelt down, hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I wish there was a way. The only way to keep you out of harm's way here is to make you my bride." he softly said.

My tears came down harder. I never get to leave and I must marry some strange man that isn't even a human. I'm only 23..I...I..can't.

"It will be hard at first but you will get to know this place as yours.." he tried to lift my spirits but it was no use. This was my fault, his fault ugh I don't even know.

"But we must make our way outward so the beast doesn't find you. It could have many plans for you and killing you would be the most generous."

My tears stopped and my heart froze. I felt empty but turned towards him. He lay out a hand in front of me and I grabbed it. He pulled me in and lifted me into his arms

"It will be faster this way," he said.

I nodded and closed my eyes putting my face into his warm strong chest. it was the only comfort I could muster out for myself. His hair intwined with mine and he seemed to fly past the trees. I looked up at him and he seems so calm..not just now but all the time. I made my way to his green eyes, his strong jaw....long neck...defined collar bones...I was starting to get hot and he caught my eyes and smiled. Hastily I looked down blushing, hiding in his shirt. He stopped.

"We will stop here Leanna, until daylight shows back." he said putting me down.

We were at the entrance of some cave and I turned around to see a beautiful lit up show from the forest. A beautiful ethereal glow shined out of the tree tops. Silvyr grabbed my shoulder and put my jaw in his hand. My heart started fluttering faster. He guided my head upwards towards the sky. Waving his hand the stars danced, and the sky transformed into a vision of colors. It was so beautiful...we turned to looked at each other. leaning in closer. My chest full to burst. I then moved over.

"I'm getting tired..." I fake yawned.
